Адаптация настолько шикарная, что я даже стал сомневаться то ли я читал. Пришлось проверить. Да я читал именно эту новеллу и она мне все также не нравится. Но аниме получилось шикарное, назло книге.
Девочка оказалась потомком Сунь Укуна, великой обезьяны из "Путешествие на Запад".
