Discussion: Season 3, Episode 8 Join the Discussion
405Overall, it was a passing season, it was an interesting idea with Pan and pollination (if they had promoted it more strongly), I liked that the characters were given a story and some kind of interaction, but Sabrina, I'm sorry, I don't like her game and what kind of character they made for her this season. He does completely stupid and reckless things...completely in line with what Ambrose told her at the end of the episode.
and as for his usefulness, the little Riverdale fans need him...
Thank you for making this season darker, more painful, heavier and sadder. It is very different from the first two, many say that the third is a pass-through - I do not agree. He rather began to raise the degree of tension and problems. It's not about power, it's about family values, betrayals and the choices we make. That's why I liked it so much.
It has always been clear that Sabrina is selfish, so there is no need to be surprised at how she acts and that she never follows the rules. She used to be special, so we have what we have. Although I want her to develop more as a character. I keep waiting for her to really feel all the pain, and not some of its echoes and without the opportunity to fix it.
I can't forgive them for such a terrible character development like Nick. Such a huge potential and just down the drain. The creators promised to give him more screen time. You know, I didn't notice something.
I fell in love with Ambrose again. Just an incredible character. Well done. He achieves everything with his mind, knowledge, blood and sweat, when Sabrina comes to everything ready. I want our boy to be given happiness already.
I've been thrilled with Prudence all season! God, she's so good. Of course, Dorcas was leaked in the most terrible way, but what can you do? I really hope very much that a cooler arch will be invented for Prudence in season 4.
Aunties! How I love them! I am incredibly happy for Hilda and Dr. C. However, for a moment I even believed that everything would end sadly for them. And Zelda and her love line with Mambo! I knew they'd get together. They are just made for each other. What sparks flew from them!
There is nothing to say about our mortal friends. I still don't like Theo, Roz, and Harvey. For me, it's a trinity....which, well, just takes up extra screen time. But Robin was pleased.
And, of course, these sudden musical bets. Thanks for them. I liked.
"... And Zelda and her love line with Mambo! I knew they'd get together. They are just made for each other. What sparks flew from them!.."
Zelda and Mambo... it was unexpected and I don't mind at all, BUT WHY WITH HER AND NOT WITH LILITH?!! 😑
But I didn't like Sabrina's split feint at all. Ambrose had said it right: sooner or later Lilith and everyone else would find out about her prank, and then what? Sabrina, as always, decided that she was the most cunning, but, as usual, she did not think about the consequences. Frankly, I'm starting to get annoyed by this trait of her character. It would seem that after all that had happened, she should have become smarter, but in the end they came to where they started.
In general, the season is at the level of the previous ones, it also keeps you in suspense throughout the episodes, which is cool.
I don't know, I didn't really like part 3, or rather, it disappointed me somehow.
I was all over Nabrina, so in the end that's the one.... they broke it ((
I hope everything will be better in the next part and I hope it won't take long to wait.
Ambrose\Prue is the hottest couple, but they got fucked up in this part too
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING! I signed up for a Netflix subscription because of the series, and then I even regretted it (((
what a gorgeous season finale, just look!
So, a little bit about everything:
Sabrina in hell is just WOW, it's a gorgeous sight
Zelda and Mamabo.... WHAT A TWIST! (interesting, but I'd like to see a Zelda/Lilith pair)
I look at Hilda with that fortune-teller at the fair, and I remember the rhyme:
"Any woman in the world,
No matter how cute she is,
Can make a Voodoo doll,
And he knows where the broom is"
- krch just Wow picture)))
I feel sorry for Prudence and the prophetic sisters((
another very cute and funny moment was with Hilda and Dr. C))))
Overall, the season is good. After the end of the second one, honestly, I expected the whole real season in hell, a la the search and rescue of a guy (which would be a failure, imho), and I already managed to get upset. BUT.. that's where Netflix surprised me, presenting a completely different, unexpected plot. And the plot is good. There are, of course, some shortcomings, some silly moments, but the overall picture still looks great. And even the plot idea for the next season is very logical and interesting. I hope they don't make a mistake...
"...Sabrina in hell is just WOW, it's a gorgeous sight..."
I waited for the manifestation of this power until the very last. I really don't like it when the previously obtained powers are worn out. I think this is the inability of screenwriters to cope with their own writing.
I also feel very sorry for Caliban. It was developed so well and merged at the very last moment. Caleb and Brina look perfect together! She generally does not know how to control herself, she makes grimaces like a monkey, but he is constantly cold-blooded and his every pose is at least painting a picture, at least howling a statue. A complete harmony of opposites. Neither Harvey nor Nick were even lying around.
The plot as a whole went down, but it's bad that the whole season was stomping on the spot, and the most interesting thing was that the Ancients vs Hell vs Heaven were left behind the scenes. I hope they will extend it.
to some extent, it even seems that the previous parts were more exciting in this regard.
I would like to mention the very funny, awkward and inappropriate musical inserts, which caused Spanish shame.. *facepalm*
Riverdale has already been ruined by this, why transfer the same problem to Sabrina?:(
well, actors can't sing, so just let them play. Why do this?
I wouldn't say anything if the level of musical skills and talents was at least close to the level of actors from Gli..
Was Abigail (Dorcas) eliminated just because she's starring in another Netflix series?? It won't be the same without the prophetic sisters now.
and why does Sabrina continue to be described as silly despite everything that has happened? I require adequate character development.
I hope that
there will be fewer references in the next part, but they will be worked out so that the roof is blown off.
because there is potential, but it is not being used 100%.
let's say I did not understand everything: where did these ancients come from, where did the pagans come from, the god Pan and Medusa Gorgon on minimals, whom Zelda promised to worship during Hilda's revival, what happened to Blackwood and the twins during their wanderings, etc.
More explanations are needed..
and as noted earlier, there were no fascinating moments in this season like in the previous installments, when Sabrina became an imbecile. but I really wanted to see the scolding from Spellman.
I really hope for a high-quality season 4 in every sense.
musical season?
This season turned out to be darker than the last 2..
the 7th episode will fly away!!
Thank you for not bringing Harvey and Sabrina together...
I'm glad that the series hasn't completely sunk yet.
There's nothing to even say
Just 🔥😍🔥💗💕
But the only thing that pisses me off is WAITING FOR A WHOLE YEAR AGAIN. 👿👿👿
they threw a good fishing rod, but for the first time I'm not interested in what will happen next season.
it seems to me that it was really necessary to finish the season and the series in general on episode 7. It would be epic.
It's completely unclear why there are so many musical numbers. Was there a performance in each episode? although 2-3 rooms out of all would be enough.
I really liked how strong the female characters were made, who mess up, save everyone, and create history. although there is a game going on in the series, but in this regard I am happy)
I'm not exactly thrilled with the season, but it's definitely darker than the previous ones. It would be perfect if they killed a couple of important characters, the same Robin.
One of the obvious disadvantages for me is the lack of development of Sabrina, who is under the power of the "hero complex", as it was said in the series, and for some reason still thinks that her actions will not do anything bad to anyone. But the coronation scene was cool. I wonder what will happen to Queen Sabrina in the end when her brother is born. And sooner or later she would get tired of being a queen, and then how Sabrina would deal with it on earth was unclear. It was worth thinking about, but Sabrina never really thinks about the consequences.
