the actress playing GG is still causing vague sensations, but the rest of the cast looks very organic.
The references, even in the very vile and cruel deeds of her colleagues, pleased her. Bill, this latest victim, her mother - all this fits seamlessly into the world of the series.
The actress who was taken on the role of Clarice is beautiful to the point of outrage. She is organic, vaguely similar to Foster: some manner of speaking, holding her face, some of her movements are clearly inspired by the film.
Rarely when the series pleases with the first series, I hope that they will continue the same way. It's a bit slow, but telling us in detail about Clarice and how she takes her place. A place she deserves.
The references to the original are good. They didn't even forget about the letters.
A separate plus in the piggy bank to the actress who plays Clarice, for the southern accent that Jodie Foster asked in the film. We will evaluate further, with the release of the next series, how successful the hit and continuation of the original character will be.
Everything suits me, at the moment. I will recommend it to fans of original films to watch. But, e, the first case is a contract murder. Somehow the impression was blurred, I thought they would start right away with a hot one: with a new serial killer and an exciting investigation for several episodes.
Plus, the scene with the melee of Clarissa and the specialist seems unlikely. Of course, the FBI trains excellent specialists, but once, and Clarissa laid (presumably) an agent of the special services?)
I understand that this is all my inflated expectations, the series is not about Hannibal at all — but I wanted exquisitely confusing mindgames and ambiguous ethical dilemmas.

The shooting did not go far from Criminal Minds. Perhaps the series and the actress will still be revealed, but the pilot is weak for such a primary source.
The funniest and most improbable is the "fight" scene: the specialist has a bunch of knives at hand, probably, and has his own (he could just take it off quietly, and not fight with him). It's the same with Clarissa - instead of strangling her, I could just stab her, the Scriptwriters really don't have knives at hand. If it goes like this, it will be closed after the first season.

In general, it was not boring to watch. The investigation is fascinating, but to confidently say that it is serial is somehow strange. I liked Clarissa, I'm sorry for her. She is under such pressure, and the FBI is mocked, which causes sadness and anger. Maybe it seemed to me alone that the moments with photographers for some reason reminded me of the beginning of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, where there was also a moment with photographers. The comparison may be strange.
I hope it will be even more interesting in the future.

This is a separate ordinary detective series that stole the character's name and a few events from the hit to attract an audience.

С киношной Клариссой она ни в какое сравнение не идёт. Это кто угодно, но только не Кларисса.
Если сравнивать с другим сериалом "Ганнибал", то этот сериал ему не то что уступает, он и рядом не стоит.
Хороший сериал должен "брать тебя в заложники" с 1 серии (бывают и исключения), чего не случилось в данном случае. Удовольствия от увиденного я не получил, но ещё пару-тройку серий (возможно даже весь сезон) просмотрю, чтобы составить окончательное мнение.
