The last episode is purely the culmination of the theater of the absurd! They shoved everything they could, and some kind of comedy came out:D
You can only be happy for the Moon, she deserved to become the face of the company.
Everything else...I don't even want to describe it, because each character has dropped to a new level of kringe, although no one has been able to surpass Kate)) And it's a shame for Max, of course. In general...don't write stories on your knee, that's my advice! Especially if the series is a reboot of such a giant.

PS At the end there is an additional scene that supposedly hints at a sequel (if the series had not been closed), and it is also quite delusional. It is necessary to be able to stop in time)

All the storylines are cut off, which is generally expected for a series with 10 main characters, which is closed with one series. It's great that they tried to bring back our old emotions by showing the faces of an old gossip girl — I'm talking about Eric's husband. It was unbearable to look at Georgina. Eleanor got a disgusting tribute, although in fact, she is as detached from other people as she was.

Perhaps there are fewer attempts to please the former fans and there would be time left to bring gossip girl to the surface normally. Such a thoughtful Kate, who has been through a lot of shit, suddenly snapped at one news about rights? Rivil would be dumber only if she went to the met gala)

From the good, it's beautiful. Great costumes, Rome has become a real outlet for the eyes, as well as for the characters — it was conveyed well. I was killed by the fact that Zoya found love 15 seconds after she voiced her expectations, but again, they tried to catch up in 60 minutes.

it feels like either the series was written entirely, or sooo much was cut out. The moon went half mad at Jaycee and "left the group", Obi abruptly stopped wanting justice and in one message solved the problem of the gossip girl's personality for no reason at all. the mess for the new season is generally the most disgusting, fortunately it will not be, heh.

in general, the second season probably came to me more than the first, but the viewing was with the phone in hand and watching memes \ instagrams, etc. so I won't be bored

It was impossible to come up with a dumber plan to tell the whole world your biggest secrets and pretend to be a Gossip Girl. But by the will of the down screenwriters, it worked.
Finally, it's all over, you can throw what you saw out of your head, making sure that any restarts of successful series are practically doomed to failure. I hope that all showrunners will understand this as soon as possible

I will support the commentators above: I can't think of a more delusional ending. To merge everything by writing on the knee is a complete absurdity. The backlog for the continuation in the scene after the credits is also a bad idea. In general, the season is on 4, but the last episode is terribly crumpled.
Most of all, it's a shame for Max. If you think by the standards of karma, then maybe he deserved it, but did he not atone for his sins. Still young. Pitifully. If there is a parallel with Chuck, then such a thing. I'm upset.

The season came out better than the first one! But Kate Keller was soooo stupidly leaked, I didn't believe it when she ran there all nervous to confess for the sake of money. And without her, I don't see any point in watching anything further, since she was my favorite heroine. And in general, the idea of gossip teachers seemed very cool to me, although the execution was a little limping.
In the end, it's good that the series was closed. And the last couple of minutes - I'll pretend that I forgot :)

The picture and costumes, as always, are beautiful, everything is very beautiful.
But the plot...
what is it? Nothing is unclear. I agree with the comment above, it feels like a lot was cut out. As if they planned 3 more episodes this season, but here they crammed everything into one.
Zoya abruptly found her idel, Julian and Audrey lp again, Max went all out, and Claire ppts as stupid. Well, scriptwriters, you seem to have revised the time too much and events for several months have become impossible...

The season turned out better than the first, but still a level below even the most disastrous recent seasons of the original.
The only ones who pleased in the series (more precisely, probably, I must say minimally irritated) are Luna and Max. And if you can be happy for the ending of the Moon (as well as for the whole series with its main story arc earlier), then baby Max, apparently, is doomed to suffer:(
It's very joyful that this nonsense and pulling a cock on an elephant has ended, I hope none of the channels will pick up this second-rate scenario :)
PS The finale is very delusional, but from almost fifteen Italian minutes it seemed to warm my soul, no one was fighting stupidly, everyone was just enjoying life and doing what they are really interested, and not sucked out of the finger disassembly)