Nick, it's sad that in the end the scriptwriters did this to him:
Ambrose and the aunts are still the best. I'm glad Prudence is alive, and I'm sad that things turned out this way for her and Ambrose, but I understand her feelings. I also thought that if they had killed Blackwood in the beginning, half of the problems could have been avoided. I'm glad that Sabrina and Harvey haven't been brought together again, although I still don't really believe in his relationship with Roz. Nick and Sabrina — I hope all is not lost here yet, please, scriptwriters.
It's a pity that they didn't show how Mikhail and the angels dealt with hell, in general, I would like to see a little bit of the "heavenly" side in the series. They obviously have to react somehow to everything that happens to earth and hell.
I have no complaints about the musical inserts, except that the scenes with the cheerleaders were not particularly relevant, but as part of Sabrina's ordinary life it will do.
To be honest, I, like few others, liked this part more.
The smooth development of the plot, and then the heat of passion.
Of the cons:
1) The Nickname was leaked. In fact, this season he was needed in order for Sabrina to take the throne.
2) Songs. Why else would it be necessary to introduce it. It's not a musical, if I put it down to stalling in Riverdale, but here... It was quite possible to do without: it was not necessary to sing during cheerleading, and the lullaby could be replaced with a spell.
As for the moment and the episode, I didn't remember, but I remember the moment when Theo mentioned his family to Robin, either at Robin's first appearance, or later at the amusement park.
I am very glad that at least the aunts are doing well in the end. Hilda deserves a quiet life with the person she loves, which she dreams of (although she still won't get it in the near future). And what was she like in the pagan scene! I like these moments with her, they remind me that gentleness is not equal to weakness. Well, Zelda is generally a fire this season (to be honest, I stuck to her :D). Sometimes you just want a series about the older generation.
There are suspicions that Sabrina will continue to be driven with Harvey...
The beginning of the third season seemed quite promising:
here you have a Nickname with a crazy mentality, unknown "ancients", a kid with abs and a pretty face.
Mid-season: filled with strange situations, but quite intriguing.
Denouement: fast, predictable.
When I watched the end of the second season, I was really curious to know, "What's next? How will the main characters deal with the problems?".
But this time, the scriptwriters left an open, unclear ending. So what should I do?
I can't even imagine what will happen. (
In general, over the three seasons, the series continues to hold good positions (the main thing is that it should not be turned into Riverdale). I hope that next season we will see more character development, their stories from the past.
I still don't understand why it wasn't possible to split the two branches about hell and about the ancient gods into two half-seasons.
Well, I'll never forgive Nick for such a terrible "development". as well as behind the screen.
Looooool, but could we?? She screamed a lot from that moment on.
Caliban is sexy, I even wanted him and Sabrina to get involved, although it's a pity that they leaked Nick like that.
And the grotesque entourage in hell looked a little cheap and in the style of school drama club decorations, as well as all sorts of makeup a la courtiers of hell. And I didn't like the Marie Antoinette-style Queen of Hell at all.
Paradoxes are paradoxes, but in this form I just can't understand.
I'll try to explain what's in my head.
Sabrina is in stone.
Option one - Sabrina was released in an even more distant future. The future Sabrina finds a way to travel through time, but apparently there were some limitations and she was transported to the near future, where she changed with herself. Everything seems to be more or less normal here, but there are too many questions (although there are many, enough to open your YouTube channel with theories).
Option two - Sabrina is not Sabrina at all, someone took on the appearance and changed with her to change the future to their advantage. Everything is pretty neat here, we can assume that it will all be revealed in the next episodes and generally interesting. But we didn't see a single hint of this, except that the second Sabrina was quite cheerful in such a difficult situation.
The third option is absurd - Sabrina somehow found out about the future from the past (or someone helped her), she thinks over a super strategy and finds a way to move through time without touching the egg. In this version, the roof is moving slowly and quietly, primarily due to the fact that then Sabrina would have received memories of her journey.
In general, don't twist your ass, but Sabrina, in order to free herself, must be freed by someone. I've read about paradoxes and stuff, but none of them fit this situation as far as I'm concerned. In the current situation, a second Sabrina shouldn't have appeared by magic sneeze.
While I was writing, it dawned on me for another option.
As a result, we have two Sabrina right now. Maybe just one of them will go back in time to do what is necessary.
Or I'm too dumb to understand great screenwriters. What a nightmare.
this is called a time loop: Sabrina-from-the-future frees Sabrina-from-the-present, takes her place, she saves the world, returns back and saves Sabrina-from-the-past, taking her place in the stone.
Sabrina-from-the-past saves the world, goes back and saves Sabrina-from-the-past2, taking her place in the stone.
and so on ad infinitum.
The question is, where did the second Sabrina-from-the-future come from, who dissuaded Sabrina-from-the-present from closing the loop?
But in this situation, there is nothing to lock in because the timeline has been changed, and rather Sabrina the traveler should have disappeared.
And if they had actually tried to make a time loop, then Sabrina the traveler's actions should not have affected anything, after the end of the world she needed to sleep somewhere for a few decades, and then switch places with herself in the hope that next time it would work out.
That is, we have Sabrina 0 - the one that is "original", in stone.
Sabrina 1 appears and changes places, the one from the distant future and she knows why Sabrina 0 needs to do everything exactly as she said, without any tricks.
Sabrina 0 fixes everything, but comes up with a trick, catches herself before being imprisoned in stone and, in fact, creates Sabrina -1 - the one who becomes the queen of hell.
In fact, there are now 3 Sabrina's at the same time.
There is a chance that the writers will show another time travel in the new season, which will make a loop in the loop. Or it's one loop, but bigger than planned.
@DeadDanny spoke very well about this topic of time in the comments below.
He described the nuances that I had forgotten because of the emotions of watching.
if she is sitting in a stone, then she must physically leave it, then return and change with herself..... where did the second Sabrina come from initially?
And also why she came to free herself from the stone at a time when everyone was already dead.... Why didn't she come back the moment she was trapped in the stone?
Anyway, where are the time travel experts here?))) Doctor Who fans may be able to explain. Well, initially, the second Sabrina could come and save the first one only if someone freed the first Sabrina in the future and she returned from that future earlier and freed herself. In short, it's delusional.
And, by the way, they didn't explain pocket universes in the DC, so just figure it out for yourself :)
In general, I suggest the imaginable: in fact, Sabrina was not moving into the same reality in the past, but into another, respectively, there are realities where she is in stone, where the world is fucked, a world where Sabrina is no more, and this one, where there are two of them.
(let's leave out the possible realities where Sabrin is more than one... and give a hot kiss to Rick and Morty)
I thought and thought and came up with
In the first appearance, the second Sabrina is not Sabrina at all. Someone took her form and freed Sabrina so that she could create just the reality in which the temporary egg hatched.
, and this is just a stupid loop where you go back to the past, change everything, and everything works out, the loop is over, which is impossible.
A time loop is not groundhog day, where you return to the beginning of the cycle while retaining memories. In fact, a person gets stuck in an endless cycle and constantly starts it with the memories that he had at the time of falling into this time trap. That's the difficulty of the loop, first, you need to understand that you're in a loop, and secondly, figure out how to break it and do it before the loop ends, otherwise you'll have to figure it out again. The idea of a time loop is well shown in the 3rd series of Love, Death & Robots.
There are two options here, either it's a super piano in the bushes, which will be explained later, or it's scripted impotence.
If the second option is, then of course I won't continue watching. Otherwise, they can introduce Putin into the plot and say that he is a Caramel Princess, an age-old opponent of witches. I'm exaggerating, of course, but still.
