It seems to me that he was trying to show the problems of not so much a certain social inequality, as for the most part the prejudices of people with a higher social status relative to people who are lower in such status.
The second part of the season turned out to be more interesting, because there was the main feature of the series - growl Retsuko, tied to the election campaign, which pleased me as much as possible. At one point they even mixed rap, j-pop and metal growl, which is the best part of the whole season. There is even some kind of character development.
Aggressive Retsuko has always been maximally Japanized with a tolerant Europeanized presentation and telling about problems in a metal style, which favourably distinguished the series from everything else and made it popular with critics. However, if you look objectively, this is a season that was unnecessary, because the only thing that has been developed since last season is the relationship between Retsuko and Haida, as well as the unemployment of the latter. Everything else could be dispensed with.
Despite all that said, 5 out of 5, because I loved Retsuko and will always love her - she's cool. It's a shame to say goodbye to the series, but you need to stop in time, here it's the most timely almost successful.
