the beginning is just aaaaa! but it is immediately clear that the dream. for fans of the bearded steed and typical fairy tale reunions.
Izzy, poor Izzy! but the one with the balls from the team at the same time. although he just still feels guilty. and he really cares about Edward.
but I still start crying on the toxic suffering Edward. It's all taiki magic!

Izzy is sorry, but he is reaping the fruits planted by his own hands, it was he who turned Ed into a monster that he was not before meeting Steed. But, I want to believe that this is the road to his redemption arc this season, especially considering the moment he accepted consolation from the team
I really didn't like the hints about Jim and Oluwande's relationship with new people, I'm really looking forward to their reunion as a couple.
Most of all, I naturally feel sorry for Ed, who spoils the life of everyone around him, but first of all his own, simply because he has no one to talk to, and he no longer believes in love.
Rhys is so handsome this season!!! This shabby careless bow suits him insanely, especially in contrast to the sleek outfits and hairstyle last season
The new dude who lost his nose at the end of the series is disgusting, I was scared at first that he would join the team, even though I understood that he was the noseless one from the trailer

The beginning of the season is great, the same cool combination of drama and humorous moments.
of course, the scale and tone are incomparable, but the beginning made me remember the s03e01 "Sherlock" released almost ten years ago with its cascade of fan theories on the screen and the split in the fandom caused by a sharp genre change. then the creative, let's say, part of the fans was played by the beautiful Sharon Rooney in one person - it was necessary to somehow explain to the people what it was all about now. A series like "The Flag" could not have appeared just ten years ago and, I think, the opening scene of s02e01 could not have been served in this form either. you look at all this absurdity and realize two things at the same time: first, it is very likely that they are serious; secondly, that they are serious is absolutely incredible. because the technique of "giving back to the fandom" has become not only mainstream and the driving force of this show in principle (at least if we limit ourselves to the first season), but also a parody of itself. That's probably why it's not funny. although no, it's not funny because the exposure of a dream is carried out with the help of a stupid joke (I have nothing against jokes about assholes and related phenomena, but they work mainly on contrast, and here the scene itself is completely ridiculous). Oh, well, also because for Izzy I shoot a safe shish kebab, and this stupid Steed's dream looks more logical and reasonable than the fake reality that the creators eventually made of it.