The idea of the season began to be actively implemented only by episode 6, which is very unfortunate. And we finished, as always, about nothing...
But in this gloomy realm, a couple of rays of light can be distinguished from the confusion - aunties, the brilliant Ambrose and the new character Caliban -here I have no complaints.👍
Sabrina, as always, is doing shit and thinks it's okay. 🤪
I wrote about the stupid musical numbers in the comments to the 2nd episode - it's kind of tough, I want to quit this series because of this, like it was with Riverdale.
Her aunts are one selfish woman who wants power over everything, the other is a mumbler (well, thank you that at least everything is fine with her).
Lilith is a servant of Satan in the beginning. Season two, wow, she could be Satan. The third season is a pregnant servant of Satan. And she was still chasing Sabrina everywhere to wipe her ass.
(That's what I liked, it's Mary Wardell. At least something new in this series).
Actually, the character of Satan has some kind of crisis in this series. He was defeated in a snap in the second season. In the third season, Lilith, as the Queen of Hell, did nothing but pose in different parts of the hall. Then Lucifer came back... He broke one neck... and... that's it? He couldn't have turned all the necks or the series would have ended quickly, I can't understand. It feels like it's not the main devil in hell, but just a pawn.
I don't even want to write about Sabrina's friends. I have the impression that they were used to plug holes.
If I used to watch this series for Michelle Gomez, now I don't understand what it's all about.
In the end, the 3rd part of the LDPS escaped from the egg, I'm sure)
and Lucifer, I'm just some kind of joke for you
It's a shame that Nick was leaked, everything revolved on the fact that in the end one Sabrina became the queen of Hell, and the other remained on Earth
I waited a lot of time to get a picture, but they showed almost nothing.
I even found the music trailer more dynamic and interesting.
Secondly, Sabrina from the future killed with her stupidity when she created such a temporary paradox. They explained to her in human language that it threatens CHAOS, but she is the smartest!
Third, All 8 episodes showed us that the feelings between Harvey and Sabrina are still there and they are the truest. What's at the end? Harvey loves Rosie again and has long-awaited sex with her. I'm pretty sick of people confessing their love here, and cheating on a girl's friend in the next episode. What kind of friendship is this, a relationship?
I love this series, but more logic, well!
While she was still only dressed in some combinations and curls were styled, it was sexy and cool, but then this wig, dress and collar!!! And the aesthetics of Marie Antoinette in hell are not clear at all.
but seriously, it's a weak season in my opinion, all 6 episodes of the characters went around in circles and didn't really do anything except wonder who sincerely loved whom, and in the last two, EVERYONE RUN, APOCALYPSE, A NEW QUEEN, A TIME LOOP, TWO SABRINA, FAUST HAS GONE CRAZY, HARVEY IS NO LONGER A VIRGIN
, I thought at least he would arrange something from his side.
I'm not saying it was really bad, but I just don't like it when people sing and dance in movies. But at least there was a performance based on the plot, not a musical pause :)
The most important question is why no one bothered to find Blackwood's father after the showdown with the nomads? Seriously, is anyone interested in what the fuck this bastard might do? Moreover, why the fuck didn't the twins give up? I'm truly sorry for Prudence in her grief for her sisters, but hello, baby, your blood brother and sister were locked in a dollhouse, and you didn't even bother to check if they were okay, if they were in place, if the crazy dad got to them! Yes, it's better if you shed tears for the murdered woman and the murderer, and then you yell pathetically at Ambrose and go sigh on Nick's shoulder. Seriously, Prudence, baby, I truly love you this season, but this episode has raised a lot of questions about the logic of your behavior.
I'm still not quite sure how to feel about Zelda and Mambo's peyring, although they're aesthetically beautiful, but I'm happy for Hilda and Dr. Tse. And a special thanks for the sisters in this series. On the scene with Hilda praying to Hecate, asking for my sister's return, I cried, honestly and from the bottom of my heart. Miranda Otto dramatically played this moment. The scene where Zelda deals with that nomad with tarot cards also brought goosebumps. Oh, I love badass so much!Zelda, it's a pity that there's not much of her in the series at all.
There are a lot of questions for Lilith. She was always the character whose development I was interested in watching. And I didn't even blame her for deciding to get pregnant with Lucifer-well, okay, all means are good in war, but her own life is still precious to her. And then the last episode happened.
"You are the glory and pride of the Devil. You are the face of the hordes and the inhabitants of hell. Use your teeth and claws against your enemies, and bathe your skin in their blood. Every queen should be ready for battle, every girl should be ready for war. Gird up your loins, be independent, don't let anyone push you around. When they beg for mercy, [...] be adamant."
I get goosebumps from this speech; despite the pathos, it's really good. But what? Does Lilith pronounce it? Lilith, who, as the commentators above correctly noted, has been gracefully turning her head while sitting on the throne all season? Where was her independence? Why did she let a bunch of demons doubt her greatness? Why wasn't she adamant and didn't get to the point where she was begged for mercy?
But I may have complaints about the logic of the heroine, as prescribed by the screenwriters. And I absolutely admire Lilith, who we see played by Michelle Gomez. In those moments when she just silently appears in the frame, and other characters are discussing Sabrina as the Queen of Hell, in Lilith's eyes you see disagreement and pain, misunderstanding why this sixteen-year-old piggy suddenly needed the throne. The throne that Lilith has been walking towards all her fucking life! And the fact that Ambrose is talking to Sabrina, saying that Lilith can't help but notice that Sabrina is two, leaves me hoping that Lilith's lines will develop normally next season.
I didn't like the season as a whole more than I liked it. Although the last two episodes have definitely raised the interest to a higher level. Let's see if they hatched something at the end of this season that they can really pull off next season.)
Seriously, I thought there would be some kind of cool black outfit, well, it's just imagination. 🙌🏽
They did a lot of business, of course🤦🏻♀️
And why does Sabrina always complicate everything, sometimes you want to shout right into the screen, "stop it already!"
But the series is still interesting for its gloomy atmosphere, of course I will continue to watch.
Probably, in season 4 there will be a theme with time, and with some ancient gods or horsemen.😫
Sabrina: I don't give a fuck.
Effects: * They catch up with her in the fourth season*
Sabrina: Damn it, how is that? :(
I'm sure there will be problems next season because of the two Sabrinas.. And as we know, time is not a joke..
I also really liked the fact that Nick had changed so much. Yes, he was being a jerk to Sabrina. But damn it. That's exactly what's interesting! He shouldn't have come back from hell and the experience of an ordinary Nickname. Satan himself was in it. And I'm glad they showed us how it affected him. To be honest, now I don't even know if I see him as a couple with Brina. Like, you can tell from the ending that he's going to be with Prudence. And after what happened between Nick and Sabrina this season, I really don't see them connecting.
I noticed hints of Harvey and Brina. Like, "Oh, you still have feelings for each other there." It's a twofold feeling, after all, they've met and remained friends, and maybe they have warm feelings for each other. As a result, I don't see them as a couple either. I like Harvey, but which one of them is already a couple?
Maybe the main character will be alone? Or is it like the law of the genre that the hero must have a lover?
1. Sabrina. She annoyed me more and more with each episode. If in previous seasons she could be justified by childish naivety and inexperience, then after all she has been through, she steps on the same rake again. Creators, where is the character development? Why doesn't she develop in any way, and even gets dumber and dumber every time. I'm not talking about the two Sabrinas at all... As usual, she doesn't think about the consequences, and let's see where it leads.