@Smar: I would like to continue if they change the hell out of all the writers. People need to cling to something when viewing. In the old Gossip Girl, for someone it was the relationship of Chuck and Blair, for someone the personality of gossip girl, for someone Serena and with whom she will stay, for someone the complicated friendship of Blair and Serena. So you can continue for a long time. There's nothing to hold on to here. There is no reason to include the next series. I like the actors (although some of them play terribly), I like the roles that they came up with and that's it. Give them a good plot and you can somehow save this story

@Smar: about 2, maybe the mysterious guy who gave Max his hand is the friend that Zoey's new "beau" left in Berlin.
I also read that this guy was supposed to play an important role in season 3, but since the series was closed, many scenes with him were cut from the final series. And I understood that at the end Audrey and Julien were just saying that they met him, they just cut it out and didn't show us. Julien just says that the guy she met was dumped by a guy.

I wouldn't be surprised if the writers planned that this curly-haired guy wanted something from them and "accidentally" ran into everyone, and Max from his trip would come with this mysterious guy/ex-boyfriend of this curly-haired guy and everyone would meet in NY. And, by the way, Safran said that he wanted to make a triplet an endgame, they say, to prove that polyamory is real. So Max would have gone back to Audrey and Aki anyway

I burned down how it all ended with a crumpled denouement with a silly and cringe-like plan for revealing all the secret secrets, but in beautiful outfits. There was an unpleasant and incomprehensible sediment after watching the last episode. 🤨

the series itself came out quite good, especially liked the second season, as well as the overall development of the characters of Luna and Max (and it hurts for the outcome of the trio of Max-Aki-Audrey)), but the last series... everything is so crumpled, sharp, silly (although the scenes in Italy were very warm) that the aftertaste was not the most pleasant

Заметила несколько отсылок к началу 4-го сезона оригинальной Сплетницы, где досталось пьяному Чаку/пьяному Максу, как Блэр в галерее познакомилась с Луи/знакомство Зои, и общий антураж летних каникул в Европе. Что вы наделали, теперь как никогда хочется пересмотреть...

Для меня Сплетница - святое, я еще покупала диски, потому что интернета почти ни у кого не было. Это было настолько прекрасно, роскошная жизнь, интриги, грязь, шикарная одежда. Я тоже носила обруч, даже был бантик типа как на форме Блэр, дааа, кринге))))

Мне кажется, здесь был потенциал, который просто слили. Ладно сюжет, но даже атмосферу вседозволенности и привилегированности не удалось воплотить, это же основа всего. Элита вышла больше похожей на Сплетницу, чем сама Сплетница)

Наверное, просто время ушло, сейчас каждый инста-инфлюенсер, блогер живет так же, уже никого не удивить. Плюс, расцвела эпоха толерантности, большей осознанности, это не вписывается в старую сюжетную формулу. Но визуал все равно радовал глаз. Надеюсь, еще увидеть этих актеров.

Вот соглашусь, что Элита вышла больше прохожей на сплетницу :) разве что тут картинка красивая, но как же я рада, что сериал кончился. Ни один персонаж, кроме, разве что, Макса не вызвал искреннего интереса и сочувствия. Сюжетные линии скомканные, персонажи ведут себя нелогично…

Честно говоря на сцене разоблачения Кейт я до последнего ждала, что она сейчас проснётся или это Джордан объясняет ей, что всё это просто подстава - настолько нелепо и пластмассово выглядела эта сцена🤦🏼‍♀️
Ладно, спасибо что закончили так быстро)) Томас Доэрти, ради которого я и затевала просмотр изначально, все мои ожидания оправдал на 200%, так что остальное - понять и простить))

So ladies and gentlemen, results!
The series itself was average, with beautiful actors who played well, it was expensive enough and colorful.
BUT THE SCRIPT... Here please do not comment.
The whole thing reminded me of Riverdale, when characters seem to like it, and the writers decide to do everything so that they don't have a job in the future.

