This time Istanbul is also a city of contrasts here)) I've been watching it in two TV series already, because Turkish Intelligence is also going on in parallel.
The title of the series perfectly echoes the title theme from the credits =) it's just super.
And the series itself surpassed even the Black Mirror in coolness, because of its deflated season 6.
So it is now definitely the top among the British.
This time I didn't read / listen to the book, because I can't find it anywhere, so I'm not very familiar with the plot of season 3, except for the general description))
It's clear that Lam still leads his smoking and drinking lifestyle, but I can't figure out who needed a Stand-up, damn it???)))
I realized here what I miss the most from books! in the books (well, in the first 2, at least, I haven't read the rest yet), only Standish was allowed to call Ho "Roddy", and despite all his arrogance, Ho, for reasons unknown to himself, respected Standish and did not abuse her as much as the others. in this episode, I noticed that as soon as he received the order to search for her in hospitals, Ho immediately and without the usual barbs rushed to fulfill it, but due to the fact that we are not shown much interaction between these two characters, this zeal looks somehow uncharacteristic. you might think, of course, that well, this is Standish, everyone loves Standish, everyone wants to help her, but there was God's dandelion Struan in the first season, from which... everyone tried to stay away, and they would hardly have been so willing to look for him)) All in all, I just hope there will be more Ho and Standish this season. 😅