2. Nick. HOW.COULD. IT. BE.SO.stupidly. DRAIN IT.A CHARACTER??? In the second season, we actively watched its development, and in the third season, the creators decided to undo everything that happened in the previous season. Yes, I understand that he went through a lot, but somehow the creators leaked him.. My heart is broken along with Sabrina. I hope that their couple will overcome the difficulties next season and get back together, because they are such a bombastic couple.🔥
3. Prudence and Ambrose. I'm going to be brief here, as they've been dragging out this season at the highest level. Great character development this season, I hope they'll come up with something even more interesting in season 4.
5. Caliban. A handsome actor, it was interesting to watch him, but there is nothing more to say, since there was too little of him on the screen, I hope that he will reappear in season 4 to watch him better.
6. But I didn't have enough Spellman aunts, there were no jokes as always, everyone was busy with their own business, which basically forgot about their family.
7. Lucifer. The actor doesn't lose the fight, but the character himself shocked me. He's Lucifer himself, why was he made a helpless being this season who only took revenge on everyone? That's what I didn't understand.
8. God, don't let Nikki and Prudence get together, or I won't really like the season finale. Let them return to their halves, because the couples are just amazing, harmonious, in my opinion.
In general, there are interesting makings for season 4, I hope it will be more interesting than this one. The consequences of Sabrina's decision, the creature that Faust released, promise to be massive. Unfortunately, season 3 didn't inspire the same admiration that I had from previous seasons.
How did Ambrose and Prudence not notice the disappearance of the egg and the house with the Blackwood children, who were being followed so much ...?
In general, the season is interesting, especially when Zelda found a source of power.
one, and that's the problem with all these movements, which most screenwriters don't have enough brains for (unlike, for example, the brilliant Darkness)
They shouldn 't have taken up these time loops ...
And this crazy jerk apparently just released the crap from the last season of very strange cases.
It's an ambiguous season. The characters were stupefied at once, plot twists and not twists at all, fucked-up love lines (which were introduced it is not clear why). They also got involved in time games. Sabrina's Egozim is already overstepping all bounds. Still, I had a better opinion of this series.
Thank you that at least Dr. C wasn't killed. I was really worried about him.
I love the romantic line between Hilda and Tse, even though the characters in the series have some kind of pure and warm feelings.
As always, at the highest level!
and Sabrina had moments like that, but now she'll laugh herself :D
I was hoping that Sabrina would be hotter on the throne, like on the poster. The outfit and this makeup didn't go in at all, but they apparently have specific tastes there. Let's forget that Lucik and Lilith are normal and wear such sexy outfits. Well, actually, lol, another season confirming that in the end the Dark Lord always gets his way from Sabrina. She has such a will. 🤔
Question. Sabrina, being the smartest one, decided to do it her own way and interrupt the timeline. But as I understood it, the very first Sabrina got out of the stone on her own, without anyone's help. And so, for all her suffering, has she remained in stone? Or how does it work? Who helped Sabrina first. Oh, these games with timelines. 🤯
Nick and Prudence? No, please.
And seriously, did they just forget about Blackwall?! About the Blackwall bitch who tried to kill them a hundred times? That's it?! Even Prudence?!?!?! She ran to throw a tantrum at Ambrose, but she put it on her brother and sister?! Well breeeeeed.
It's a pity that Sabrina and Nick broke up this season. I don't even know who she'd rather be with, Nick or Harvey. The end of the season was impressive.
Sabrina, as always, decided that she had outsmarted everyone, but something tells me that she (and not only she) will pay for it.
I agree with the comments above that Sabrina has no development from season to season.
Of course, I understand that it was necessary for the plot, but why did the Spellmans completely forget about Blackwood and the egg? They didn't even mention, like, "Oh, Blackwood ran away, well, lan, we'll look for him later," or something like that. Or did I miss something?
This season, I've completely fallen in love with Prudence, she's gorgeous!!!
Zelda and Mambo Marie - whoooooo, cool!!!
And the summoning ceremony of Hecate sent goosebumps, a very strong scene.
I didn't believe that Dr. C was dead until recently. The first rule of cinema: until you see a corpse, do not believe that the hero is dead))))))) I am very happy for them and Hilda)
P.S. Those who watch the series in voiceover, miss Caliban's murderously sexy voice. I wouldn't mind if there was a series where Caliban just tells some "Tales from Hell" for 50 minutes."))))))))))
It's amazing how stupid and illogical Sabrina has been made. Well, that's just the stump of all logic. Here we will save the old man, and here we already want to be the queen of hell. But here we just give away the silver coins simply because. What kind of idiocy is this? Gg sometimes behaves like a five-year-old child. Well, there are no such naive people, unless, of course, they have lived in captivity and have not seen how the world "works".
It amazes and saddens me how everything turned from a great first season to this.
And I still haven't figured out which Sabrina returned home and which one rules hell.
Nick. Something was going on with him this season. In the first two parts, he revealed himself to be (as he called himself) "the great wizard since the time of Edward Spellman." But in fact, he ran all season, didn't know where to put himself, while simultaneously blaming Sabrina for all his mortal sins. The scriptwriters promised the character more screen time, which was not the case. The picture was leaked altogether (I hope they fix it). This character disappointed in 3 parts.
It broke Ambrose's heart when Prudence dumped him, and they looked so good together.
Lilith needs to be given credit, because she was able to skillfully get out and keep her head on her shoulders.
When will Faust be killed? Part 4 is just around the corner, and the antagonists are essentially the same.
The season is worse than the previous two, but it's not all bad yet. Sometimes there are very cool moments, and sometimes we have what we have)) Let's hope that the scriptwriters won't let the series run in one place.
It's not a bad season. There are not enough stars from the sky, but I really got carried away and pulled in. It is interesting to observe the general psychosis that is taking place, ignoring what is happening in the characters on personal fronts (almost everyone has never had interesting romantic lines, except Hilda and the Doctor).
that is, this pirouette can now be called "how to create your clone without registration and SMS"
But they shouldn't have summoned Cthulhu.
You know, as they say, a horror movie ceases to be a horror movie when the main character is given a weapon. It's the same with deaths in Sabrina. I don't believe in any of them, which is why I don't feel any emotions from the actual scenes of their deaths.
Kill Dorcas forever? Oh, my God, how are we going to survive the death of a character who influences the course of the entire series??? I mean, no matter who in the audience likes her, the series won't lose anything from her death. All the key characters have been returned.
In general, you end up watching the whole series thinking, "Why should I worry? They'll fix it anyway." Scriptwriters, be brave, alo.
I hope that next season will somehow compensate for this failure..
And anyway, I thought the image of Sabrina at the coronation was supposed to be terrifying, but greetings from the 18th century
Everyone falls asleep, except for witches and gentlemen.
PS: Fat people need to raise a fuss against the series for discrimination, since almost all the characters here look more like models than wizards, witches, ghouls and demons. And the number of half-naked pumped-up guys at some point began to make me sick.
The first 2 seasons walked on thin ice between something stylish/ tasteful and a fucking mess of bad taste, dubious reinterpretations, fetishes and the inability of the authors to stop in time. WHY THE FUCK IS THAT??? HOW TO FUCKING LIVE?? HOW TO LIVE???