Season 2 was definitely 10 times better than the first one. Episode 7,8,9 made me hope that Season 3 would be even better. But alas and ah.
This is probably the only time I won't scold Warner and HBOmax for closing the series.

It's just a pity for the characters, because it was possible to come up with such a cool plot, intrigues, secrets, scandals...

And a little bit about the final characters:
1) The Holy Trinity has fallen asleep, it was expected. I love Audrey very much anyway.
As for Max, maybe it's my fantasy, but the feeling is that he met not just a random guy at the bar, but someone from the main caste of the old Gossip Girl. And it was simply cut out so that fans wouldn't throw stones after the news about the closure of the series.
2) Julien and Obi. In a word, I am happy for them. It's a pity that Obie's vile sister came out of the water dry.
And Jules deserves a happy ending.
3) Zoe, our pseudo-main character, better she wasn't in this series. I couldn't love the character and feel her nature. About her girlfriend, who appeared in the second season, I'm generally silent.
4) Luna, my bunny, my favorite, the best. I love this character, all my neurons. I'm glad she got along with her mother and eventually became brand's face. She deserved it all. But I'm not sure about Jules ' concession, I think on the road she meant that Luna is more of a designer than a model. Krch. I just didn't express myself correctly and ruined my friendship.
5) Monet. I hated that character. But I felt sorry for her, after they showed all the "charm" of her family. I hope she gets rid of her mother's shackles.
6) Kate) what a fool.

Ну вот и всё. Финал яркий получился, но бредовый. Сериал запомнился исключительно из-за списанного с "Элиты" тройничка и вечно удивленного лица Кейт с открытым ртом.

Всю серию думала, что все таки финал успели переделать на закрытие сериала, но в конце поняла, что мои надежды не оправдались. Сначала подумала, что Макса "подобрал" кто-то из оригинальнйо сплетницы, но после того, как все обсуждали какого-то чела, одно и того же, который всттретился всем, стало ясно, что это все один персонаж и уловка на 3ий сезон. Котрого, увы, не будет.

Может мне кто-то объяснить пожалуйста, так во 2ом сезоне Одри И Аки поняли, что они НЕ любят Макса так, как друг-друга? Потому что я не поняла, почему они так и не признались Максу. Ну, видимо атки не любят. Обидно получается.

Видно, что там и дальше была бы драма на драмме, но все же я бы смотрела и дальше.

- изначально у Одри и Аки было влечение к Максу, но они не хотели изменять друг другу и в целом как-то неловко
- Макс предлагает тройничок, они пробуют, это будоражит. новые ощущения и всё такое
- тройничок затягивается, Макс вовлекается эмоционально в эту историю, и хочет встречаться открыто. ребята наоборот хотят скрывать и пытаются "подсунуть" Макса под разных людей, чтобы не вызывать подозрений
- Макс не в восторге, и в итоге они всё же согласились афишировать свои отношения
- всё вроде бы классно, о них все знают, они поддерживают друг друга, и Макс признаётся им в любви. Одри и Аки не отвечают, это повисает неким напряжением.
- у Аки случается история с поцелуем на стороне, о котором вскоре узнаёт Одри. Макс отстраняется из-за того, что ребята так и не ответили ему на признание (или там другая причина была, я честно уже и не помню :D)
- Одри и Аки приходят к Максу, он их выгоняет со словами: если мы не вместе, то никто не вместе. Мол вы не можете просто меня кинуть и сами встречаться дальше. И в этот момент, прежде чем разойтись, Одри язвит в сторону Аки на тему поцелуя, он такой: ты ревнуешь что ли? И Одри задает вопрос: а когда мы Макса пихали под половину города, ты ревновал? и, судя по всему, у обоих ответ "нет". Из чего впоследствии делается вывод, что друг друга они любят, а Макс скорее для остроты был им нужен.

