This is the first donghua that I decided to try to watch, mainly because isekai is my favorite genre, and this title also has voice acting from Anilibria.
At first I was afraid that I started watching at the wrong time, because the final episode will be released only in 6 days, and if I like it, then I will watch 11 episodes in one gulp, and then I will suffer for a week waiting for the finale. But already at the fifth minute I realized one problem, because of which I might quit watching after a couple of episodes.
In principle, I am not a graphonodrocher, and I calmly treat both 3D animation inserts into ordinary anime (I adore "Yes, I'm a spider, so what?", I was not a bit bothered by the clusters of black souls in the "Overlord" ...) and fully 3D anime (probably... because I visually like Land of Lustrous and Beastars from trailers and reviews on YouTube, but I haven't watched these anime yet), however, in the case of the "Weakest Monster", the fact that everything looks like the gameplay of Genshin Impact or Honkai Starrail plays into the hands of the work, because according to the plot, the main character is transferred to the world of video games. HOWEVER! for unknown reasons, when we first watch a flashback about how he and his friends killed 50,000 slugs in the game, everything is drawn in the traditional technique, and it looked a hundred times better than what was shown before the opening, in the opening itself and then after being transferred through the portal. Why tease the viewer with a good stylish drawing, if you continue to use 3D models that are far from perfect?
Otherwise, the idea is curious, and perhaps on this curiosity I will get to the end of the season through visual barriers and unusual elements.
@mizzerbiz: in China, you can not show a skeleton and skulls, according to tradition, this can disturb the dead, who are very respected. It's strange that in Manhua they decided to draw a skeleton, although there is something inside it, maybe that's why
I've watched only 1 episode so far against the background, because the world of such games is far away, I'm not particularly impressed, but maybe I'll watch a couple more episodes to understand how much it's mine or not) the hero is funny