Season - ban
And now I have to go to rehab in the form of watching a true detective in order to restore the missing chromosomes that this season has safely taken away.
honestly, I couldn't even empathize with anyone this season, it's so bad. I was thrilled with the first two seasons. And in the third, I never expected that I would sit and bomb almost every phrase and illogical actions, or completely predictable ones. The series has been turned into some kind of Disney musical with a lot of stupid whining. A huge number of lines that could not withstand any dynamics, everything is crumpled. In the end, not only did Sabrina live in two schools from the very beginning, but she'll also start jumping into a support group, collecting regalia, moving through time, trying to sit on ten chairs at the same time, and doing it all from the category of "oh, I can't go looking for regalia today because I'm going to with friends at the fair" (exaggerated, of course, but a lot of things look that way).
Why did Lucifer and Lilith disappear from the stones at the end and end up in the hall at once? At what point did Sabrina start moving? Why is Nick drained so badly and turned into a rag? There is no empathy for his suffering! He volunteered to help and ended up blaming Sabrina for everything. Why does everyone have to go on dates urgently when something fucked up is going on?
And finally. WHAT. IS. THAT. DRESS. AT THE END?????! Where did the stile go? Is she the queen of hell or the 18th century? Oh gods, I felt sick while I was writing this comment. Like the previous commenter, I need urgent chromosome repair.
+ bloodiness
+ Caliban
+ Auntie Zee and Mambo Marie
+ Aunt Helda is getting married
- screenwriters
1) Sabrina barely manages to correct her own stupidity and immediately does even more stupidity.
2) The population of Pandemonium looks like they were recruited as extras right from the concert of the King and the Fool band. Sabrina the Queen looks like Marie Antoinette to domestic Satanists.
3) Against the background of the cancellation of the apocalypse, they just took and scored on the Blackwood who had gone completely, well, as if a psychopath with a strange egg had disappeared and disappeared, what could go wrong.
they opened a bunch of lines and quickly and stupidly merged everything for the last episode of the season. wonderful...
the pagans were able to arrange the end of the world, but at the same time Sabrina and the aunts were able to easily drive them away and kill them, bravo
Lucifer is shown as some kind of rat. He attacks stealthily and it feels like he's not the ruler of hell, but some kind of jerk...
Faust is actually some kind of psychopath, and it's not even interesting to watch his line.
Sabrina was still a silly little girl. all the same mistakes. Sabrina, when are you going to grow up, really? They tell her what to do, and she does the opposite...
Roz, Harvey, and Theo have been infuriating all season. It's just that unnecessary characters who don't get any development throughout the series are trash.
constant dancing and singing... Am I watching a musical?
Sabrina's dress at the end of the season - WHAT IS IT!? WAS IT REALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO CHOOSE A GOOD IMAGE, WELL KAMON
actually, it's a very strange sediment from the season, but I didn't like it at all. They messed up and ruined one of their favorite TV shows. I'm disappointed.
Looked without much interest
I liked it more than average, maybe two episodes
The ending seemed to be good, but most of all I screamed from Sabrina's cosplay to Elizabeth I
WTF? What was that all about?
One joy: aunties, Lilith and Ambrose.
We're all watching Ambrose, and the screenwriters are Brina.
1. Salem -- you weren't enough, but thanks for that.
2. Hilda and Dr. Tse -- I already believed that this was one of the deaths that really happened, like with Dorcas. But no, have a happy life for Aunt Hilda! The sweetest and most beautiful couple in the series.
3. The appearance of a new, rather striking character - Robin.
➖:
1. Lilith -- ✅ Merged.
The pathos, horror, and motives of previous seasons were simply thrown out the window. I hope that in the new season they will somehow rehabilitate you with some intrigues and tricks.
And for some reason, the actress's performance began to limp.
2. Nickname -- ✅ Merged.
He's become a bad, sexy, frisky boy.. I don't even know what to call it.
But just like with Lilith, I'm waiting for new exploits in season 4 (I hope they don't bring Prudence together).
3. Sabrina -- ✅ Merged.
She'd been stupid before, but this was different. Not growing up, but the reverse process.
Special attention to the actress' performance: either my views have changed, so I didn't notice it before, or she's tired of the image this season, but the game is disgusting.
4. The Devil -- ✅ Merged.
The power, the incredible fear of the subjects - everything was buried.
I forgot, but what's Lucifer's motivation anyway? Why did he need to put his daughter on the throne? Tired of editing?
5. The virginity of Harvey and Theo -- ✅Merged.
PS but Prudence is right: if they had killed Blackwood right away, some of the problems would have disappeared. And with Nick, they would have taxied out somehow. But that's a completely different story...
And when he said, "I run fast," I kept saying in my head, "and I glow in the sun." * if you understand what I mean..*
By the way, the question is not so significant, because in this series everyone is having sex with different genders, a number of people, and not only (sex demons), but still: can we assume that Theo has returned to the guise of a girl or that Robin is gay?? Or are these two bi? Or are the topics of the genitals and their interactions not disclosed, but the person himself/his soul/character is important?
I'm confused.
1) Initially, there was a loop: the future Sabrina awakens the real Sabrina, then she goes back in time and repeats everything. But why did this loop start at all? It has no root cause and no one has intervened. Such a move.
2) The logic of the scriptwriters is broken. There's no point in changing places with old Sabrina after defeating the pagans. Because she will wake up no longer in the world after the apocalypse, but in a world where everyone is alive. It will be a completely different scenario, there will be no loop.
3) The fact that, in the end, our Sabrina warned the last Sabrina after defeating the pagans, according to all the laws of the genre and logic, should have led to the fact that our Sabrina should have disappeared, and the last Sabrina would have had to deal with the pagans anew (because it was after). But for some reason, the scriptwriters decided to make her a temporary double. Considering the Hobgoblin Speedster, it all looks like a stupid Flash scenario. It's just a Sabrina Point of some kind.
4) Why were the Devil and Lilith trapped in stone next to Caliban in the last episode, but Caliban was alone in the stone in this episode, and everything was fine with the Devil and Lilith?
All these shoals are, of course, frustrating.
While the series has not started to slide at all, I want the 4th season to be the last, so that it is not stretched over a dozen, but clearly and concentrated.
And if Sabrina teams up with Archie against some evil evil woman, then the whole universe will collapse from the concentration of heroism and moronism.
Of course, after the negative comments, it became a little obvious that the budget was too small, the decorations were repeated, but actually it was still cool!
All these rituals, trips to hell, and prayers to various gods did not have strict, clearly articulated mathematical logic, but, for me, there was an inner meaning and correspondence to fairy-tale and mythological logic.
It was nice to look at the hell with the red carpet, at the whole court circle, which is not explained in any way, but still there is a feeling that everything is right and the way it should be.
Very cool pagans.
It's really cool that Zelda found another source of power-I was so waiting for them to figure it out and finally separate from Lucifer.
Except for the penultimate episode, in which everyone was abruptly killed, which practically spoiled time travel, and made it impossible to worry about the fate of the dead - very cool.
And I'm terribly happy with the ending.
I'll tell you about Nick separately - it didn't seem to me that he was leaked. He has an injury, and he struggled with it, and then he faded into the background because Sabrina broke off contact with him, and we look mostly from Sabrina's point of view. But in general, as far as I was concerned, everything was logical, and the fact that he began to look for the guilty and declared Sabrina guilty at some point was the same.
If the logic doesn't change in the next seasons, then everything is fine.
And I'm still Team Nick.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next season.
