Just incredibly beautifully done, I missed it. Costumes, scenery, music...Everything is so majestic, without excessive pathos. Of course, some moments are clearly added for beauty and pictures, but it's so fascinating to watch...At the same time, the plot corresponds: dynamic, intriguing, balancing between an empress and a woman, between politics and feelings. The most famous foreign historical series are envious.
And yes, of course, I love Marina Aleksandrova, I understand that I can be biased, but how much I like her in the role of Ekaterina.
Smolyanka Elagina and Nelidova are wonderful, it will be interesting with them ...
Princess Tarakanova is like an ordinary fraud, but she is so charming, and she can stand up for herself, she does not wait until everything falls into her mouth by itself, I like her line.

If I had known that this season was not the third at all, but some 2.5, I would have watched it earlier to get into the chronology. I think, like everyone else, I was surprised by the appearance of Natalia. In the second season, it was unpleasant to watch her. Pavel suddenly changed his hairstyle, which is also a bit out of chronology. If you decide to cram in between seasons, then you don't have to back down in the little things

I am absolutely delighted with the first episode! Every time I enjoy and rejoice how our people can make TV series in a high-quality, interesting and colorful way😍 The Empress's jewelry alone is admired, and the furnishings of the palaces are simply a delight to the eyes.