могла что-то упустить, чисто поделилась как эта цепочка в моей голове сложилась))

@soundtrack: хз про Макса "для остроты", в конце концов, "пихание" Макса под половину города было в самом начале отношений, когда это для всех было больше сексуальным опытом, чем романтическим,
там-то и он не был ещё прям сильно влюблен (хоть и начал понимать, что не хочет им изменять, да)
+ Макс с Одри сблизились довольно в середине 2го сезона, пока Аки где-то на стороне целовался и занимался своими делами)
короче, тема любви Одри и Аки к Максу не раскрыта) но я думаю, дай сериалу зеленый свет, в будущих сериях тему бы дожали) в конце концов, даже если Макс влюбился раньше обоих своих партнеров, это вовсе не говорит о том, что их отношения были обречены на провал или что-то такое)

Ну что ж, что имеем по итогу сериала.
Первый сезон оказался динамичнее и интереснее, как это только возможно в случае этого проекта. К финалу есть вопросы, но могли закрыть еще хуже и оборваннее. Но так смешно слушать было обвинения к Кейт, что она лезла в чужую личную жизнь, а детки у нас такие невинные, как и их богатенькие родители, которые наворотили на большие правонарушения нежели Кейт)
Раскрывать личность Сплетницы со старта перезапуска оказалось ошибкой, к финалу я в этом окончательно убедился. Так как других взрывных интриг у нас по сюжетным линиям, по сути, не имеется. И это главный недостаток сериала - по часу разбора недометаний богатеньких деток, к которым все пришло в руки без особого труда. От того и не проникаешься персонажами. В той же "Элите" в последнем сезоне создатели повернули маховик хотя бы в сторону эмоций и психологии. Здесь же - все бегом и по верхам, в итоге - скучно.
Лучший персонаж - Луна, которая взяла свое, несмотря на давление со стороны Джулиан. Хороша подруга: моделинг - не твое, ПРОСТО ПОТОМУ ЧТО. Поддержка 10 из 10))))
И, возвращаясь к словам Луны напоследок, цитирую: я устала от ваших школьных разборок.
Так что несмотря на планы на 3 сезон - я не вижу в нем смысла.

@mrbradshaw: ну такое сравнивать взрослого человека с подростками, пусть и богатыми и избалованными. ладно уж опустим, когда Сплетница за родителей бралась. лично мне даже немножко интересно было смотреть на все эти переговоры матери Моне и Кейт. но когда взрослый сформировавшийся человек (а тем более учитель) строит схемки, как бы обосрать жизнь детям, да посильнее, мне кажется, не все в порядке с таким человеком

На самом деле, какая-то слишком сумбурная и муторная серия:
И мет-гала, и сцена скомканного разоблачения за 5 секунд, и какая-то затравка на 3 сезон, в котором бы не было сплетницы, а ток тайны этой глупой семейка [благо, канал нас уберег от этого]
Вообще, я не скажу, что это прямо феноменальный сериал, тем более до культовости оригинала ему и вовсе далеко, но все же закончить сезон можно было бы и как-то менее пространственно, пытаясь ухватить все ниточки сразу и не поймав ни одной
Что там с Кейт? Посадили ли ее или там суд? Вступился ли кто за нее из сообщников? - а хрен его знает...
Что там у Луны на душе? Как она вообще поссорилась настолько с Джулиен, когда 2 сезона ходила стилилась под нее - а хрен его знает
Куда там отец Зои пошел работать дальше? Восстановили ли ему лицензию? - а хрен его знает
И это лишь малый вариант примеров из огромного числа отломанных историй, сюжетная ветка которых рассчитана обычно не более чем на сезон. В общем, странные дела это все, как наследие сериал - точно не тянет, как что-то незатеиливо, чтобы посмотреть фоном, восхищаясь картинкой, когда случайно падает взгляд - точно для этого

Наконец-то я досмотрела это, чаще включала просто на фоне.
Поставлю 2 звезды за: Макса, Луну и актеров из настоящей СПЛЕТНИЦЫ(а не ее подобия), которые появлялись в сериале, а еще за Чарли XCX и наряды на Met Gala👌🏼
Иногда были забавные или интересные моменты, но их очень мало, большинство героев совсем не интересны..
Даже самые последние сезоны оригинальной Сплетницы, которые я лично искренне люблю, но многие хаяли, ЛУЧШЕ ЧЕМ ВЕСЬ ЭТОТ СЕРИАЛ!

