Well, it was a great journey of ten episodes and almost two months, and I will definitely recommend this series in the future as the best thing that happened in 2023. because this is not just a detective story about some crime in the USA of the late seventies (as it may seem in the first two series) and certainly not a biopic about a serial killer. this work is about how to find healing even when the whole world betrays you endlessly. this work is about what psychiatry and psychology workers have to face on the way to helping patients without the right to break down under the weight of other people's injuries. and of course this work is about the fact that even the closest people do not necessarily have to stay with you forever and that you have the right and should always protect yourself, ask for help when necessary and take care of yourself (without "guardian angels" and certainly without the help of an alter ego).
what else would I really like at the end of the series is punishment? that is, yes, most likely Danny's stepfather was fired and suspended from working with children, about his biological father we only know how vile he was and not a word about his real one. I would just like to know that these two characters were eventually torn away from the world, just as their actions were torn away from the real world of Danny himself.
in the end, I was also pleased that the main character did not follow the canons of forgiveness and really tried to cut off the connection with his mother for his own sake and out of self-care, despite all the (seemingly) support that she gave him as a child. this is a very strong and true message - always choose yourself and your comfort, and I am very grateful for it.
it was great! Tom Holland is a genius in his acting, and throughout all ten episodes I believed every look, saw the facial expressions of each of the alter egos, and so much work was put into it that it is impossible not to admire.

Zendei was once praised in Zahleb, "what a game, IT's A MASTERPIECE!!1" for the hysteria of a drug addict in a series about endless teen sex. A good ending to a good series. Personally, I've had a feeling of hopelessness for the last few episodes (especially after ending 9). But the finale, on the contrary, despite the obviously difficult moments (Danny's realization about Adam, a conversation with his mother), gave hope for the best. I am glad for Danny: for finding out the truth; for being acquitted (= his problem was recognized) and he is undergoing treatment; for finally becoming completely himself. I think "Crowded Room" managed to properly convey an important moral and strike the right chord in my soul as a viewer. Character development, acting, visual component, soundtracks (The Beatles and Pink Floyd a few episodes earlier), etc. — everything worked as it should. We certainly need more such works that raise serious topics with special sensitivity and empathy.

What a gorgeous series it is For all 10 out of 5. But at the same time, it is quite mentally heavy or painful, not for watching popcorn, so it needs its own audience

It seems to me that the creators did themselves a disservice by saying that the series is based on a book about Billy Milligan, because they have nothing in common except DRE and prosecution; and they have teased and antagonized many people with DRE. I also understand why my colleagues rated the series low - the first 4 episodes (and no one will give you the whole series) are very smeared, and they can be safely rewired into 2. And yes, it was only towards its conclusion that the series accelerated, and the last 3 episodes turned out to be good. Having started watching the series for the sake of Tom and Amanda, I liked it enough that after each episode I went to defend it on social networks, and at the same time read reviews from people with DRE (like last year with the Moon Knight). I am glad that the finale turned out to be quite light and calm in tone, without any cliched twist at the end. I didn't regret watching the series, and Tom is just a sunshine, I've been following him for 8 years with In the heart of the sea.

Не пожалели, что посмотрели сериал! Хорошие, важные темы поднимает, красиво снято. Правда, там были весьма грубые искажения того, как выглядит дри. В реальности это все-таки без галлюцинаций-альтеров, они ощущается скорее как твои ещё одни «голоса в голове», помимо твоего собственного. И если сделать изображение в сериале реальнее, то тогда пол сюжета посыпется 🥲 (Дэнни бы не обманывался, думая, что его альтеры отдельные люди. Он бы только слышал их.) Многие отмечали качество интро. Согласен на все 100. Хорошая работа, но я, честно сказать, даже и не удивлён ни разу. Сейчас делать что-то серое и незапоминающееся — не уважать ни зрителя, ни себя. Для интересующихся, на ютубе много роликов как с шикарными интро последних лет, так и с заставками к дремучим поделкам вроде «Просто Марии» или «Рабыни Изауры».
Про сюжет писать нечего, всё сказано выше людьми, знакомыми с источником. Я же был ни в зуб ногой и очень рад, что поверил в талант и Голдсмана и, несомненно, Тома Холланда. Ну вот правильно говорит один из деятелей из телевизора: «Когда вкусно, тогда вкусно».

