@NotItemName: Yes, I agree, Op can be art, often Op spoilers the plot or even shows a performance unrelated to the plot. That's good for those who make a story Op, but do not show characters who were not represented.
Op and Ed take away the timing of the series, so they are usually skipped after one viewing. There are exceptions, but rarely where you don't want to skip.
