Every second something happens, action packed, as if they're afraid that if they slow down, people will lose interest and stop watching. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of watching - it's not that it's not interesting, it's just that this continuous stream doesn't give me a break at all : with And that's it? Is this the end of Arcadia? I hope they'll add more episodes, I don't want to say goodbye. Jim returned to human form, was a little upset, actually, because he had to sacrifice her to win the war (and that's the right idea, I think) Dux is a new crash, yes
@maelgon: This is good, because they announced that this was the "final" part of the trilogy - and here's the end: all the "good" powerful magicians died, and the "bad" ones are in full health looking for (found) fleeing heroes...
@Voider: Yes, initially it was only about three TV series, but appetite comes with eating, as you know. :) Basically, del Toro is so excited about the success of this animated universe on Twitter that I wouldn't be surprised if the announced film later acquires a couple of sequels - or some other new stories.
I didn't like it. It's called "Wizards," but it's about trolls again, and there's only one wizard. The plot is silly and uninteresting. Especially if you remember the gorgeous Hunter, it's a shame. The authors were supposed to tell about this millennial janitor, his life for all time. Yes, the same magic service shop is already intriguing! Instead of an original series, we got something that parasitizes the old characters.
@Кызюавка: It's all one universe of Arcadia. It seems to me that there were so many old characters because the creators of the series intertwined all the characters from this universe very much this time, and because of this, it was much more believable and it seemed and it was clear that this was one universe. Personally, I really liked it. I agree, there really are a lot of old heroes (even the minor trolls from the common people were the same as in season 1 of troll hunters) I'd really like to know more about wizards, too. But I also liked what they did, I love the action.
Well, there's more action in this series than in Troll Hunters and three from heaven combined 😄 2/3 of the series is a powerful mochilovka)) I came across the series and watched it with great pleasure. We are waiting for a full-length cartoon with a sequel:) And we hope that it will not be the last (no matter what the creator of this universe says)
It's very, very weak, especially against the background of the previous two series about Arcadia, In which we were given time to get to know the characters, both positive and negative, their goals, values, and characteristics.
And here, well, here's a wizard's apprentice. What do we know about him? About nothing, except that he plays the guitar. Whereas much more was known about Jim and the company, as well as the aliens from the second part, because there was a (gradual!) the revelation of the characters, which no one really got here.
Oh, well, we also know about the student that he can do magic, and in the first episode it seems like he's not very good at magic for 9 centuries, and then suddenly BAM and he becomes a very powerful sorcerer. Without any training with Merlin, he probably just fed the power out of thin air. And Jim's (and Claire's and Tobby's) skill in Trollhunters grew gradually, which was interesting to watch.
And the antagonists here are strange. Who are all these people? What do they want? It's not very clear. It's just evil evil in cool villainous costumes and they want the apocalypse. Why would they want him? I don't know, maybe they're just bored.
No, I'm not saying that Ganmar and this alien dude from the second part (I forgot the name) also had some kind of super-original motivation, but at least there were interesting secondary villains, and here everything is kind of boring and about nothing. Even a cat doesn't save (what? Yes!)! And there are almost no jokes.
In general, I'm not very happy. And yes, if it was a separate series on its own, then I might have started and quit. And because the previous parts were dear to me, I watched this part in its entirety, without ceasing to compare with the previous two, and the comparison is by no means in favor of the third.
In general, there is one simple rule that is constantly violated for some reason. No need to visualize the legends. That's why they're legends, to give food to the imagination. And where imagination is at work, animation artists have nothing to catch. It always turns out not as interesting as it seemed. Also, he did not understand the story of the MacGuffin, he was safely hidden in the staff, no one even knew where he was after Merlin's death. Why would you ruin everything instead of just hiding the staff? Well, besides the fact that I wanted to move the plot somehow, but I didn't want to think. In general, it's not bad, but this. Better than aliens, but much weaker than trolls.
This is my first series about Arkady, I've heard about hunters before, but I didn't get around to it... and nothing at all about the third season ... this season went off with a bang, there was a lot of snot, a lot of action, they were slightly overloaded with a large number of characters, their history and motivation are not clear, I hope they explain a lot in previous seasons... this trio of demigods has gone too far, just mega-modern Persians... and judging by the final texts, will there be a project about the KINGS of Arcadia? Or is it just a fantasy
In fact, the twist of Jim ceasing to be human is one of the most powerful in all of Arcadia, because without it he wouldn't have been able to win and all that. And here, he just wanted to become a stone and tear Claire - it's like that somehow...I don't know, maybe I'm biased, but they could have beaten me better if I needed to regain my human form so badly.

I don't regret watching everything, great
