Owen's insanely strong speech. Goosebumps. He was already losing the team, those who were close to him. And he understands that it can happen again. I think he said goodbye to the guys just in case.
I'm very sorry for the agent's woman-I was hoping that she and Owen would become a couple. / The series is very intense, I really liked it - I thought that it was my nephew who shot the tourist (even for some reason it seemed that he pointed a gun at him - it's good that he didn't). 21 years in prison is somehow powerful, considering that he was threatened. But the fact that he knew about the explosion in the bar helped and did not report, and a lot of people died there, and even more so agents, then it is reasonable. / And about Owen's act when he immediately got into the car and drove off. If it had been real, no one would have let him leave in a car full of explosives without an explanation. Snipers would have taken him down for one or two. If they had been aware, they might have arranged for him to be escorted with flashing lights to get to an empty place faster, where no one would get hurt. And the fact that the 911 dispatcher knew that the explosives would lose their power in the water is also a miracle. I'm not saying she shouldn't have known this, but I think it was more likely that Owen, as a firefighter, should have known, and not her, for that matter.
God, this is a great episode. I didn't notice how it flew by. Such a strong friendship was shown between Owen and O'Brien. And how they fought at the very first meeting, as always, the clever Grace, who suggested where to go. The best team in the world that came to push the van 😄 I thought the whole series would be sad that Marwani was not there, but there are so many events, so much sincerity 😌
I admire Judd! Now I'm reviewing the first season and it's so harmful there (yes, we all know why). And now he is a wonderful leader, a good friend, a loving husband and father, a brave firefighter.... It's nice to see how the character "grows "
It was a very intense episode, but it also looked easy! I wonder when they'll realize at 126 that their walkie-talkie was stolen? 😄
It's a pity, of course, for the guy, and the fact that he's been stuck like this for 21 years! But still, he could have done things differently, could have somehow contacted the services. Not to neutralize the gang, but one person, in fact…
Apparently, in the next episodes we will have a pre-wedding story, or a wedding! Owen finally remembered that he has a son! The last scene is very nice and cozy 💕
@weetly: the walkie-talkie -.. the first thought was at the beginning of the series, when the connection was "interrupted" - that this was it, but it turned out to be another... \_(ツ)_/
@weetly: according to the chronology, it turns out that the "war " began in the summer ( judging from the memories ) and continued right up to the events of this series , that is , the end of February / beginning of March +- The wife and child were kidnapped later , that is , this is not an excuse 🤷
Returning to the issue with the walkie-talkie..... if she didn't "play, didn't sparkle" anywhere else, then why was her nephew stealing in the last episode? At the end of episode 2, "someone" makes a bomb and in front of him is a photo of the policeman's uncle as the founder of "Dogs" and several clippings about Owen Strand and the 126 precinct... - it's also not very clear what it was for in this situation.
It feels like the writers changed their shoes on the fly with the denouement.... but despite the fact that between the beginning and the denouement of the 2nd series, it seems unlikely...
but in any case, the series is great, the rest is flea catching))))
Fuuh Finally, the situation with ammonias was resolved, and even nothing exploded. Owen is a hero, and the family relationship is very sweet in the end. In general, they are all such cuties, even O'Brien
Owen's complacency is getting more and more annoying. In every story, he is the main character and savior. Well, how much can I do? Everyone else has little stories (Paul's heart problems, Carlos's kidnapping) and it's very unfair. It's clear that Judd is older and more experienced than the others, but I would look at Captain Paul.
P.S. I am actively waiting for a crossover with 911 at Tarlos' wedding.
Owen jumped out of the car and stands waiting to see if it will explode or not. At least I lay down on the ground, 3 tons of explosives after all.. The 126th drove up, pushed the car into the water and also stood waiting.. And if the barrels had been filled with balls additionally, the water would not have saved.. I feel sorry for Rose . After such a touching scene in the ambulance, I thought they would be together.
A lot of movement in the case is good. It's too bad that they changed the original script, making the nephew a good boy and adding a biker killer. This is very striking, not a single gun was fired in the form of a walkie-talkie, surveillance, photos of cap, uncle, fire.
And now he is a wonderful leader, a good friend, a loving husband and father, a brave firefighter....
