Uh, did they decide to transfer suspicion to Nicole in this episode? What's in her trunk? Such a sad episode, Wally's mom, Maddie's mom...When they were standing very close, and mom was looking past Maddie, it was just very tough: there wasn't much in this episode except Charlie. Poor guy, he's been writing a letter all this time.
It will be nice if Maddie talks so heart to heart with everyone, helps the guys not to live in the past (even in the form of ghosts) and magically stays alive.
@unicornpower: I keep thinking, too, maybe Maddie, like in "Between Heaven and Earth", is in a coma or something like that and she can still be brought back to life. For a reason, she still has a connection with the world of the living.
They end the series in such a way every time that it seems like a week will be unbearable waiting for the next episode. I really wonder what really happened to her.
At the moment when the football player Wally takes off his T-shirt, I already thought that he would now go on, but fortunately there was still a spike-spike with Maddie. Of course, they are pumping up cool, you really suspect everyone. But it seems to me that the janitor killed her, he's too darkly mysterious.
For some reason, when they showed Nicole's trunk, I don't know why, but I thought that her things were there. Maybe she has problems and it's she who lives in the abandoned house where the backpack was found. Stupid, maybe, but I decided to share it)
Well, I agree with the comment above, it also felt like Wally would solve the problem with the anchor mom and understand everything and move on with a calm soul.
Ps I may have missed it, but did you tell me how Mr. Martin died?
@olya_loui: No, they didn't talk about him, well, either I forgot it or overlooked it, which is hardly interesting to me how long ago and how he died, as well as who he was during his lifetime. He's a suspicious character, this Martin...
And who knows, maybe her best friend sees her because he is the one responsible for her death. After all, he is clearly in love with her and is angry at the choice of a guy, although he would not like to - since he seems to be trying to help even in the absence of reciprocity.
Maddie can only communicate with a friend in places where someone has died... Well, there are few places in this school where there have been no deaths 😬
I also already thought that Wally would "go on" thanking Maddie, but no, phew , otherwise I'll definitely ship them from this episode)
I can't clear my friend's suspicions yet. maybe he killed her somehow by accident or something like that (I just remember his suffering in the first episode) and is investigating the case to deflect suspicion from himself
but the coma theory confuses me. to be in a coma and still live, you need to maintain life in the body. and Maddie's body hasn't been found for a decent amount of time. I doubt that anyone is doing this.
For some reason, it seems to me that another ghost has entered Maddie's body and escaped (the girl everyone says she left), and this psychologist is very suspicious, as if he is hiding something. And Maddy can talk to the living because she's not dead.
Who knows, maybe she really is still alive and will be found by the end of the season, but after that she will also see all the school ghosts and help them find peace by solving unfinished business.
It seems to me that the series has undeservedly low ratings. I started watching without hoping for anything original, but in the end I got an interesting plot, a good detective component and a lot of heartbreaking moments. I watched five episodes in one day, it seems that the week will be longer than ever
I am glad that the series has an active audience here. After the trailer, it seemed that the series would be very niche and would pass by the mass audience. But still, the creators managed to present to the viewer an interesting world of spirits and the living and the original mechanics of their interaction. As for the theories, I'll add my own, maybe for someone strange and wild, but if I were a screenwriter, I would try such a twist .... Killed Maddie or hurt her and maybe other guys that are now spirits...... .....Mr. Martin....
In fact, in this series, the teacher (who is dead. ps: I have problems with names) he is kind of mysterious and strange. Also, in my opinion, the case that spirits disappear when they solve their problems does not work here... (I'm not sure). And also, my heart started to rejoice, because I've been shipping Maddie and Wally from the very beginning (ahha, it seems to me that now more than half of them are shipping). As for Maddie's death, it seems to me that it is someone from the environment, and reading the comments, it also seems to me that Simon or Nicole is possible. To be honest, from the first episodes I don't understand Nicole, not in terms of actions, but in terms of what kind of person she is. also, sometimes, Simon is confused at times, because he is the only one who sees her, but ... ahah, in short, everything is confusing.
At first, I was skeptical about the series and started watching it for the sake of a tick, but now I got involved and I'm very interested in what happened in the basement 😃😃😃
I bet it's Nicole's killer. It's not even about the stuff, the trunk. In the banality. The guy killed because of infidelity? Boring. The teacher? It was. Only best friends are not boring. And Nicole so sharply wants to communicate with her mom, is clearly in love with her boyfriend and wants her life. Because I was confused by her glances and hysterical "I don't want to lose you too." Like they were best friends and she came in third, she wanted to be friends with Simon. That's the real motive. And the trunk is stained with blood. I'll write you when I see if I'm right. 🪦🫡
Damn, the series dragged me out 😅😍 At first, it was confusing, like why ghosts can touch and inspect things, why they eat, why they open doors instead of passing through them... And then I accepted it as a fact of the scriptwriters' vision on the topic of everyday ghosts and their "life" and now it has become even more interesting to watch and understand that the things they take, they do not take physically, but take as if phantom/ghostly things and can use them, while How real things don 't move 😅👍🏻 Cool, cool idea 😁👍🏻
As for guessing what happened to Maddie, who killed her, and whether she was dead, after this episode I somehow looked suspiciously at Nicole, Maddie's friend (like her name is😅), why was she looking around like that when she was going to open the trunk? What is she hiding there? Suspicious, I don't suspect Simon. In my opinion, he definitely had nothing to do with what happened to Maddie. It would be fun if it turned out that he was involved 🙈😅 Maddy's boyfriend, damn, the name slipped my mind, I don't suspect anymore. I wonder who it is, after all? And anyway, maybe Maddie is really still alive? Even though it's been so many days... even if she were alive, but crippled, she would have already died of dehydration/starvation/blood loss... so I have no hopes for her miraculous resurrection. 🤷🏼♀️
I have two options. 1. Either Maddie is alive and that ghost who escaped stupidly knocked her out and moved in, pushing her out of her body, and did not go to heaven. But in this case, then it is unclear why she is chained to the school, she did not die there. 2. That her mother drunkenly did something to her, she ran to school on the day she disappeared for some reason.
Wally's story is very painful, but at the same time it is touching that he has finally begun to move on. I also expected it to set him free, but no… However, this is what makes me increasingly doubt their ghostly mentor. If the main character helps the characters deal with their regrets in just a few weeks, then what has he been doing for years? Two thoughts at once: the first was to amuse self—conceit, being the only "adult", the second was whether he harbored any insidious plans.
Something is generally confused at the end. There are two theories in the comments here - that there is no killer, just another ghost has entered her body, and that Nicole's killer. But there are several serious inconsistencies in both theories. If there is no killer and this is an invasion, then why would another ghost leave footprints in the forest, like Nicole's photos and send videos to specific people? If Nicole's killer, then again, what's the joke with liking her photos on a throwback and a video link to herself? Everything is very strange. So far, only Xavier has definitely (at least for me) disappeared from suspicion
I felt the chemistry between Maddie and Wally back in the first episode, so honestly, I hope she's not alive, otherwise my peyring will disintegrate. 😅

I support the theory that Maddie is in a coma! I also envy people who will watch everything at once, without the tedious waiting :)