Хочу отметить помимо вышеперечисленного, что зная как проходит Met Gala, смотреть на этот бред было просто невозможно…как минимум это мероприятие для взрослых, туда не зовут и пускают детей. И красная дорожка выглядела настолько узкой, как будто они в школьном коридоре снимали. А Met Gala проходит всегда в Нью-йоркском музее с широкой торжественной лестницей…
Этот вопрос и многие другие (про бары, клубы, самостоятельные поездки) можно было решить просто указав что они учатся в колледже, а не в школе блять))) при той же Констанс, например…но увы. как решили так решили. хорошо, что это конец.

Честно говоря мое личное мнение лучше бы не снимали новую сплетницу ,Серену и Блэр никто не заменит и старую сплетницу ,решила этот сериал посмотреть ради интереса что же придумают ради продолжения ,и это полная х….нь

Очень жалко, что сериал не оправдал наших ожиданий. Сама идея сделать продолжение была крутой, но ее ужасно испоганили.

Остается только пересматривать старую Сплетницу и ждать более достойных проектов.

Мне кажется или многие сцены с трио были вырезаны? Например, не видела, чтобы Макс им признавался в любви, только их уже реакцию на это

Смотря где вы смотрите, если по подписке, то много сцен вырезано, если на пиратских сайтах, то там все есть

Сначала сериал мне не нравился, все казалось ужасно бредовым. Но за 2 сезона я так привыкла к персонажам, что теперь даже жалко стало, что его закрыли.

Finally, the series was closed. Because of the love for the original, it was impossible to quit, but just everything was so infuriating 🤦🏼♀️ By the end, Julia became very similar to the character of Serena (family search), Audrey to Blair with her style and two boyfriends (Nate and Chuck / Aka Max), Max in the last series is an even bigger copy of Chuck. The characters did not arouse sympathy, the plot seemed to be sucked out of the finger, the picture is beautiful, but the idea with a teacher who is so stupid that she also admitted that she did not understand what it threatened her.. It would be better not to shoot, although there were beautiful moments like trios and outfits.

The original "Gossip Girl" will forever remain one of my favorite TV shows, and out of respect for him, I tried to watch it... but yes, it looks like remakes of popular TV series are doomed. Because it's not even worth a nail of the original. It's a pity that they don't want to write normal scripts for new versions, but write on their knees…

in general, I still believe that the triad is an endgame, which was not given season 3, but it would be nicer, of course, if this series, along with the disclosure of gossip girl, was finished and on their truce, leaving a cliffhanger except for the scene after the credits (a cringe, yes, but I don't care)

I liked the idea of this relaunch as a continuation of Gossip Girl. In any case, it's better than reshooting the same thing with some changes. Gossip girl teachers are also cool.

But the implementation, of course, is lame. The first season, while getting acquainted with the characters and ideas, I somehow liked it more. And this series turned out to be utter nonsense, which spoils the impression even more. What kind of idiocy is there with revealing the identity of a gossip girl?! Kate didn't seem too smart, but to give up like that for money?! If they had at least played this disclosure as a help to Zoey, who is not to blame, then, as for me, it would have made more sense.

I've been watching the original for quite a while, so I don't really remember how "tough" gossip girl was, but the constant mention: "the new gossip girl is tougher" I got tired of at some point.... And the appearance of Georgina and her actions.. causes a facepalm..

I was happy for the Moon, which was on the cover. But her tantrum and breakup with friends were very strange. It was sad to see such a conclusion

I really liked the finale of the series. Gossip Girl has finally been revealed, and now it's clear that Kate's "good goals" have made a crazy person out of her.. It's a pity that there won't be a third season. According to rumors, the plot should have been more lively. Well, that's not bad either)

I was upset that nothing was said about Monet at all in the finale. You could at least mention what she does in the end. Half of the season they made one of the main characters out of her, but in the end they pushed her somewhere deep and didn't say anything. I liked her the most