I'm the only one who thinks Sabrina is Mary Sue. So she knows all the spells and everything goes nowhere without her. She studied at the academy for the first two episodes. How does she know everything? And the guys all like her. She's worried that Sabrina thinks the aunts won't find out. That is, she understands that she's done some unknown shit, but she hopes everything will work itself out. Friends are nothing without her.
Sabrina the Little Witch seems to be a comedy series, but there was more logic in the episodes than here.
Can someone explain how Sabrina persuaded another Sabrina to rule in Hell? Shouldn't they have the same thoughts, that one part of her wants to rule and the other to be with her family?Or did she divide herself into two parts ??
Yeah. There were such high hopes for Sabrina. And here.
The first one still wants to rule in hell, so she is looking for regalia, trying to seize power. The second one wanted all this too, but when she was caught, when she saw what the city had turned into, what had happened to her family, she no longer thought about hell, but thought about her loved ones. One Sabrina is Sabrina from the past (who still wants power and regalia), the other Sabrina is already Sabrina from the future (with the experience of searching for regalia, their failure, and so on). Something like that.
In general, when it comes to time travel, there is always a paradox, and not always the scriptwriters can gracefully turn it around. At least it's more or less fresh here.
They showed everyone so diligently at the end, as if trying to say, "Look, we haven't forgotten a single storyline." Nothing like that. What's wrong with Dorian's pimples? I'm really worried. They've been poking us with this all season and there's no ending! It's outrageous.
In general, I want to take it all and forget it.
I didn't understand why they needed all this time travel, it seems like everyone has long understood that this is such an unstable topic that we need to think about the story very well, but they won't be able to(
Plus, Sabrina was married to a "Lord" at the age of 16, and she had to choose between the mortal world and the witch world, and before that she was free. There must be some sacred meaning in this number.
The last scene hints to me personally that they will return to Lovecraft's work again. Well, let's see 🤷🏻♀️
The coolest ones this season turned out to be: Theo and Robin, Ambrose.
Well, actually, they made some kind of incomprehensible mishmash of musical, horror, and time travel. The first season was the best, then the series started to go downhill.
And in the end, he was from the present.
I'm much more interested in the relationship between Harvey and Sabrina — they would try to cope with two worlds, to hold the thread that bound them for so many years. and at the end of the series, there's a very sad ending. Harvey is dying because of Sabrina ;)
but everything was fine in the first seasons.
Sabrina is getting downright mad every season. On the other hand, what to take from a teenager - everything is broken, well, oh.
And a kiss from my aunt and mambo
But the last episode is just a kick-ass shit.
That's the moment when Sabrina returned with the silver coins to Judas.
Whatever. Why... logically, she should have just come to hell and said that's it, I won. Why did she have to come back to Judas!?
What did she want to achieve with this?
"Judas, I found them!"
- Well done, Sabrina, keep it up.
- Well, I'm off, I need to declare victory to everyone.
- Yes, Sabrina, good luck, you will be a good queen, write to me how everything went, send me a picture.
Well, it's just nonsense.
When a show starts messing with time, you need to stop watching it.
I'm already silent about the caste of power.
Then everyone in the series forgets that they can resurrect or that they can wring their necks with a wave of their hand. Then they suddenly remembered.
And in order to create a time loop, at least Sabrina somehow had to free herself from the stone, and then jump through time and fix everything.
I'm going to vent my dissatisfaction in the comments to the last doctor....
Oh yes, Dr. C and Hilda!!! <3
Oh, and they made up for it in one episode... There is a feeling that the ending was hastily molded, but it is interesting how everything will unravel in season 4.
I'm sorry Prudence left Ambrose like that. To me, her claim to him sounded the same as Nick's claim to Sabrina. And her brother and sister asked her not to kill Blackwood at all. That is, the claim is about nothing. It's like they just played out the same pattern as they did with Nick for the drama. It's a shame. I'm not looking forward to Sabrina and Nick reuniting at all, because next to her, the guys can't stand it and turn into something else (everyone has PTSD!), but Ambrose's couple\I'm very impressed with Prudence. Prudence has been wonderful this season. (A very beautiful actress, I always admire.)
It's a pity that Satan is completely extinct. And so the actor was chosen, in my opinion, not charismatic enough for this role. A handsome man, yes, but the same Blackwood seems much more charismatic, more domineering, more dangerous. Cool actor (Blackwood), I like watching him. (I actually thought that Blackwood would tell Satan about some ancient horrors, about the egg thing, two strong treacherous Persians would unite, and boom we would get some kind of super tyrant and the fun would begin. But in return, they took revenge on a bunch of kids who were barely in the kitchen at all.)
Caliban also lacks charisma for the prince of hell, but I would like to see him again. I like their interaction with Sabrina, and it just brings something new. The voice is very pleasant.
I want new charismatic characters who would be equal to the main cast. After all, the actors were well chosen, I don't understand what went wrong with Satan and the inhabitants of hell. They deliberately merge strong men, but take charismatic women. There's something unhealthy about feminism here.
Hell and the infernal mummers have been very frustrating all season.
The pagans who were strong enough to fight the coven were miserably merged. The green deity is more like squalor...
I'm not even criticizing, but expressing frustration, because I don't expect much logic from this series. It's just that some things are really hurtful.
P.S. I don't know why, but I'm terribly impressed by Herod xD In the very heart.
- Lucifer wanted his daughter to rule with him, and that's what happened. Then why all these efforts and waste of time? Why is everyone turning against the virgins? They're not mosquitoes, do they have any special blood, do they smell different? "they're just people.
I'm not against tolerance in TV series, movies, games, etc. (since equality is good when it doesn't cross borders), but when it's shoved as brazenly as the most lecherous advertisement, it begins to cause confusion and rejection. Just think about these facts, too lucky coincidences.: Ambrose is bi, Aunt Zelda is bi too (?!), Theo and that guy are the perfect tolerance, Harvey and Rose are the crown of tolerance. And after all, all this was done purely to draw attention either to the problem of minorities or to the minorities themselves. If you draw attention to the problem, I support it, it's a good deed, but if it's purely for the sake of money, I condemn it.
I think the third season is the most boring and predictable. A time loop? in the 21st century? The genre of popadants is now flourishing in books, and rebirths into another life in manga. Enough! Why not come up with something new? Telling the audience how it (the time situation) works through dialogue in the style of: "well, do you remember how it was in the movie Back to the Future? Also here" - why do the creators think that the viewer does not understand how it works?
I didn't cry when the characters died, because it was clear that they would be alive. No, really. It's a template, you just feel it in your gut. Sabrina is commendable as a good actress and tries to work in this role, but her character Sabrina is just a terribly selfish person.
Ambrose: - You didn't complete the task and didn't free yourself, so now there are two of you and... you created a time paradox!
Sabrina: - Cool!
Ambrose: - No! On the contrary! The consequences will be terrible!
Sabrina: - We (with the other Sabrina) got what we wanted! You know, it's a great way out.
Viewer: - Oh, I see. So this world will have potatoes.
Blackwood must be completely crazy, why does he need these monsters? He won't be able to rule them, he'll be left alone and he'll go even crazier.
And why does Sabrina need a crown in hell? She didn't want to hear about it before, and suddenly she stayed voluntarily. What will she do there? Lucifer won't let her reform.
I repeat, the aesthetics of the series are at the highest level. It's very beautiful to watch all this.
But the plot leaves much to be desired. Then she didn't want to be a queen, but now she does. I just got sick of it.
