No, well done, of course, this is how the series ends before a two-month break. It's not Luthor who's the villain here, and it's not Edge, but the writers. When young Clark picked up the red crystal, I was sure it was kryptonite, and now there will be ATM robberies, a leather jacket and a motorcycle, and stuff like that. And he just "selfishly" moved out of Smallville. Well, or it's not red kryptonite, but he's an egoist for the same reasons as earthly teenagers. Although if the title of the next episode is not about the twins, but about Clark himself, maybe they will show us further how he got into trouble after leaving Smallville. It would be a beautiful metaphor about what teenagers from small towns do when they escape from strict parental supervision for the first time.
@cultigen: It's not kryptonite at all. This is the key (or data warehouse) that the boys found in the ship in the basement of the barn, and this key must be inserted into a slot in the Fortress of Solitude, which Clark did in the series when he dragged Jordan there. Another question is, what the fuck was it to make it such a bright color. Perhaps to make it different from those in the Mysteries of Smallville.
@cultigen:an admirer of Smallville is immediately visible))) I remember the leather jacket and all that - he did it at the beginning of season 3 and just there was Morgan Edge performed by Rutger House, it seems
A very cheerful episode. We have tied up several interesting storylines, I hope that they will be competently revealed during the course of the series. Lex is impressive, there is some kind of alternative view from the scriptwriters that we have not seen before, I don't know yet if this is bad or good, but it is certainly interesting to look at such a Lex. So Jonathan let off his steam, I wonder how soon his powers will show and whether they will show at all? The writers clearly decided to postpone this moment for the most interesting thing in the series. Such a seed should be done at the end of the series before a two-month break, well, you can't!
I liked Jonathan's face when he opened the box. - But Dad, it's empty. A typical generation waiting for something like a new iPhone or car keys.))))))
I like that Soups does not cheat on himself. Yes, he put out fires in the fields, put out someone's house or barn, but flew through it and through the silo, blew them to hell, and flew away. Let the owners be happy when they return home from the fair))) And yes, when the guy with the powers self-destructed, Clark did not even think to return to the basement to a suspicious installation (similar to a converted MRI) to find out what the hell it was, and better to destroy it. No, he was lying on Lois's lap, discussing with her what Edge and his "doggie" were doing))
And so, the series pleases with the atmosphere, the relationship of the brothers, the good moments in the Kent family. It's interesting to see Clark's interpretation of youth here.
@Oliverell22: I think any generation would expect to see at least something in a... uhm box! Ahah)) I mean, seriously, giving an empty box ? I was also a little taken aback when it turned out to be a whole , huge , magnificent nothing
Hmm.. 30 minutes. Soups chases the enemy for 3-4 minutes. And all this in the night. I can't make out a damn thing. Here's all the action and all the superheroics for the whole series. This is a series about Superman vashumasha....
@GramatikAnn: he flew with him to the high layers of the atmosphere, where the air is discharged, so that he calmed down and turned off. Then in the kitchen scene, Clark says that he was sent to a super secret camp for children with superpowers. Something like this.

I felt sorry for Jonathan when it happened on the phone. A strange woman (who was almost killed by Edge's man) who decided not to disclose this attack. Clark's teenage flashbacks with Martha are interesting. I do not know why, but I did not expect the large-scale consequences of red kryptonite. I sympathize with Sarah with what is happening in her family. The harvest festival is fun. It's sad that Derek died with strength. Fighting at night seems logical to me. Moreover, the people from the festival did not pay attention to the explosion in the sky. I hope we'll find out soon who this Luther is. Morgan Edge still seems like a muddy type. A very touching scene with the opening of the bench in honor of Martha Kent. Jordan and Sarah are cute. Perhaps it's good that I'm watching the series now, considering how it ended, there's a little more than 1 month and 1 week left until the next one.
I liked the moment when Clark, having heard a conversation on the phone, immediately rushed to find out what was going on without delay or words.
So far, everyone involved in the series is doing very well (adjusted for CW budgets). When it was announced, I was somewhat skeptical, knowing these Superman and Lois only from a couple of Supergirl episodes and crossovers. But excellent work with the actors, family chemistry, dialogues of living people, the atmosphere of Smallville, an intelligent and rather romantic interpretation of Superman "under 40" quickly dispelled doubts. Except that the line with the alternative Luthor still looks alien, but hopefully this can be corrected in the future. We also picked up a great melody for the screensaver - every time I catch a little goosebumps and I want to sing along in tune.

But the transitions look very cool, in the best traditions of arrows!)
Are we sure this dark-skinned Captain Luthor is Lex? Because he still doesn't seem to have been called by name.
Smallville is already suffering from poverty, and Superman and other people with abilities do not take care of property at all :)
