They finally met, it was just great, after so much time, 5 years if I counted correctly. It's a long way from a simple cannon fodder of the 86th to an experienced and respected military man. Shin and Louise deserve to be happy.
What a fantastic, coolly directed series this is! I often caught my breath watching it (and not only during action scenes). Ishii Toshimasa, Yamamoto Kouta, Sawano Hiroyuki and the rest of the gods from the staff are great fellows, thank them very much. Lena meets with Shin and the rest of the guys on March 20, 2150, and the series ended at 12:00 on March 20 in Japan. The delay accidentally created a very interesting parallel. And now, please announce the second season. Although it turned out to be a complete story without him, but still announce it, please.
@Shikisen_Hishune: They say that these 23 episodes included the entire first volume of ranobe, but at the moment there are, like, five of them, so suddenly the anime will give a boost to new sales and the announcement will not take long.
At first it seemed that the first part was much more emotional than the second, but the last episodes shook the whole soul out of me again. I really wanted to see Lena and the guys finally see each other!! My favorite, definitely!
One of the few titles that I leave feeling sad because this is the end and at the same moment a continuation would be superfluous. Everything is great, I really liked it!
An incredibly bright and life-affirming finale. A very strong title that raises important social, political, psychological and moral issues, a story about the value of historical and military memory, about humanity and perseverance, about the power of the human spirit. I cried in the last few minutes, while laughing with the heroes, and I couldn't help but smile) Involuntarily, I remember all the characters that we were introduced to during the viewing, especially the details like that Daiya found Kitty in Anju's hands, and how Kaye blabbed that Shin did not want to write reports, and I want to hear a Haruto-style joke. And for some reason I didn't have the words for that episode, but after watching the title to the end, I still want to write somewhere that Lekka was very strong. But these are all tears of relief and joy.. and thanks, actually.
It seems to me that this series will even make a stingy person cry. If the man under 30 was moved. Very strong anime - more even in the dialogue part than in the action. I really hope that there will be a sequel, although it is unlikely, the ending is gorgeous no matter how.
I always look at mechs with reluctance. But this title is very far gone. Maybe partly because the mechs are not humanoid in appearance here. Well done for not being cheap at the fight. But in peaceful scenes, static backgrounds are not uncommon. The first part is tough, merciless, breathes despair and sadness. Unfortunately, colors and immortality were added to the second one. In general, it is very good. No wonder the series is in the top ten in its seasons.
A masterpiece! I never rate a series until I have watched everything that has been released at the moment, but here I have without hesitation slapped "5" already episodes on the 4th-6th. The best thing I've watched in the last year for sure. This anime needs to be continued, absolutely! I hope he's doing well with the ratings, God forbid they'll shut him down!
Great anime. I can't even remember when I've watched something so exciting. The whole second season was waiting for the moment of their meeting and was afraid that none of the squad except Shin would survive, but I am very glad that everyone survived. I don't even know if it's worth continuing for a third season. I really want to continue, but I'm afraid that they wouldn't spoil it because from episode 1 to the end of season 2, in my opinion, this is a masterpiece.
