s04e13 — Please Shine Down on Me

But in general, the series still came out cool. And they had time to be awesome, and laugh, and cry. On a solid 4)
In general, according to my feelings, it ended abruptly and straight strangely. Maybe because I watched all 4 seasons in one go. I was counting on some kind of more organic, integral completion.
That's how Murphy avoided justice, swore she would never kill, and in the end... A very strange ending, and that joy on her face... I would have understood that smile if they had walked away from the whole drug thing unharmed + "just married to happily ever after", but damn, not after what happened..
It would be fine if everyone turned away from Murphy and she was imprisoned, then he smiled at her, but not because she was crying because of the death of a man who was killed because of his fault.
And then in the cabin, why not just talk. If he had been sincere, she would not have done it, but he played a cheap comedy. Plus, I really didn't feel guilty.
He shouldn't have come to the funeral, because his appearance had given her the idea to find the caller.
The only thing he achieved was to turn Murphy into his copy and pay with his life.
What I didn't expect was this:
1) that Felix would leave her alone with Josh (he could also somehow free himself and kill her - he still sees something, well, because this is some kind of permission to kill on his part, and he is an accomplice, since he immobilized him)
2) that Murphy will actually do it. It's one thing to wish for this, but to do it, you need to step over a lot in yourself.
With the condition that the screenwriters screwed up, this is a good ending, and I just felt the point in the story of eternal despair.
On this trip at dawn with Felix and Pretzel, I don't know where, I felt a new beginning - from a clean slate and with a smile, freed from pain.
Although, if you go back to what they both did to Josh, it's all with a touch of kripota.
And I think it's good that they didn't show how they would find Josh, whether they would look for Murphy, since it would be like a seed for a possible new season that I would like to see (but alas that's all), but here it's just an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth - the finale!
It's sad that this is the final!
The series was not bad and the characters were interesting. I would change a lot of things in the plot here, but I don't have to choose, we have what we have.
Thanks for the 4 seasons! The series lived up to its name - exactly "in the dark", in all senses (physical and mental)!
Felix of course turned out to be a real friend who would not leave in trouble, but too soft, Murphy uses him very much
Of course, it is noticeable that by the end of the season they began to drive horses - Max and Murphy abruptly reconciled, and they have a straight idyll, Josh is a psycho, murders one after another.
In this episode, I got a little bit of a cringe from the fact that Josh prudently left a printout with his location (to be honest, I thought he did it on purpose to put Murphy on a false trail, but no) and it would be OK if he wasn't a cop.
Well, the fact that he couldn't leave in a wheelbarrow, but immediately crashed, we'll put it down to blindness :)
In fact, all the problems are because of Murphy anyway. Indirectly, she is also guilty.
It's a pity that Jess wasn't there this season, and that before Murphy was killed, Murphy didn't tell Josh that Jess killed her. I wish there was more drama in this moment. Although I liked Murphy's final speech about the fact that she hadn't killed anyone up to that point.
And so- it was a great adventure, all the characters fell in love, although at times they alternately hung up. I liked that in this series everything is bad for everyone, but it doesn't look depressive, because humor is written into the place. I liked all the supporting characters, they are coolly written. We played well, it was nice to spend time with these guys ;)
A great series, I've always been happy to wait and watch every season.
So empathized with Murphy and co.)
A lot of lines remain open, let's hope that this is a hint of the continuation of the adventures of the heroes, but not on the screens anymore.
А так всё хорошо начиналось.
Под конец уже все бесили честно говоря. Макса жаль. Точка.
Ставила 4 звёзды за сериал, переиграла на 3 из-за последнего сезона.
В начале сериал был неплохим, с хорошей идеей, а под конец осталось только два интересных персонажа - Джин и Лесли (чью последующую судьбу не раскрыли (Но Лесли хоть избавилось от этих не очень хороших людей, которые завались к ней в дом и испортили её жизнь).
Джош стал каким-то психопатом по велению сценарного пера, Мёрфи хладнокровно убила человека и радуется этому. Застрелить человека - не самое лёгкое решение в жизни, а она дважды пырнула.. И ушла безнаказанная!!! Ужас.
А этот типичный клишированный сценарный ход - парочка говорит о своём светлом будущем - чтобы жителям было жалко когда-то кто-то из них умрёт.
Но операторская работа отличная на протяжении всего сериала, глазу приятно!
in general, I liked the series. There were a lot of conflicting thoughts about the plot and the characters. I put down a lot of mats worrying about Murphy and her friends.
But this series will remain in my heart. I will advise people as something extraordinary))