I felt very sorry for my sisters. Both the Spellmans and the three girls. The latter constantly raked in the most. Even though they're bitches, I still feel sorry for them.
It killed me that they were trying to defeat Satan. The most powerful dude, actually. He looks pathetic in the series.
Again, why is there so little Salem? 😂
And so instead of sorting out the completely crazy plot moves and working out the good ones (a clash with the ancients), they stupidly decided to film them all.
And in this spirit, the whole season is galloping along. None of these branches have been completed, and no one has written a script beyond "come on." There is also a sense of haste and a mix of styles in the staging of the scenes: Hilda the spider's naturally creepy makeup and gore are juxtaposed with absolutely fake skeletons, from which the flesh has disappeared, an imperishable gag remains in their mouths and they lie exactly in the same place as decades ago.
And anyway, why can Zelda see the future while traveling through the abyss? How can she take objects from her memories that she has never seen? how does it work in general??? The laws of this world change literally on the fly every time Sabrina speaks: "There must be another way."
Oh, those American teenagers
What is the benefit of this? I just don't understand why the hell they did it.
Why did they develop this strange triangle between Caliban, Sabrina and Harvey in the middle of the series? Why does the whole series just scream that they love each other (it doesn't make sense), and then they're with Rosalyn in the last few minutes? + Sabrina has already burned her candles, why do "jokes" continue after all this and the theme that Harvey and Sabrina should be together? (Just really bombed with this)
Why did everyone forget not only about Salem in the last episode, but also about the brother and sister in the dollhouse? They weren't shown at all (only at the end), why did Ambrose, who was running around with this egg, suddenly forget about it?
The series is interesting to watch, but after watching this season, there are a lot of questions and the aftertaste is as if something was missed, not told and simply forgotten. Yes, some moments remain for the rest of the season, but most of Sabrina's actions are not clear at all. And how she appeared initially was not even shown, how she, sitting in a stone, came to create a "loop" that is not even a loop......
Lilith: Well, I've lost my last hope of power and prosperity in hell.... So now I'm going to come up with the ugliest outfit in the world. 😈😈😈
Why did Prudence so easily kill the god Pan with an ordinary sword?? I don't remember the sword being endowed with any magical powers during the course of the story.
Where did Sabrina come from, freeing Sabrina in the stone?? She refers to the movie "Back to the Future," but in this movie, the characters try their best to avoid meeting themselves, much less talking. There are definitely no self-liberation scenes.
Why did Ambrose save the egg in the apocalypse timeline, but in the one where the end of the world did not come, Blackwood appropriated it?? Ambrose forgot about the egg?!
Lilith got pregnant by the Dark Lord. And that's all she could come up with ((I expected more from her.
The only thing that upset me was the idea of Caliban (I still didn't understand his name, Haliban, Calibat? I don't know) it was very cool, but it was just leaked. He's a bastard, of course, but he offered to rule together, get married, and Sabrina almost agreed, so she was already thinking about it anyway. In general, such a cool man was simply removed, because there are enough hot guys for Sabrina.
Nick's behavior was also upset, even more than Brina's stupidity. He HIMSELF decided to save everyone, he HIMSELF signed up for this torment, Sabrina did not want this to happen, and from the very first day she was looking for a way to save him. And he started blaming her for all his suffering. Excuse me? It was worth adding a little dignity to Sabrina where it was needed, and not as usual.
It's boiling over, I'm sorry :)
Cons: there are a lot of holes in the plot, lack of logic, the characters are vague, poorly designed, the special effects and props are sometimes unnatural, and a lot of unnecessary songs. I felt very sorry for the actors, especially the older generation, when they had to say all sorts of stupid things (like watching Riverdale, by God). Sabrina was the most disappointed, she acted like a little child - selfishly and stupidly, the actress had a terrible wig and makeup all season.
The ending was also leaked, I understand that they needed a touch, but it was enough to stop at the fallen clock. What happened next was a cheap horror.
There are a lot of unanswered questions, and they probably won't give us any answers.
On the plus side, I liked how they killed everyone, showed a post-apocalyptic world, and turned back all time. But even then Sabrina messed up: she forgot about Blackwood and acted in her own way. They don't play with time, and everyone knows it.
The aunts, Ambrose, and Salem are the reason I've made it through the season. Lilith and Lucifer also brightened up the picture.
The series has lost its atmosphere.
I can't believe they're seriously filming something like this and releasing it like, "eat what you have." I think I'll take off one star of the series.
As it is, it's a very bad season with good acting and the squalid scenery of hell.
Why do they have caps in Hell, not clothes; however, this is Hell, why do I wonder at all.
She didn't really understand why Prudence had suddenly turned Ambrose down so abruptly: it wasn't out of self-interest that he had told her not to kill Blackwood ("and then the mouse came in handy"); although, of course, a lot could have been avoided if she hadn't listened to him. Anyway, don't break up Prudence and Ambrose, they're great together.
Harvey, Roz and Theo are just the perfect number this season, in my opinion (not a lot, not a little). It's good that Theo is doing great now, and Robin didn't let him down in the end.
For some reason, I do not trust the eternal morality of Family comes first, because this morality is not universal at all and does not apply to all families. However, the Spellmans are just a surprisingly adequate family that deserves to be "above all else" (let's hope Sabrina has learned this lesson).
I don't understand why everyone started calling Sabrina selfish and childish. She initially did not want to be the Queen of Hell, but the Kings, Caliban and Lilith, swooped in and began to demand that she "fulfill her duties." And you won't send them, because you have to try to free Nick (another thing is that, as it turned out, he didn't appreciate the feat and generally merged as a character). And, by the way, Caliban was the first to start playing by the rules when he stole her crown (again, it's unlikely that a male character would be blamed for such a thing). However, something tells her that the "split" will not be in vain.
Prudence and Ambrose are great this season, Michelle Gomez is wonderful (TWICE as much!), and the aunts are great. I hate musicals (with a couple of exceptions), but I absolutely don't care about inappropriate musical numbers, because Kiernan sings great:)
I liked this season less than the previous ones (still wtf-ing about the time loop); but, okay, let's see what happens next.
1. Why did they make this bunch of witches (magicians?) pagans, and they were presented precisely as pagans, creating a confrontation with the coven if the coven, in principle, did not have its own god. In the episode where they celebrated the lunar holiday, the aunts spoke disparagingly about pagans and their gods, but they themselves rejected Satan and chose to pray to Lilith. So how are they better than the polytheists? in general, this conflict seemed interesting, but it was dragged down to nowhere, also because we were shown some leftovers of pagan gods. Things are pretty weird with the green man.
2. Prudence and Ambrose's breakup looked far-fetched, or so it seemed to me. They showed us all season how they got closer, and at the very end they decided that was enough. :/ I know Prudence is mad at him, but she could have killed Faust, and I don't think Ambrose would have stopped her right there.
3. Sabrina's Santa Barbara with Nick, Harvey and Rose... Well, let's just keep it quiet here, of course, the series is about teenagers and from Netflix, but I want to forget this as soon as possible.
5. Sabrina's character development. in the first part of the season, it went downhill with a quick heat wave, in the second, Sabrina seemed to have returned from the past, but for some reason they prescribed a lot of stupid actions for her anyway, which then caused everything to go through one place. some of them were terribly obvious, like when she gave away the pieces of silver. I don't understand why she's been deliberately made a fool of for so many episodes in a row.