Браво Том Холланд!👏🏼 Просто великолепная игра, я знала, что он отличный актер, но этот сериал окончательно поставил точки над i🏆 Аманда очень хороша, очаровательная женщина, их тандем просто бомбаогоньвзрыв! И конечно же Эмми, ее хоть и не так много в сериале, но очень уж я ее обожаю и не могу не упомянуть, что она потрясающая🤍 Последняя серия просто заставила рыдать от осознания всего ужаса, что произошло с гг. Сериал определенно стоит потраченного времени!
Прекрасный сериал, однозначно в топе любимых. История целостная, погружает в себя. Актёры так замечательно отыграли эмоциональный накал, происходящий на суде... До мурашек и дрожи.
Хороший сериал, очень сильно удивлен, как Том Холланд сыграл, даже не ожидал от него такого. Правда показалось немного, что в финале как-то смазанно вышло, резкий переход от Адама к оправданию, не хватило чуток что ли, но это мелочи. В остальном - прекрасно.
Отличная экранизация Билли (Дэнни) Миллигана (Салливана). Твердая пятерка от меня. Давно ждал подобной экранизации Билли Миллигана, не поделок на эту тему, а именно максимально приближенного к тому, как подал это Дэн Киз в своем романе.
Действительно прекрасный сериал. Прямо эмоционально меня перетряхнул. Хотела бы узнать, почему, как говорят, критики его ругают. По мне, практически нет фальшивых нот.

Под конец сериала я практически влюбилась в него! 😍Шикарный актер, сыграл великолепно. Книгу Киза читала давно и люблю эту историю, нахожу эту тему очень интересной. В сериале история другая и с книгой общая только идея, но мне понравилось, она по-своему хороша, интересно рассказана и прекрасно сыграна. С удовольствием посмотрела и порекомендую друзьям.
История Билли Миллигана сама по себе очень интересная и я очень обрадовалась, когда узнала, что выйдет сериал на основе этой истории.
Во-1, Холланд. Я абсолютно не его фанатка и видела только как он играл паучка, поэтому у меня не было каких-то завышенных ожиданий, но он справился на 10/10. Даже не думала, что Холланд так шикарно играет.
Вообще все актеры сыграли очень хорошо. У меня кровь стынет от отчима и мамаши, ее "нет" в предпоследней серии просто привело меня в бешенство, а еще больше печалит тот факт, что такие мамаши реально существуют.
Во-2, сюжет. Понравилось как именно развивается история, как раскрывают сущность главного героя. Конечно, для меня "сюжетный поворот" не был сюрпризом, но показали круто. Есть моменты, которые не до конца раскрыли, но все равно сериал достойный!

