Isabella is somehow fake through and through. Luke is in love with Megan initially and got together with Isabella only because Meg hung out with their mutual friend.
Brent is a rare piece of shit, just like his and Luke's dad...

@juliawishes: Luke was in love with Megan, but for some reason it didn't stop him when he flirted with Isabella and even dated her, before she hooked up with their friend. So it was Megan who hooked up with a friend precisely because Luke was with Isabella. I agree to everything else 💯

As for me, it's immediately obvious that Luke is in love with Meg, and Meg is in love with him. Isabella is just a catalyst, even though she's new and sweet and pretty and blah blah blah. It often happens in companies that they run into new people, although no one really needs it in the end.

@CoffeeGirl: the swimsuit was already in the future, when Meg and Luke were already together - Meg was jealous for a reason, they say so much time has passed, what is this swimsuit doing here. I think they showed us Megan's C+ grade because she will fake her grades in the future to go to college and get a scholarship. No wonder in this series it was shown that she is perfectly able to forge documents. Also, her friend's secret may be that he helped her fake grades. And I'm also sure that Steve/Brent is involved in Luke's murder!

For some reason, even on the first episode, I thought that the topic of pregnancy would be involved, but they screwed it up well. I also believe that repeated forgery of documents will be revealed, who knows, maybe there was no letter from the college. Megan's mom is strange, the phrase "our family needs a normal adult" was good. It feels like her mom is 15 and they're just playing mother's daughters. But it's difficult to understand who killed. Luke's family is unpleasant in general, so if it suddenly turns out to be the work of his brother or father, I wouldn't be surprised at all. The witch hunt begins.

I don't know, for some reason I don't share the general distrust towards Isabella. She is just a child who pays off her parents and who is trying to find her place in society. In previous episodes, Isabella mentioned that she is just an appendage in her family. I think her attempts to take responsibility for the tape and help Megan's mom are just a desperate attempt to strengthen herself in a new family.

And I was thinking that maybe it would even be interesting if the sheriff (even though he seems suspicious to me) guessed and tells us the truth, because everyone is already used to that if someone is shown guilty, then 95% of the time, they are not to blame. And then it would turn out that they initially point to the perpetrators.

And so most likely they have some secrets of their own, which are not particularly or indirectly related to the murder.
