In the second half of the season, they finally remembered about Summer, it remains to wait for some adventure with Jerry and Beth.
When they said "Kuato" for the first time, it was with some difficulty that I pulled out of my memory "Remember everything" with Schwartz, before Rick said it. Shtosh, we need to reconsider. It's a funny story, although it's not the first time Summer has tried to use Rick's devices for her own benefit, by again.
@gkalian: moreover, for the second season in a row, Summer's adventures are associated with classic films that she has not watched. It was a tough nut to crack last time)
Rick and Summer have their own chemistry.... The season began with the third) But if you recall the series where Rick is one-on-one with any of the family members - they really have different, prescribed relationships. And the most trusting and partnering, in fact, with Summer, not with Morty. Most likely, including because she does not allow herself to be manipulated and does not seek Rick's approval, but wants to be on a par with her grandfather.
- What's the code phrase there? - I rarely praise Grandfather
- I haven't got into the rhythm yet! - Did you guys hear that? Kill him before he gets into a rhythm!
Awesome reference to remember everything with Schwartz. Although, probably, not everyone remembers her anymore. Only a girl with three tits was not enough. 😂
Hmm, the second reference to Kuato for the season, also last season there was a similar series with Summer but about Die Hard, and the famous series about parasites also refers to Total Recall (the name of the series Total Rickall). But it's a sin to complain, the movie is cool, and Verhoeven is a master of his craft.
I'm working on minuses now, but I didn't get it: Summer is dumb, Morty is even dumber, the party is sour, the jokes are flat, only Grandpa Rick, as always, is great!
@kriptopsix: similarly. The most alien series in the season, the characters have changed, the scenario moves are stupid - it's clear as never before what left-wing people did.
@artem_dynin: I play Mobile Legends. I understand that this does not apply to "Rick and Morty". But there the character Gord constantly says "Open your mind". Those who play ML will understand me :)
At the end, it seemed like a reference to the squid game, very funny. The bomb series, I personally liked it, I didn't like the Summer series before, but now it's like a breath of fresh air
a very funny series, finally an episode with Summer, a bunch of references and of course: "how much can I fucking repeat?! Open your mind!" after the credits, the reference to the squid game went in.
By the way, if anyone did not know, then "remember everything" was filmed based on the story of the iconic Philip K. Dick ("We Can Remember It for You Wholesale", in one of the translations "We will remember you".) and there the plot is twisted more famously than it was shown in the film (they just took the idea as a basis and made an action movie out of it). And yes, Cronenberg was initially offered to make the film, but he refused, because he did not like the idea of making a funny action movie out of it, but it could have turned out to be a worse movie : D)
Open your mind!
Don't miss the scene after the credits, a reference to "The Squid Game"