Дождалась выхода всех серий и залпом посмотрела за сутки сие сериальное чудо. Ну что сказать,эмоции бьют через край,весь их спектр – от недоумения до злости,от ненависти до сострадания…какой же шикарный сюжет! Так в своё время и не дошли руки до книги Дэниела Киза про Билли,хотя тот же его роман «цветы для Элджернона» был с упоением прочитан,возможно стоило всё-таки и про Билли почитать…но при этом хорошо,что всё в «Переполненной комнате» было мне в новинку в плане сюжета,пусть это и вольная интерпретация книги. Том Холланд,боже,несите ему Эмми или глобус за эту роль Дэнни Салливана,заслужил на все 100%! А любимая моя Аманда Сайфред,так приятно видеть её спустя года после не менее удачных и любимых картин в столь отличном сериале! Джейсон Айзекс это вообще британский боженька,играет сложных мужских персонажей на ура! Эмми Россум мне запомнилась нежной и хрупкой Кристиной в «Призраке оперы», и увидеть её в столь противоречивой роли матери Дэнни – слов нет,одни эмоции… Узнав всю историю реального Билли Миллигана,не книжного, в голове возник ещё больший ряд вопросов,стоило ли его жалеть или нет…но сериал воспринялся как выдумка,поэтому здесь персонажам сопереживать легче,нежели реальным персонам,особенно преступникам… В общем и целом запоминающаяся история,надеюсь однажды вернуться и освежить память пересмотром «Переполненной комнаты».
Не понимаю, как я мог пропустить этот сериал во время его выхода Я очень рад, что, наконец, экранизировали историю Билли Миллигана, хоть и в свободном пересказе. Да, сравнивать сериал с книгой нельзя, это отдельная история, и поначалу я даже не видел ничего общего, но всё равно было приятно видеть некоторые отсылки. Например, очень понравилось, как показали "выход на свет". В некотором плане, мне даже жалко, что я заранее знал о сути ситуации, поэтому заранее предполагал, что друзья Денни - это его личности, поэтому для меня такой каминг-аут не сыграл должного эффекта "вау" Единственное, что я не понял: насколько мне помнится, в книге была ещё одна нежелательная личность, которую все боялись и пытались подавить. И в какой-то серии тоже говорилось о том, что "нужно быть готов, когда монстр снова вырвется", а по итогу никакого монстра не было. Так про кого они говорили?
Спасибо всем богам за субтитры! То как Том играет голосом, акцентами, интонацией просто завораживающе. Многие сравнивают этот сериал со Сплитом, а Холланда с МакЭвоем, но Джеймс нервно курит в сторонке, поскольку не показал ни одной смены персонажа "в реальном времени", прямо в кадре, когда сразу меняется осанка, взгляд, выражение лица и ты видишь, что перед тобой другой персонаж. Она могла быть жертвой сколько угодно, но позволить кому-то такое сотворить с твоим ребенком?! Нет, этого я просто не могу простить. Глотку бы выгрызла... Сериал довольно тяжёлый и, несмотря на довольно простой сюжет и посыл, заставляющий над многими вещами задуматься, а такое не всем нравится, мне - в том числе, но посмотрела с удовольствием. В избранное он не войдет, такие сериалы не созданы для пересматривания, ими наслаждаешься единожды.
Бедный ребёнок, сколько боли он пережил. История действительно получилась душераздирающей. Снято просто великолепно и рада была увидеть Тома в другой роли, надеюсь у него их будет ещё больше.
Боже, потрясающий сериал! Игра Тома для меня - раскрытие его как актера, просто шикарный, как менялся, как предавал разных личностей! Понравилось, что личностей показали и разных людей, и преображение самого Денни (в отличие от того же сплита, где был один актер, но в разных одеждах и тд)
И приятно видеть, что за основу взяли книгу про Билли Миллигана Читала ее давно, но прям окунулась в сюжет, вспоминая уже пережитые эмоции

