A good series, probably the best of Fox, it's a pity that they are closing. Dr. Kershaw is probably the brightest maniac in the entire series. However, such miracles are observed throughout the series. Assumptions and conventions are, of course, necessary, but here the whole series is a big convention
@treuglyash: in general, as for the ending, mb, since there will be no season 3, it was worth putting a beautiful point on this spiritual escape, but apparently the authors want Malcolm, as many years ago, to face a difficult moral choice: to catch his father or let him go, to help escape and close the hellstatt of childhood and unrequited feelings guilt. But then everything will be easier and Martin will just be killed.
@treuglyash: the house is by the pond, obviously there is a pier there. I was pumping paralytics, maybe the action just ended..even earlier. Only Martin was still tied up, we were just shown how he tried to get free. Plus, Vivien's plan didn't include Malcolm, but she had to control everything, she just couldn't pass by and leave him in the warehouse. This operation is done clearly, but not for a long time..maybe further actions are needed later, but the Surgeon himself will cope with helping his son. It is interesting, of course, that he took his son with him, but it was not a little influenced by the fact that Martin said to run.. the fact that the legs are in wounds.. well, he has not forgotten how to walk, and a stressful situation makes him overcome the pain and go forward. It was more important for Martin to escape than to be shot. Some run with bullets in their legs, with broken legs they run as long as they can.. and here the consequences of the operation are small, the wound will heal later. It's strange, of course, how he managed to drag Malcolm away in his arms and leave unnoticed..but still the series
@treuglyash: that's how the whole series is stuffed with such conventions, how Capshaw got out of the blocked medical center, how Malcolm fell into the elevator shaft, how Dany took two steps to call and didn't hear that Malcolm was running and yelling. And this is just the first thing that came to mind, there are 2-3 similar moments in each series))
This is often the situation in TV shows and I am always surprised by their behavior. You have been working with a person for years, using his mind and catching criminals, but as soon as the case touched him, there was some kind of emotional involvement and that's it! we don't believe you, go home and rest, you're talking nonsense and so on and so forth. And at least some kind of credit of trust can be given to him? Why is there such distrust at once, as if he always turned out to be wrong during your joint work?
@vin: the heroes are infuriated by this, in fact. Malcolm, in principle, constantly has to prove to them that he is competent and right. Why were they hired, I ask. To give work, and then pat on the head and do everything differently? Mind you, it's not the first time they quarrel, it's not the first time Malcolm is told to go home and sit quietly.. time after time he proved that he was worthy to work with them, time after time he proved that he was smart and capable of solving cases. But no, we need to triple the drama!
it was a little annoying that Malcolm solved the Capshaw for one or two, it seems to be the main villain of the season, you could have broken your head for decency.

The moment at the very beginning, when Catherine Zeta-Jones talks to the cop who stopped her at night, she looks so much like an anaconda from the corresponding horror movie that it's creepy, the cop is talking to a talking snake. Old age is not a joy, or it's a problem with plastic surgery.
Tin, to close the series when such a move went. But, I must admit, the writers themselves are to blame, half of the season was some kind of incomprehensible burden. Oh, I'll miss you anyway, I really like Tom Payne in this role.

Доктор Кэпшоу поразительная женщина, конечно. Мы с ней примерно одной комплекции, я свою бабушку лежачую с трудом могла с боку на бок перевернуть, а она, знаете ли, в разы меньше доктора Уитли. Кэпшоу же сумела одна здорового мужика вытащить из багажника, переболеть, посадить в кресло, поднять с пола, переложить на кровать... Потом вытащила бесчувственного Малькольма из машины, затащил его в подвал пройдя несколько лестниц, уложила на койку и ей ещё хватило сил позаботиться об эстетики, красиво расстегнуть ему рубашку, а до этого самой нарядиться в платье и танцевать. Да она чудо женщина! Какой комплекс /синдром героя? У неё все отлично! С такими способностями и силищей богатырской с учётом комплектации, можно и не убивать людей.
(Не смотря на все эти сценарные упущения, очень жаль, что закрыли сериал, я бы и дальше закрывала на эти условности глаза)
Очень-очень жаль, что сериал решили закрыть. Отличный сериал! А серия! Мне нравится, что посмотрев эту серию складывается положительное впечатление о Хирурге и мысли « Его жалко! Хочется посочувствовать« и в тоже время обрубаешь их и напоминаешь себе, что он серийный убийца. Не смотрела ещё 13 серию но есть подозрения, что они скомкают все в ней. Грустненько.
Такая сильная сцена в конце. Казалось, что Мартин сбежит, но не хотелось верить, что бросит сына. И так было приятно увидеть пустой подвал, и счастливого свободного Мартина в конце, с сыном. Хотелось бы, чтобы им дали насладиться последними моментами вместе... Иначе будет очень печальный финал.
