Oh, it turns out Agatha was having a fling with Violet's father. and so when the Viscountess talked about her father's crowns, she knew about it, and even kept one as a keepsake, interesting, interesting. and now they're friends, will Lady Danbury tell Viscountess Bridgerton that she slept with her father?
Violet Bridgerton and her "garden" "Almost asked the footman to lie on me today" 😄
the doctor with his methods of treatment is a tin
I noticed that the Dutch angle is used quite often in this series
@E770: *Oh, it turns out Agatha was having a fling with Violet's father.* after this episode, I am tormented by my impression, which was after watching season 3 of Bridgerton. After some scene with Agatha, Violet and Marcus Anderson (Agatha's brother), I had the impression that Agatha, at her young age, wanted to run away with a married man, but her brother urged her to be reasonable. And my suspicions, in the context of the scene, were specifically about Violet's father or husband (men from Violet's family).
I didn't think this prequel would be so closely related to the current story of the Bridgerton family. Wow.
A wonderful episode of whitewashing. Michelle, of course, is awesome playing Augusta. And the bitch, and the mother, and the royal "I want it so" are great for her.
Oh, thank God, someone openly said that there is sex after 50 or whatever Violet is now.
@ajcrvr: She's really great in all her power roles. and how a young actress looks like an elderly Lady Danbury! statuesque, facial expressions, features
@ajcrvr: I think that judging by the fact that Anthony is about 25-26 years old, and they gave birth early then, at the age of 17, Violet is 43-45 years old, very young nowadays, now at this age the first children are sometimes born. Why wouldn't the garden bloom.
Somewhere they wrote that Anthony is 28-29, maybe even 30. Kate according to the book was 25 somewhere. If Violet gave birth to him at the age of 18, then she is about 50
@Toruviell: Ideally, that it would be a widower with children and that the Bridgetons would have a continuation where it is necessary to marry more stepbrothers and sisters.
@bambik: of course, it's prinemaetsya, but it means that the old actors I'm used to will grow old and slowly cut out of the project, and I would not like that.
I don't want it to look obscene, but it's actually for Violet to admit that her... the garden needs attention it's actually a huge step for the heroine
the years of her grief are coming to an end, a new stage is slowly beginning and I am so incredibly happy for Violet! she deserves happiness and love
Judging by Google and the symptoms there should be physical manifestations (blisters, ulcers, etc.). And in the series there is something neurological, psychological 🥲
@daizydaria: quote from Wikipedia: "It is believed that the king suffered from the hereditary disease porphyria, although modern research indicates the weakness of arguments in favor of porphyria and other organic and neurological pathologies as the root cause of his acute manic attacks, and linguistic analysis of George's extensive epistolary heritage rather indicates mental illness."
I still don't know how the season will end, what the denouement will be, I will leave another series for tomorrow on purpose. But I applaud Shonda and the team that created it. If the Bridgertons were a beautiful fairy-tale romantic story, then it's so deep, in an adult way, what types, the plot, how the characters are written, how they are filmed. In the wildest delight, bravo 💛
The conversation between Agatha and Violet revealed the whole idea of this series + the conversation about sex gave new shades to this series. I doubted whether it was worth watching this series, but in anticipation of season 3 of the Bridgertons, I still decided to take a look and I don't regret it. As far as I know, there is no such book, and Shonda herself decided to shoot this series based on the motives of the Bridgertons + an actual topic, since many after season 1 wondered why there were African Americans and Asians in the British series. I've been looking for information about Charlotte myself since this era and yes it's true. By the way, a funny moment when writing her portrait proves that there is information about white Charlotte on the Internet. The princess did not like her skin color and she asked to lighten the Queen's skin color in the picture. The actors were picked up very well and of course young Brimsley :) such a cutie! The doctor's treatment methods are terrifying and in general there was a feeling of a dominant person who just wanted to rule the king as a trophy… In general, the series is amazing. I'm thrilled 🤍
@Itismeaidana: Sorry, but that's how rewriting history works. The series is stunningly beautiful, interesting, but this moment is just depressing. To think that there could have been a black queen in England in the 18th century, or even to know when in the colonies of this very England these very blacks were kept for cattle... It's just unbelievable why this is being done
@grom_ko: if you open wikipedia, a page about Charlotte, there is a whole section devoted to her possible African origin, to know is the speculation of the screenwriters, but Charlotte herself is based on reality
@Itismeaidana: "yes it's true" is too loud a statement. it is not proven that Queen Charlotte had African roots. her skin color is described by contemporaries as swarthy, but the version of her African origin arose only in the middle of the last century and does not have a sufficient evidence base.
