I am very sorry for Milena/Joe and Dylan, too. Apparently, the newcomers from the previous season somehow did not enter the audience. Although Dr. Scott was an interesting character. It's a very nice scene with Ethan and April, I've always liked their couple. 🤗
I couldn't figure out what was wrong with Maggie the whole episode. Healthy lifestyle, nutrition and weight loss - yes! But the weight loss had a terrible effect on her. How well she always looked, and now... She was also dressed in a black uniform, as if she was in some kind of mourning. The difference was very striking.
And Dr. Charles is at a therapist's appointment. I would have laughed if life had been different, but it wasn't. First, a million pieces of paper, and there are five minutes left.
Overall, I'm very glad that the Chicago lineup is back.
If I hadn't seen her before, she looks good, fit and well-groomed, but I saw her before season 7 and there she was completely different in presentation.

In some medical (I probably watch too many of them) I remember moments when the monitor has been beeping for almost 5 minutes, everyone is crying, saying goodbye already mentally, and someone desperate is still doing a heart massage and oh, miracle, the patient comes to life. Here they decided otherwise. Apparently, a reason was needed for Dr. Scott's departure.🤷🏼♀️

Пусть в сериале прошла лишь ночь, а между сериями - последней в 7 сезоне и первой в 8м - всего-то 4 месяца, а Мэгги не узнать (теперь актриса и сама борется с раком, как ее героиня).
Я прочла в одной из статей, что после химиотерапии и гистерэктомии она потеряла 20 фунтов (около 10 кг), но внешне будто совсем другой человек, даже цвет кожи темнее, и глаза... совсем другой взгляд. Как она находила в себе силы играть, какой мощный человек она!..
