I don't even doubt that according to the law of the genre, Avery, aka the Evil Driftwood, will become a more seasoned and tough fighter by the minute. And an epic fight of tops with humus awaits us)))
How amazing is the interaction between Abby and Alec! I wish I could watch and watch! With each episode, the thought of closing the series gets more depressing...
@overgreenmind: I was scared when they really almost "intervened", I didn't want to imagine it. Although, admittedly, Alec could easily grow himself a pipette of any size, which, by the way, would be a good way to monetize the mutagen.
What a charismatic actor who plays Alec. He really has some inner charm that I can't even describe. And how wonderful they look with Crystal on the screen. After reading the description in Google of the Swamp Creature, it was immediately suspected that the most important enemy in the series was Rot, but apparently, because of the closure, they did not delay it for a long time. I think that Abby's childhood friend was also killed by Rot, and they'll come back to this topic later. There are only two things in this episode that I didn't really like.: 1. Matt doesn't look like Avery and Lucilia's son. 2. Where did Suzy go? It is logical that after Maria's breakdown, she was taken away somewhere, but was it necessary to mention it somehow? But of course, walking among Alec and Abby's flowers still covers it with interest. I believe that somehow Abby will find a way to balance between Alec and the Swamp Creature.
It's been a long time since I've had my heart flutter for someone in a comic book series like for this couple, and in particular for Holland. A very pleasant actor and character.
@ChrisRedfield: I laughed too. Two white men have a black son. Yes, I know about the recessive gene, the universal excuse of whores. But it's so ridiculous.
I understand perfectly well that this is a comic book, but somehow everything is so ridiculously arranged that you constantly feel Spanish shame. At least this episode has a touch of touch and a plot - with a banal ending, but at least some dynamics. I can't understand why Alec became so active only when Abby showed up in his old form-she didn't scare him off or push him away, she tried to help him, but he didn't do anything. And as soon as he acquired his real appearance, he kicked her out again. Some kind of excessive dramatization. Is that what a scientist would do?
Well, damn, stop leaving Andy Bean on the outskirts : (give him some screen time already. and I wonder how a mulatto got out so black for a quarter, with fairly white-skinned parents. He should be like Halsey, but not like that. Oh well, genetics is a strange thing.
Abby is sick of yelling at every corner that she's a CDC doctor. You touch patients without gloves, take the mask off your face just like that, risking getting sick yourself and infecting everyone else. In the laboratory, you work without protection, with your bare hands, arranging aesthetic cups of coffee. The CDC doctor? Stupid cunt! How is she still alive? She broke every rule there is. She would have been fired a long time ago.
Is it practical to dress up in a swamp? Or maybe it's better to wear a white T-shirt, let your hair down beautifully, and fashionable ankle boots? Bah! I remembered the gloves! What's wrong?
It feels like the script was written on the knee of a nervous man. "Well, well, the series is being closed after the first season, we found out about it after the first episode, so we'll fuck everything else. Great plan!"

It's just ridiculous that the "son" immediately believed)))