What an amazing character Charlotte has! "If he wants to be crazy, there will be a way, but in a calm environment." Her acceptance of George and her struggle for him deserve a separate love
Everything that is shown about Violet and her husband goes against the book. Why change the characters so much (in the book they lived soul to soul, had children, and even after his death Violet was not particularly interested in men, so a fleeting infatuation at a masquerade, she gave herself all to her family and numerous grandchildren. Which, of course, is boring for Netflix. Little Lord Denberry is lovely
@Younger_Josh: You don't seem to understand at all what Violet and Lady Danbury were talking about. Violet practically does not differ from her book version, and the point was that you can love your late husband as much as you want, but this does not mean that at 45-50 she should bury herself as a beautiful, young woman. She's still an amazing mother, and she still hasn't thrown herself at another man, but that doesn't mean she can't WANT it. The books are in many ways much more conservative on the issue of women's rights, and in this regard I bow to the creators of the series for all the changes made.
Agatha and Violet's father conquered my heart❤️from the age of 3, she did not know happiness and personal boundaries, did not know affection, passion and love.Violet's father is Lady Danbury's love, she has known this wonderful feeling💗
Shonda is cool. Behind the crinolines and intrigues are hidden deep social, racial, sexual issues that she "digs out". This also includes the topic of people with special needs. The Bridgertons have reached another level.
The actors are well chosen, the young Lady Danbury is so beautiful, you can't take your eyes off. The story is written surprisingly deeply and tragically, reveals already familiar characters from the other side.
I love the way Brimsley is revealed in Queen Charlotte. In "Bridgerton" caused only negative emotions. But here you can see that he is not just worried about the crown, but really worried about his queen, and for the king too. The moment when he stood behind Charlotte and stretched out his hand to somehow support her, he was very touched((
75 minutes of the series did more for the plot, it feels like, than all the previous series combined. A lot of questions, but even more tears, I would watch a separate series about the Queen and Brimsley through the years, about Agatha and Violet's father and about Brimsley and Reynolds, more spinoffs to God of spinoffs. Brimsley, who puts out his hand to support the queen, Lady Danbury, who puts on a hat, Charlotte, who holds her husband in her arms - each such moment carries more meaning, feelings, drama and tragedy than the entire first season of the Bridgertons. It's cool to see that this is possible in the universe of the series.
Agatha's life story💔 George's screams💔 Charlotte and the Queen's relationship🤣🤣🤣 Oh, and Agatha is not simple) Violetta and her garden is such a big step for an 18th century widow^^ That the valets take care of their king and queen ❤❤❤ Brimsley and his hand at a distance ❤ Charlotte's words of love for her son❤❤❤ Poor George💔 This is not treatment, but torture 💔💔
I'm crying again. I didn't think the spinoff would be even cooler than the main series. I would even say that their genres are slightly different. The valets are amazing. These smiles of the doctor's assistants are disgusting, it is definitely clear that to a greater extent it was all done for their pleasure.
Such a wonderful and at the same time insanely difficult series. Everything is pressing on Charlotte and this atmosphere is very well conveyed, in general, the penultimate episode of the season came out great. All the actors act out very coolly and convey the story and emotions of their characters 👍🏻
Oh. What a strong scene at 44 minutes, where Brinsley wants to support the queen. You don't even need words. It's been a long time since watching something made me cry, but then it just hit me.
And finally Charlotte put everyone in their place at the end of the series. Bravo, Queen! 👑
In some season of the Bridgetons, there was a conversation between Agatha and Violet (in my opinion, the season with Agatha's brother) and Agatha's relationship with Violet's father was kind of mentioned there. Maybe someone remembers? Am I confusing anything?
Charlotte, why did you put up with it for so long?! Scatter the king!!!! Just tears coming out of my eyes. And the sight of the doctor and his methods sends a chill through my body every time. Now we often scold medicine, but it's so good that we live in our time, and not when Hippocrates himself (the luminary of medicine!) he treated hemorrhoids with a red-hot iron. Therefore, it is a pity that most likely no one will punish the doctor for this. Science!!!

I really want Violet to find a suitable man who would cultivate her garden again, not only children should get everything.
The Doctor is completely crazy himself! 🤬
What are Agatha's passions 😏
And now friends with Violet
the years of her grief are coming to an end, a new stage is slowly beginning and I am so incredibly happy for Violet! she deserves happiness and love
And how Charlotte tried to remind him who he is, it really hurts💔💔💔
The feeling that the course of the disease has worsened due to the "treatment" of the doctor
"It is believed that the king suffered from the hereditary disease porphyria, although modern research indicates the weakness of arguments in favor of porphyria and other organic and neurological pathologies as the root cause of his acute manic attacks, and linguistic analysis of George's extensive epistolary heritage rather indicates mental illness."

So yes, there from the grandfather directly to the grandson, Augusta has never been a queen.
