Awesome! Who was missing, an overdose of hyper-eyes Satoru is provided. It's cool that we decided to make such a flashback arch to reveal the characters of that time.
It's a pity, of course, Toji, he was such a gigachad. Earth to him with corpses. Well, at least he remembered his son, so he does not get into the list of "fathers of the year".
I still didn't have enough of something. Either Gojo's madness, or the scope of his duel with Toji. I'm not saying that this is a minus, apparently, reading the manga, I just imagined this episode differently. But the scene with the applause at the end again morally killed me (if anyone missed it, it's after the ending).
@Kerriliana: I checked out this chapter in the manga and... read the entire arch. Gege is incredibly GOOD, these crazy eyes, feral smile, real pleasant goosebumps on the body from these frames! For some reason, the anime version is not so powerful. But Nakamura Yuichi, like seiyu, gave his all.
@Shikisen_Hishune: that's right, it also seemed that way. I have been waiting for this moment very much, and as a result, it is shown much better in the manga (as well as a little further on "only I am worthy"), it seems to me that it is a matter of perspective. Although the voice actor really tried his best.
@sonarana: To be honest, Satoru even looks funny in the anime version, whereas in the manga it's almost frightening how out of his mind he is. The atmosphere seemed completely different to me.
I got high from the way Nakamura Yuichi recently voiced Buddha, and not so much later - Satoru with the same phrase :D Both, by the way, have beautiful eyes, and in general too handsome.
I didn't expect a change in the last scene with Rico. In the previous episode, the camera angle didn't change when Riko fell. But this time we follow her all the way down, falling with her.
I agree with the others, it's really as if something was missing, I don't even know what. But, in principle, I liked Toji's murder. Very bright and colorful lighting, soft and beautiful piano. Satoru's remarks are calm, not flashy. The emphasis is that he is not even a devil, he just does not feel anything. This is not a fight scene like "my girlfriend was killed, and I'm going into a fit of rage to get revenge." In fact, it was the COLLAPSE of GOJO SATORU. He was a teenager, and Rico's death was the loss of his innocence. And, of course, a lot of his beautiful eyes.
From the death of Toji norm, probably? Nothing is clear about him, except that he is a hot m**ila-a father who easily kills children if they pay. I'm sorry for Megumi and his sister, they probably loved him. It would be interesting to know about their mother.
The scene after ED is interesting. The applause is deafening, Satoru's apathy caused goosebumps. I liked how Suguru in the bright blue light, Satoru in the red darkness. Where Suguru is about to go crazy, but is still shown in the light in a classically good blue color. While Satoru has strengthened his beliefs and morals, but walks in the dark in a classically evil red. You'd think Satoru was the one who was going to go over to the dark side, but no. Suguru's very foundations have been shaken, and now he has begun his path of darkness, even while in the light. As Satoru walks through the darkness, more confident in his place in the world than ever. Wow, both good and painful.
One more episode, and then the expectations of the Shibuya arch in the present... Despite my some disappointments, the series left vivid impressions: because of the voice acting, because of the fights. The final scene after the ending... I love her and hate her. Gojo and Geto are just teenagers, not to mention poor Rico, and now their lives have been turned upside down. Just remember what they were like at the beginning of the second season, and now. I have a difficult relationship with Toji, as a character he is cool, but yes, his end did not cause any emotions in me now, he caused too much pain to the others.
Wow what a powerful series! Xs, why for some it was not "put the squeeze on". While watching, I literally got goosebumps from the greatness of Gojo, it just feels like he is a god and a supreme being. I was even scared of him. I've been reading manga for a long time (and abandoned it) and I'm pretty neutral about it. On the contrary, it seems to me that Mapp has improved the scenes many times. While reading the manga, I do not remember that I was somehow "hooked" and made any impression of the panel with Gojo "stoned". In general, the taste.
Again, this feeling that you do not fully understand the explanation of techniques and dialogues (at least the words "sect head"). I love and hate magicka for this I really liked Toji's fight/Geto, almost every 10 seconds I wanted to review and choose this gorgeous animation when you just pause during Toji/Gojo 😌
She lost her voice from Toji's face when he remembered that his son's name was Megumi. "So padazhzhi I so called the child like" ("=_=)
Toji is partly right that Satoru is a monster. Not even because this is an outrageous power for one person, but because he was not torn apart by this power.
The gifted boy was attacked by the structure of the world in all its details, he does not feel anything because he has an overdose — he knows and feels ~ everything~. It's like simultaneously seeing a finished house and the plans of each of its floors in small details and textures, and at the same time hearing the creak of floorboards on the stairs and how a beetle sharpens a load-bearing beam, knowing exactly the type of wood of the beam and exactly how this beetle looks. And all this multiplied by infinity.
It's amazing that Satoru not only didn't go crazy after this, but also remained a man in every sense of the word. Toji tells him about his son and is like, "do whatever you want with it." And what did Satoru do? He is Megumi's guardian. Although he is at such an exorbitant metaphysical level that the life of some random kid should not have any meaning for him. But it does, because despite all his quirks, he's actually just a good guy. So I love him, I'm sorry 🥲
Mapp 👏 is a gorgeous series, a picture — you are suffocating from drawing and the number of hours, effort and money spent on fights and Gojo's dazed eyes. He ascended straight from the bible in this episode.
The scene after ED and how Geto and Gojo metaphorically switch places: definitely expect trouble.
