If they can do it so quickly, then it would be better to send resources to the details.

To tell the truth, they took too long with the narration. 7 seasons is too much for a plot-oriented teen series.

It reminds me of the last seasons of Game of Thrones, when they scored on the distances between locations, and the characters simply teleported back and forth for the sake of the plot.

Somehow, Astrid (a celestial elf) quickly abandoned the rules that she had followed since birth and decided to intervene in the course of events (and even took off her blindfold!). It seems to me that when you live in such a closed community, these rules are something very indisputable for you. I wonder if it's really impossible to change the course of events, or if no one from the elves has tried. Maybe Cosmo told her some other important detail that would help change the outcome.
Aaravos, in his repertoire, convinced Claudia that he was helping her, although he was obviously using her for his own purposes. I am sure that Aaravos himself gave Claudia hope that her father's soul could be imprisoned in the everlost, as he thinks that his daughter's soul is there. I was also amused by Aaravos' attempt to make the evil queen look like Snow White by offering Callum an apple. We already know that Aaravos is the most beautiful, it was unnecessary, hehe.
Of course, Raila found someone to bring to Catholis, it would be possible to leave Runan outside the city, and visit Kallum herself. I personally understand Ezran's reaction here, like, what the hell is my father's killer just walking around the castle and everyone is fine.
In general, the season started off interesting and continues to be gloomy, just like the last one.