I really love this series for its atmosphere and characters, but there's still work to do on the plot. Most of the mistakes could have been avoided if Sabrina had been given development, rather than leaving her with the same image of a brave, but reckless and arrogant girl from high school.
The Zelda and Marie line 10/10
as I understand it, we're going to have a team of Nick and Prudence against everyone?
and if now we have two stupid, selfish Sabrina, it will be a doubly unsuccessful season:(
1) Why in hell could Sabrina and three mortals just walk calmly along the path? Apart from the monsters that Lilith sent after them, no one attacked them. Like it's not the most dangerous and terrifying place in the universe? Even mortals can just wander around there?
2) Why did Lilith become Sabrina's regent so easily, as if she had no claim to the throne? I expected her to stick sticks in her wheels. But she even helped her.
3) Why are ancient pagans dressed like elementary school students at a summer camp for the Neptune festival? Look at them carefully (not at the main three, but at the extras). Bright blue bathing suits - like everyone had in childhood, some kind of carnival masks, green horns... Is it an ancient evil? When this crowd gathered, there was only a feeling of some kind of absurdity and amateur activity... And they should have caused ancient horror ...
4) The same question about the demons of hell. Look at the masks of the two main demons. He had a strong feeling that his ridiculous rubber mask was going to come off. Was it specially done so that all the villains look not authentic, but cartoon-like? Carnival.
5) Why were the twins hidden in the cabin? Why did Marie teach them something? So that they appear in the last frame once?
6) Did you suffer from a lack of magical power all season, but then the cheerleaders danced once and the whole coven had magical power at once? What kind of nonsense was that?
7) Satan has been freed, but don't you think that he is somehow very calm? Did you really punish no one for your overthrow? That is, he seems to be angry, but he doesn't seem to be. He didn't take revenge on anyone. He stands there, does nothing, smiles. There was only one demon from hell who had nothing to do with it at all.And one student of the academy (
8) If the devil is back, why does he want to put Sabrina on the throne? Why can't he rule hell himself? Is he incapacitated?
10) Why did the Queen of Hell dress up like she was at a masquerade? What motivates this style?
11) When Lilith is running from Satan, she says: "The only place I can hide from him is with a devout Christian woman." According to the Christian canon, Satan cannot approach a truly believing, righteous Christian, especially one who prays - God protects him. But in the series, Satan calmly enters the teacher's house and nothing bothers him. That is, no righteous force scared him away. Why does the dark magic power work in the series, but the light "magic" (like Christian) power does not? Or is everything here as usual - there is Satan, there are witches, there is dark magic, but God and all that does not exist? How is this so? If one thing works, then the other must work. The archangel's attack on hell was even mentioned, it's amazing...
12) All the characters in the series are indestructible. At any moment, a dead positive hero can be buried in the Spellman's garden, you can easily find a way to turn back time (Ambrose has read ALL the books over the years, but did not understand what to do, and Sabrina guessed in a second, of course....), you can put the mark of Cain-then the character will be generally indestructible. I love the characters in Sabrina, I would feel sorry for all of them, but... it turned out to be some kind of Disney. Dorcas was killed because of the filming of the actress in another series....
14) The story with Nick - I won't say anything at all. What was that and why?Why did they quarrel? For him to get together with Prudence? It's so boring! And why is Ambrose alone again?
+++The only thing I liked was thanks for not setting Sabrina up with Harvey. That would just be a failure...
Now the most important thing is not to forget all this before the new season. 😄
- Let's show the pagans and instead of a full-fledged conflict, they will just grin angrily and sit in their park, and in the final we will unwind them all in 5 minutes.
- Turn the calculating, cunning and ambitious Blackwood into a mad fanatic.
- Let's turn Lilith's character into a supply for Sabrina and not use Michelle Gomez's talents in any way.
- Let's introduce into the history of the cool witches of the exiles, so that they are all killed off-screen.
- We'll be watching for a whole season to see if Roz and Harvey have sex. OR IT WON'T HAPPEN.
- Constantly remind about the threat of Lucifer's release and how he will take terrible revenge on everyone. He got free, and for the most part, nothing happened.
- And let Sabrina defeat everyone and save her family and the world, not because she showed dedication in a critical situation or otherwise showed her best side, but because there is a grand piano with time travel.
I also liked it. The mighty God Pan, who could only be bypassed from behind and stabbed with a sword.
like this, but Sabrina, as always, did a lot of things, where without it
Ehhh, we won't see crossover, they say it was planned for the fifth season.
I hope next season will be as exciting as the last two episodes of this one. 😉
Separately:
1. Zelda and Mambo, I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT SO MUCH! 😍
2. Hilda and Dr. C, I'm glad that everything is fine with them! 🥰
3. It's a pity Prudence is now without her sisters. It's a pity, Nick, that all that's left of the character is the name and the image, but there's no insides... 😒
4. Ambrose was very happy this season, handsome! 😎
5. Lilith and Miss Wordwell-top (or do I already love Michelle Gomez so much that the image doesn't matter, is she always gorgeous?) 🔝
6. The trio of beloved friends and Robin-they are very cute, but it's like they've been pushed back to the background this season... 🤔
7. Brina, I love her. BUT WHAT ARE YOU DOING, HONEY!? I wanted her to choose one world after all, eh.
Waiting for season 4
That's all, thanks for your attention.
They really hurt(9((
I didn't like the way Dorcas was leaked at all. I believe that if you merge one of the sisters, then you should merge all of them. It's not like Agatha and Prudence are going to go everywhere together, and Dorcas is like that.: I didn't understand, I'm sorry.
:
Freak out, get scared, cry, get excited, get angry, and freak out again. Well, the most important thing is to be interested in what will happen next.
Yes, Brina's messed up again, but she's such a character. He does not change himself or his character.
Just fine!
"you're going to laugh."...Morgenstein
in 2021 is really funny...When each iron contains this word
Overall, the season came out a little weak compared to the previous ones, but overall it's not bad.
I was expecting something darker, not a golden ball gown and an 18th-century wig.
It's funny that the writers of the series about the Satanic cult are so soft on the Persians.
. I'd rather see how he existed there alone for so long, of course Sabrina wouldn't have been able to do anything without him.
It is impossible not to say about little Zee, I think the coven will become the strongest with her.
Ambrose, thanks, just thank you.
I sincerely feel sorry for the prophetic sisters(
The writers are probably the same as Sabrina in one of the first episodes of this season: "I don't want to write a normal story, I want to go out with my boyfriend!"
Py.sy. I'm waiting for these burning farts to realize that this is a very logical couple. Two strong women found each other, and one also had an experience with a disgusting misogynist tyrant. Why is it surprising when Zee immediately falls in love with a woman with such a powerful energy that does not infringe on her, but rather admires her? Unclear...
Okay, this isn't a dog's dream, but time loops are also a platitude of platitudes. Surely one of the commentators wrote above that Sardine did not fall into the past, but into the "Last Of the Ace", because all these zombie plant people inspired it...
No one died! Wow! What a surprise! (not really). I mean, one of the main characters. We're not going to consider Prudence's sister the main character, are we? Won't we? That's nice.
Actually... What was this season all about? In order to bring Nick back from Hell in one episode, then drain him in two or three episodes, and at the end give us another Sardine? Like we weren't enough on our own?
Or are the creators hinting that Sardine has a schism and a split personality, and therefore her actions are not explained by logic?
You know, I've given this series a four-star rating for two seasons. If the last season is the same as this one (or, God forbid, even worse), then this assessment will be shaken.
