@am4am5: Yes, we finally decided to take a sharp walk again, now on the near future of the GMO food industry =))
By the way, did you know that we already have a lot of seeds for sale that do not bloom? And even in Russia there are a lot of fertilizers and herbicides (the same "Roundup") produced by this very fucking Monsanto, which I learned about along with this problem from Continuum (where it was called Sonmanto - generally a transparent hint), how many years ago it was there. And now, with great difficulty and great luck, I have rooted basil from the bazaar, which looks and tastes exactly like from purchased seeds, but blooms and gives offspring. This future is not far off at all, but already here. Don't be lazy, stock up on your seeds, who has a vegetable garden, or you might have to go into the forest, like those Luddites (about seeds was announced at the beginning of the second season, but surely not everyone realized how important this detail is now) =))
@Djigman: it probably means that hybrids grow from purchased seeds that cannot produce seeds and offspring- therefore this is already a mutation, it is best to propagate varietal species, if basil from the bazaar gives seeds, then this proves that it is not a hybrid. Plus, I did not understand the minuses for the girl's comment - for example, I also do not smile that thanks to the development of GMOs and herbicides, half of the country can no longer eat gluten without side effects, cow's milk due to a gene mutation goes again with type 1 casein, although it used to be 2nd and was really useful.
@AtomicTroll: Am I having a GMO tantrum? You misunderstood. Personally, I am more concerned that seeds should be bought every year in such an "economy". Okay, a pack of basil is bullshit, but whole fields of all sorts of cereals for farms and farms more? That's where the corporate horror stories are! GMO is not allowed to eat what is useful, but to increase profits, that's the problem. In the case of a post-April disaster, this is fraught with the fact that it will be impossible to maintain a subsistence economy when the supply chain collapses if natural self-reproducing plants give oak (here we recall other TV series ...)
@Djigman: I have a bit of a problem with cutting grass, this is one time. Two - in order to propagate it by cuttings, it must be cultivated all year round, or what? And the conditions in my hut are unsuitable - it dries in one room, it's too cold in the other. And at all. I only need one natural cycle in the warm season and next spring again - cutting is not suitable for this. I'm not on an industrial scale, but just to eat the freshest grass. A bunch from the bazaar wilts before I can overpower it, no matter how much I store it in the refrigerator (and I learned to maintain the grass there for quite a long time, unlike a glass of water, where it wilts for the life of me in 9/10 cases instead of taking root, I don't know what's the matter. It turned out with mint only once, and this one with basil, bought already in the spring, and then planted in the soil and bloomed in due time).
@Zy4: And do you tolerate all seasons of mediocrity? Uh, good luck to you. Hold on. Revisit the sparkling series of a mediocre office in difficult times
more and more people are moving from light smihuychikov to harsh cyberpunk, with the poor and greedy omnipotent corporations. and they will bring the redhead to the AI uprising not far away
@iken: and I can't get rid of the feeling that in general we are really getting poorer and in return we get only a digital surrogate, there is no money for travel — watch travel blogs, there is no money for a tutor - watch lessons on YouTube, there is not enough communication — open a chat and so on. Not such a harsh cyberpunk, it looks like reality, just hyperbolized for clarity.
What a cool wife he has, yes, not the smartest, but she loves him so much, and the new hairstyle is cute, it's so cute I just don't understand, why did they go to the cow, for what?
No, not just you. I honestly gave the series another chance after the unintelligible end of the second season. What do we have? The absolute absence of any chemistry between the main characters. A very strangely prescribed script for a couple and flat worthless dialogues. The first season is sparkling, unusually emotional, lively. I don't understand, if this is a trick, then what are the screenwriters driving at? Further, the outline of the narrative itself is unclear, where does the plot develop? What kind of Luddites, farmers, cow tits? If this is satire, then it is very mediocre at the level of toilet comedies. It's a pity, it's a pity, there was such potential, such an idea. Only the arch of the Hatch remained interesting, and even then these flirtations with quirbiting, well, that kind of thing.. they bend it out of the blue. The character is certainly interesting, but there is zero development, interaction again. We are looking further, but so far there is more disappointment. Unfortunately, I do not share the enthusiasm about the "gorgeous series".
The series is a critique of capitalism in a capitalist society, at the facilities of one of the largest and most capitalized companies - Amazon. Naturally, with low ratings, screenwriters must maneuver so as not to offend or hurt the feelings of any majority or minorities. If there was more credibility among the audience and fearlessness among the authors of the series in front of their own employers, it would naturally be possible to be tougher, more provocative and sharper about the shortcomings of capitalism. But then these same employers shut down the series or transferred it to other screenwriters so that everything would remain vanilla. The title actor Robert Amell starred in another, quite good film, criticizing capitalism, "Code 8", to which a sequel will be filmed. But the problem with all these films is that they don't give an answer to what to do next for the viewer, other than just praying that someone else will fix the situation and make their lives better.
It seems that you understand that the screenwriters and actors tried to portray that they say love at a " distance " and real love can be different , that she imagined Nate to be more cool than he is, and that's it. But in the third season, it's still being shown in a strange way. Nate just became a little bit of a fucker at some points. Just like that, out of the blue. It kind of pisses me off. The series did not have enough stars from the sky in previous seasons (purely for my personal taste!), but so far this is also here..
