Поняла, что так будет, ещё когда в первой серии его чуть не сбили. Укрепилось в этом предположении из-за того, как хорошо всё шло. Вот она, насмотренность... Но всё равно грустно.
Вот и случайность, о которой говорит сам Келвин. Вот та неожиданность, хоть и она не из числа приятных, случилась с ним. Жизнь и вправду череда случайностей, некоторые сопоставимы в последовательность, некоторые, как кирпич упавший с неба.
Начало сериала явно работало на то, чтобы неулыбчивой главной героине досталось чуть-чуть симпатии зрителя, но не слишком много. И Бри Ларссон в этой роли с этим заданием отлично справилась. А вот нежный-влюбленный гений-ворчун явно должен был очаровать зрителя и Льюис Пуллман (которого я до этого сериала знать не знал и нигде не видел) всего за две серии проделал это виртуозно. А в конце БАМ — драма. Эх! Всё ради того, чтобы вызвать у зрителя больше эмпатии к героине, полагаю. Чтож, будем посмотреть, что там у неё дальше.
Отношение к женщинам в научном мире просто скотское, прям до слез обидно за Элизабет.
Черт! Начиналось так красиво... а закончилось ужасно несправедливо и трагично. Герой очаровательный, умный и эмпатичный, умеет слушать. Они так подходят друг другу. Ну почему должна случится подобная херня?!
Учитывая, что сериал не о том, как героиня достигает высот в науке, а о том, как она делает кулинарное телешоу, очевидно, что что-то должно было пойти в их истории категорически не так. И пошло самым тяжким путём. Человек иногда внезапно смертен, от этого никуда не уйдёшь.
