I read it 9-10 years ago and I agree with the first comment. I definitely have to reread it, because I thought that when I watched it, everything would come back to me, but in the end I don't remember anything of what I saw 😕
I think "I don't remember" first of all because in the book the actions took place in the early 2000s, and here our years are already, everything is completely different, anyway
Well, I read it now, there was no such thing) there was a girl Lena, but then he took her too. And in general, he is rich not because of his wife's parents, but because of his own, and he does not work like hell where and by whom, but as a journalist. In general, only some small details from the book are taken)
@sky__wonder: there is an explanation at the end) Well, it's true, there's not much point in shooting in the 20s about zero Moscow, everything has changed too much
The buzz, every frame, the only thing that Mirkina, of course, I saw completely different. But Bikovic fits in, it's already pleasing. Lyuba Aksenova is beautiful!
Very, very good. I've been reading for a long time, but here it's very "motivated", which, however, does not upset me. Mirkin seemed different to me, but Bikovich fit in perfectly, I think. I'm looking further, definitely!
Such a strange feeling that you are watching something very ideologically outdated, crusty, as if the TV series "Club" was suddenly turned on. There's also a soundtrack that makes your teeth ache. Such a thing. If there's anything to look at here, it's Lyuba Aksenova.
He bribed the castes, Aksenov in particular. I haven't read the book, but for the first episode it seemed like I turned on the 2010 TV series. 😅 It was unexpected to see Sokolovsky here.
The book was super, and both the first and second. The series, to put it mildly, did not impress at all. It is very similar to the fact that they tried hard to adapt to modern conditions and the audience of a new generation, but it turned out what it turned out. Alas. It would be better if they took it off by the book, and not all this.
What happens to sound in modern movies? The actors mumble, whisper, chew during the dialogues, then the soundtrack begins to scream. It is impossible to watch at a comfortable volume. I wanted to turn on subtitles, but there are none))) Of course, no one even thought about people with disabilities…
That's right. You make it louder so that you can make out their tambourine, and then the soundtrack cuts in sharply and the car roars that the walls tremble. Well, why can't you level the sound 🤦🏻♀️
I really liked the female characters. especially Akinshin and Tolstoganov. Sokolovsky surprised me. otherwise, it is not clear yet, but it is intriguing.
I'm watching the second series with Akinsheva and for the second time how her wife is being cheated on( It even made me sad. I am completely satisfied with the cast, but it is not quite clear yet, so we look further))
After "sweet life", "kept women", "unscrupulous" and similar Russian TV series, this one already seems somehow typical. I didn't see anything that surprised me somehow.
From the first minutes, as Milosha showed, I thought damn, it reminds me of someone, with eyes and audacity. I remembered, he reminded me of a young Mickey Rourke.🥰
I didn't read it, I started watching it because of a couple of actors and actresses I know. But Chet didn't go in, she didn't even finish it. Maybe I'll give you a chance later and take a look.
It looks interesting, but still the book was published in 2008, before the famous financial crisis, and in 14 years a lot has changed in society, I would say that the series was too late. The same Duhless came out with a smaller gap in the film adaptation from the book (2012 and 2006 respectively) and therefore looked somehow more truthful, you can also because of the solid foundation in the plot from "99 francs".
I don't like the actor playing the main character, I don't know why he doesn't impress me. I read books about 10 years ago - I liked them. The sound is terrible - the dialogues are quiet, and the moans and soundtracks are screaming like hell.
This series has always loomed in the background for me, but I kept it in mind purely because of Aksenova's caste. But it was only necessary to accidentally hook the back cover of a book with a comment from Minaev, as interest in the project began to play with renewed vigor.
I have never watched "Spiritless", but I have some idea of it, and the beginning of the first series coincided with it. Upon learning that Minaev was the author of this book, the similarity of the Vibes was quickly explained. Otherwise, it is still very spectacular, driving, and very atmospheric intro, but some Russian soundtracks feel somehow alien in the narrative.
He deserves a special mention himself more.tv : I specially took a trial there to watch the series officially, according to the rules, but it would seem that in the series 18+ for some reason they added the effect of "chewing" for mats, as well as words such as "telegram", "Moet", "tumblr". It really spoiled the viewing, considering that initially there was no such thing.
What can I say. It's very interesting, but from the very beginning it was not fucking clear😂 At the end of the first episode, at least something began to fall into place (who is who and what to call them), but I haven't caught the meaning yet. And yes, the censorship was very disappointing. The characters eat words, which sometimes it is not even clear what they wanted to communicate.
Lyuba Aksenova is beautiful!
And I used to like it, but Aksenova overdosed
For me, Duhless crap for example) Perhaps because of Kozlovsky, I can't stand him
But I liked the book)

But not on digital platforms)
It even made me sad.