оказывается, можно вместо истории Билли Миллигана рассказать историю Дэнни Салливана, похожую и непохожую разом, и при этом суметь уловить и воссоздать то самое чувство, которое лет 12 назад заставило меня однодневным запоем читать документальный роман Киза. воссоздать - и заставить таким же запоем посмотреть сегодня все десять серий подряд. и снова разбить мое сердце вдребезги. вот эта авторская чуткость дорогого стоит.
а Тому Холланду - стоячая овация, впрочем, я в нем почему-то и не сомневалась.
Великолепный сериал! До мурашек. Сначала было не понятно, не понятно как реагировать, для чего это все показывают, но потом... просто шикарно развернули события, объяснили каждую сцену из первых серий, прям захотелось пересмотреть сначала, чтобы взглянуть на происходящее под другим углом! Сериал заставляет задуматься насколько же жесток наш мир и на что человеческий мозг готов пойти ради самосохранения. Потрясающая игра актеров, особенно Тома, он раскрылся на все 100. Мне нравится его игра и в других ролях и я всегда считала его талантливым, но то какую игру он показал в этом сериале - это совершенно другой уровень. Браво! Обязательно пересмотрю ещё раз!
Я зла на мать Дэна, что ппц. Да, я поняла объяснение Рии, что она тоже жертва, но не могу успокоиться. Не хочу виктимблеймить, поэтому не буду расписывать, но там столько раз была возможность выплыть из всего этого дерьма. Очень удобно, ну правда!👿
Я очень долго откладывала этот сериал, почему-то почти полгода боялась его начать смотреть…и теперь понятно почему, это пиздец как тяжело!! Я буквально проревела всю последнюю серию (и не только)..это все так несправедливо, такие ужасные вещи не должны случаться ни с кем, тем более с детьми, все что мне хотелось после просмотра финальной серии - крепко обнять Дэнни, и от всей души поаплодировать Тому!!! Том для меня не открытие, я еще с фильма «Невозможное» знала, что он блестящий актер!! Но тут..в этой роли он буквально прекрасен и бесподобен!! Желаю ему всех наград этого мира!
Читала обе книги и очень ждала экранизацию. Первые серии были очень скучные и затянутые, даже была мысль бросить, но с середины зацепило, и чем дальше, тем становилось интереснее, напряжённее. Финал получился светлым, и на мой взгляд даже слишком светлым - Дэнни после суда попал в настоящий рай в больнице. Но, насколько я помню по книгам, Билли был в больнице Лайма (Лима), и там было настоящий ад для него. После окончания книг у меня тоже осталось светлое чувство, но перед этим было столько боли, а тут это как будто немного обесценили.
Офигенный сериал! Вот бы побольше сериалов с расщеплением личности, а не с раздвоением. Очень интересно наблюдать как актер отыгрывает разных людей (со своим характером, особенностями, повадками). Это явно один из лучших сериалов этого года
Я не могу понять, почему сериал получил отрицательную критику. Однако, понимаю, что тема сериала сложная и тяжелая, и нарастающий темп в первых сериях был необходим для ее передачи. мне понравилось детальное и плавное начало сериала, которое позволило воспринимать все личности Дэнни как части его личности. Актеры просто молодцы. Последняя серия была великолепна. Хотелось бы больше таких сериалов, которые затрагивают важные психологические темы. Я начала читать книгу, которая вдохновила на создание этого сериала, и хочу отметить, что это два абсолютно разных произведения. Сериал вызывает широкий спектр эмоций и в конечном итоге позволяет понять проблемы главного героя. Рекомендую.
@vk1366964: возможно потому что сериал позиционируется как основанный на Билли Миллигане, и тут много чего взято из реальной истории, но при этом изменено в угоду истории и зрелищности.
Благодаря последним сериям сериал заслужил 5 звездочек, игра актеров просто высший уровень, к финалу раскрытие сюжета достигает апогея, единственный минус который я для себя подчеркнул, это затянутость, можно было уложиться в те же 8 серий
The last words Danny said seemed to be spoken by Adam. It was as if Denis had given in to him and allowed him to come to the fore, for being in debt to him. Plus the paintings are Adam's memories, not Danny's. It seems to me that everything ended up that way.
The scene of realizing that he is Adam, just goosebumps, emotions over the edge!

What a terrible, detailed answer was to this question, beyond human understanding.

A great series, caused a wide range of different emotions!
Well, it was a great journey of ten episodes and almost two months, and I will definitely recommend this series in the future as the best thing that happened in 2023. because this is not just a detective story about some crime in the USA of the late seventies (as it may seem in the first two series) and certainly not a biopic about a serial killer. this work is about how to find healing even when the whole world betrays you endlessly. this work is about what psychiatry and psychology workers have to face on the way to helping patients without the right to break down under the weight of other people's injuries. and of course this work is about the fact that even the closest people do not necessarily have to stay with you forever and that you have the right and should always protect yourself, ask for help when necessary and take care of yourself (without "guardian angels" and certainly without the help of an alter ego).
what else would I really like at the end of the series is punishment? that is, yes, most likely Danny's stepfather was fired and suspended from working with children, about his biological father we only know how vile he was and not a word about his real one. I would just like to know that these two characters were eventually torn away from the world, just as their actions were torn away from the real world of Danny himself.
in the end, I was also pleased that the main character did not follow the canons of forgiveness and really tried to cut off the connection with his mother for his own sake and out of self-care, despite all the (seemingly) support that she gave him as a child. this is a very strong and true message - always choose yourself and your comfort, and I am very grateful for it.

I really liked the series. Captured the attention from the first episode and did not let go.
There were a lot of emotions and thoughts throughout the series, but now it's not possible to collect everything to the pile. I admit, the first series tired me at some point, but the topic is complex and difficult and it was such an increasing pace that was needed. Everything was worked out in such detail and smoothly served, as a result of which all the personalities of Danny performed by other actors were perceived as parts of Danny, and not different characters.
I really liked Amanda Seyfried. Raya was the conductor of the pain that Danny had to experience, and as Danny himself said, his savior. I was worried, sad and happy with her, there were very strong scenes and monologues.

