Once upon a time, the first season of "The Rise of the Hero of the Shield" tore off my tower completely, becoming not only my favorite isekai, but also one of my favorite series in principle. The second season was not disgusting, but the drawdown compared to the first was so catastrophic that it just physically hurts. And now all hope is that "magic" will return in the third season. The beginning seems to be good, but also not as catchy as the beginning of the first season.

The outstanding qualities of the first season of The Rise of the Shield Hero were the most gorgeous conflict (both with the idiot of the Spear, and especially with the most hated villain in history - the red-haired bitch), and how Naofumi was forced to climb to the top from the very bottom, through a bunch of obstacles, while still remaining the strongest, smartest and luckiest. If only this formula could be repeated, please!
