So, they gave birth to Evan only so that he would become a donor for his brother... How hard it was for Baku to find out about this. Anyone in his place would be incredibly hurt. For me, this episode became one of those where, despite the fact that we were shown Buck's past, I was still worried whether he would survive. He got into too many scrapes... Although if you think about it, it hasn't changed with age 😆
@Elena_notDeaD: as for me, this is more interesting than adoption and well explains why Buck has such a need to be a firefighter and help people, and why he feels so lonely
@ToriWolf_: also this phrase of his mother "you were born to save people", even if he did not save his brother, but he saves other people and so significantly showed that he saved the last victim, in short, in the spirit of the series)))
@Avesscita: from the very first episode. starting with sex addiction at the beginning of the first season, then heartbreak after Abby. he never left. The most severe injuries manifest themselves in different ways.
@Avesscita: the essence is the same. the trauma that he could not realize since childhood led him to drama in adulthood, through the series it was shown how he was going through, due to the fact that he did not have a relationship, because he considers himself lonely, goes to a psychologist. it would be strange if all this was not explained. and he did well that in general he did not give up and was cheerful in all situations
@fb1023424: You didn't get the gist of my comment. I did not ask how, the reason is clear to me, you will be surprised, but I also watched this series. I'm interested in this subtle, stunningly prescribed fracture, when the Tank turned from a simple hijacker of a fire truck for fucking into a complex, thoughtful character. I like how slowly and subtly the screenwriters brought the drama I'm talking about to life. That's why there's a difference between drama and trauma.
@fb1023424: By the way, this well explains why Buck fell for Abby so much, this is such a figure of a loving mother, which he never had, so he did not like girls of the same age as much as Abby.
@Avesscita: Well, maybe we're just talking about different things. because I saw Buck's drama from the first season, from the first episode. I don't associate people with addiction with funny people and simple hijackers.
@fb1023424: Have you seen the boy who was born to save his brother since the first episode? Well, you're wildly perceptive. However, judging only by the sexual adventures of the characters, Sex and the City is a psychological thriller, and Lucifer should cause tears of worry for his broken mind.
@Avesscita: for that matter.... yes, Buck was always cheerful and cheerful, and the screenwriters did not turn him into a depressive dramatic person. He had been seeing a psychologist for the last few episodes, and Maddy decided that suddenly he had to find out the truth. judging by your standards, the series, in principle, could easily do without this series. but it so happened that there is a similar episode about each character. and there was no drama for him - a simple misunderstanding with his parents all his life.
I liked the inserts about childhood very much and the actors were picked up similar and pleasant, I would have watched more episodes about their past. In general, we revealed the secret before the series, but it didn't hurt, anyway, the series is tense and interesting. Somehow, it's even unusual to return to the usual series without the intrigue and expectation of a series about Buck
Who cried again throughout the series? Of course I am. The series and the disclosure of the stories of the characters are among the best and help to better understand the actions of the characters. It's amazing how people with such difficult life stories gathered in 118. I think that forgiving my parents for such an act is a hard and bold step, which I would hardly have decided on, but Buck decided to forgive all the insults and it's brave of him. Maddie and Buck's relationship has reached a new level for me and I'm so glad that these two have each other.
"Buck, saving people is your destiny" A great series! I sit and roar😭 Although it was already clear what was being hidden from Buck, this did not spoil the impression at all...From the flashbacks, I didn't quite see what Buck was talking about, but it was clear that they didn't have a close relationship. Although there was clearly overprotection, at least in childhood. I was unpleasantly struck by how Maddie's parents reproached her for telling Buck the truth. Parents can be understood, on the one hand, grief happened to them, but to exclude a child from the family as if he did not exist and forbid the eldest daughter to talk about him is beyond the limit. It was as if they tried to push the living children into the background...Locked in their grief, just like Maddie said. Maddie was especially sorry when Buck turned away from her(although in fact-not for anything!). He should have taken a break and digested everything, and not make his pregnant sister feel guilty and worry. When the truth about the failed escape was revealed, it became even more insulting for Maddie. Every time I look at them with Chimney and think-how great it is that they are together. She needs such a reliable person) I'm glad that Buck was able to let go of all the insults, I hope now he will feel much easier at heart. The main thing is that the parents also finally reconsider their attitude to Buck and Maddie, and do not disappear from their lives. At least they took the first steps) During the fire, I was afraid that it would not be possible to save the person, and how timely the help came! Buck is a real hero!) PS I understand that the series was dedicated to Buck and Maddie, but how I squeaked with joy from a tiny moment with Buck and Eddie🤗 😍thank you to the creators for adding this scene!
Let's just note how not only Buck has grown as a character, but also how Oliver has played out. In the first episodes, he seemed, for me personally, an ordinary handsome man, I did not try to hope for a great acting game. And in this episode, just drop your head. Bravo.
Buck Begins' expectations are fully justified, it was worth the wait.
In general, I love all the dramatic scenes with Oliver in every season - he plays them out so realistically and emotionally that even thoughts do not arise about the reality of what is happening
Of all the origin series, this one is the best. Buck is the most beloved character. He has changed and grown the most. And he didn't change at the same time.
It is both a wonderful and sad series. It was interesting to look at Buck's formation and his search for himself, as well as Maddie and her youth and difficult married life. In general, I was very worried about Buck, because in his condition I thought that he would put himself in mortal danger. Buck's parents can also be understood - the loss of a child is scary and Buck did not make their lives easier, but constantly found adventures and dangers, but on the other hand, it is wrong to keep such a secret. Children, even if they are small, feel everything. I really hope that the truth, as well as reconciliation with parents, will help Baku in his therapy with a psychologist.
What could be more terrible than realizing that not only your parents don't like you, but you were actually born for spare parts as a donor for your beloved child, not parents, but monsters. It makes my heart ache 😭😭😭
Please explain to those who understood: how old was Baku when (as I understand it) they tried to give his bone marrow for Brother D? Or did they take a sample, but it didn't come to the point? I could have gotten into an unsuccessful translation of words. I don't understand it.
Bone marrow can be taken at any age, umbilical cord blood is also taken from newborns, it has similar properties to bone marrow. So it was all done in the first months of Buck's life. But the bone marrow did not take root, and because of this, the cancer returned and D. died.
I'm roaring. Excellent character growth over the seasons.. How he had changed, how he had become, his relationship with Maddie. Wonderful! The tank is just amazing, I love it ❤ Oliver played all the scenes perfectly, it's just that love is great)
@anazzlova: I stand in solidarity with you. The series is just fire. I was crying again, And Buck is just my love, Such a gorgeous character and such a great actor.
Just like my sister's keeper, only in the male version
You promise?
I promise.

— I promise.
