A very cool comeback! Jokes with zakos under the scrapping of the fourth wall a la "it usually takes eight episodes for us to do this", the general insane atmosphere of the production, a murder that turned out not to be a murder, and then still a murder... And also the personal situations for each of the trio were very well chosen.

Our podcaster trio is back in business! And awesome Meryl Streep!

It's very interesting to watch the development of Mabel's character... It is clearly visible that the girl is at a crossroads and is looking for her place in life. However, she is drawn to investigations and podcasts, and she loves her partners. I'm very sorry for Oliver. Broadway does not accept him and this fact is very much affected.

The plot is interesting, just like last season. But it seems to me that there is more depression in the series and less light humor?

Still, I do not like such a double plot, when the screenwriters essentially write about themselves, about the inner kitchen, somehow it is always too grotesque and the line of realism is blurred even more. I don't know, everyone plays great, but the atmosphere of intimacy and the house with murders somehow got lost, before the series were somehow more cozy and conveyed such a nostalgic autumn New York, in which I wanted to wrap myself in a warm blanket. And here is some kind of showbiz antics... But this is my taste, of course

I agree with you. Some elusive charm was gone. If Meryl Streep turns out to be the killer, then you can generally close the case, but in general, the reporter is still very suspicious. Maybe it was a good performance, but she said it on purpose for her own reasons.
And so, in general, it's not very good yet, despite the favorite characters and the beautiful new ones...

Кризис тридцати лет настин Мейбл Моро, добро пожаловать в клуб.

"И справку о том, что я слишком слаб, чтобы убивать" -- нелепость и Чарльз снова вместе, снова рядом.

Бедный Оливер, так долго шел к этому возвращению на Бродвей, и такой облом, конечно ему сложно смириться. То, как он прет напролом и понятно, и супер в духе персонажа.

Ох уж эти связи так удачно запутанные, что Мейбл влюблена в образ броБена, и он помог ей пережить тяжёлый период, а Чарльз уволил малышом, и тот решил испортить ему жизнь в ответ. Занятно, но немнооооого натянуто.
Еще и новый детектив их у безумного сталкера выловил, Уильямс видимо в уход по ребенку ушла. Жаль, я люблю ее ворчания на наших безумных подкастеров.

- У Боба Фосси было штук пять.
- И последний его убил.
- Ты читал его биографию!
Только Оливер пережив инфаркт может радоваться, что сын приобщился к искусству XD

Вообще соглашусь с верхними комментаторами, что камерность определенно потеряна. Только я не могу понять, насколько мне это мешает наслаждаться, потому что тему театра и внутряка шоу бизнеса я тоже очень люблю, и она всегда в этом сериале была, просто не на первом плане, как сейчас. Посмотрим как разовьют дальше.