Personally, I've had a feeling of hopelessness for the last few episodes (especially after ending 9). But the finale, on the contrary, despite the obviously difficult moments (Danny's realization about Adam, a conversation with his mother), gave hope for the best. I am glad for Danny: for finding out the truth; for being acquitted (= his problem was recognized) and he is undergoing treatment; for finally becoming completely himself.
I think "Crowded Room" managed to properly convey an important moral and strike the right chord in my soul as a viewer. Character development, acting, visual component, soundtracks (The Beatles and Pink Floyd a few episodes earlier), etc. — everything worked as it should.
We certainly need more such works that raise serious topics with special sensitivity and empathy.
But at the same time, it is quite mentally heavy or painful, not for watching popcorn, so it needs its own audience

Многие отмечали качество интро. Согласен на все 100. Хорошая работа, но я, честно сказать, даже и не удивлён ни разу. Сейчас делать что-то серое и незапоминающееся — не уважать ни зрителя, ни себя. Для интересующихся, на ютубе много роликов как с шикарными интро последних лет, так и с заставками к дремучим поделкам вроде «Просто Марии» или «Рабыни Изауры».
Про сюжет писать нечего, всё сказано выше людьми, знакомыми с источником.
Я же был ни в зуб ногой и очень рад, что поверил в талант и Голдсмана и, несомненно, Тома Холланда.
Ну вот правильно говорит один из деятелей из телевизора: «Когда вкусно, тогда вкусно».
Просто великолепная игра, я знала, что он отличный актер, но этот сериал окончательно поставил точки над i🏆

Давно ждал подобной экранизации Билли Миллигана, не поделок на эту тему, а именно максимально приближенного к тому, как подал это Дэн Киз в своем романе.
Во-1, Холланд. Я абсолютно не его фанатка и видела только как он играл паучка, поэтому у меня не было каких-то завышенных ожиданий, но он справился на 10/10. Даже не думала, что Холланд так шикарно играет.
Вообще все актеры сыграли очень хорошо. У меня кровь стынет от отчима и мамаши, ее "нет" в предпоследней серии просто привело меня в бешенство, а еще больше печалит тот факт, что такие мамаши реально существуют.
Во-2, сюжет. Понравилось как именно развивается история, как раскрывают сущность главного героя. Конечно, для меня "сюжетный поворот" не был сюрпризом, но показали круто. Есть моменты, которые не до конца раскрыли, но все равно сериал достойный!
Однозначно буду советовать его друзьям!

Джейсон Айзекс это вообще британский боженька,играет сложных мужских персонажей на ура! Эмми Россум мне запомнилась нежной и хрупкой Кристиной в «Призраке оперы», и увидеть её в столь противоречивой роли матери Дэнни – слов нет,одни эмоции…
Узнав всю историю реального Билли Миллигана,не книжного, в голове возник ещё больший ряд вопросов,стоило ли его жалеть или нет…но сериал воспринялся как выдумка,поэтому здесь персонажам сопереживать легче,нежели реальным персонам,особенно преступникам…
В общем и целом запоминающаяся история,надеюсь однажды вернуться и освежить память пересмотром «Переполненной комнаты».

Я очень рад, что, наконец, экранизировали историю Билли Миллигана, хоть и в свободном пересказе.
Да, сравнивать сериал с книгой нельзя, это отдельная история, и поначалу я даже не видел ничего общего, но всё равно было приятно видеть некоторые отсылки. Например, очень понравилось, как показали "выход на свет".
В некотором плане, мне даже жалко, что я заранее знал о сути ситуации, поэтому заранее предполагал, что друзья Денни - это его личности, поэтому для меня такой каминг-аут не сыграл должного эффекта "вау"
Единственное, что я не понял: насколько мне помнится, в книге была ещё одна нежелательная личность, которую все боялись и пытались подавить. И в какой-то серии тоже говорилось о том, что "нужно быть готов, когда монстр снова вырвется", а по итогу никакого монстра не было. Так про кого они говорили?
Многие сравнивают этот сериал со Сплитом, а Холланда с МакЭвоем, но Джеймс нервно курит в сторонке, поскольку не показал ни одной смены персонажа "в реальном времени", прямо в кадре, когда сразу меняется осанка, взгляд, выражение лица и ты видишь, что перед тобой другой персонаж.
