The series does not fit the season finale. Fits the one that precedes it, but not otherwise.

Most likely, because of the epidemic, it was impossible to shoot the rest, and as in many TV series now, the last edited series is put as the finale. Sad... I think it was intended to show how Kane would stand on the side of good and the vile dude from Redrock would be put in jail.

Sorry for the patient, but not sorry for Kane. After all, it's all his fault. If he had informed whom he should, from the very beginning about the virus, and not hushed up, he would not have had to be distracted by another operation and he would have been able to fully focus on his ex.
