@fs_ann: Well noted. Dessie was clearly a mentally retarded subject. I don't know the history of Henry Lee to the end, I find it difficult to assess the adequacy, but he clearly doesn't look like a clever genius. And so far it turns out that American law enforcement officers happily hung all the hangings on him indiscriminately, not really thinking about the prospects in the courtroom.
