@Sich666: I have no questions about the Dot story, I did not like the stretching of the timekeeping and at the same time the almost complete absence of events in it. Part of the dream and scenes with her husband and daughter could well be shortened.

@fitzjames: Well, in general, you can always shorten, in many TV series and in previous seasons of Fargo, but there is as the writers and director intended. It is initially clear that the whole engine is in series 9 and 10.

Well, Roy found her. Someone wrote in the discussions for the last series that Ole would eventually help Dot, since they have a common enemy. Everything is coming to this, and considering how completely frostbitten Ole is, and that Dot is a tigress (even now in a cage), Roy is in trouble.
Wangyu, Roy will eventually be killed by Gator. Such childhood traumas will eventually come out with consequences.

I just want to support this episode. Obviously, its structure and construction were bold enough to confuse and scare away a certain audience, but personally, I really like such flirtations with surrealism and unusual forms in Fargo (remember only the black-and-white episode last season and bowling in the third). Despite the fact that half of Dot's plot turned out to be a dream, this "dream" really revealed a lot about the plot, adding context and details. Juno Temple is incredible!

For me, for example, almost any episode of season 3 and 4 is worse than this one) Although this series was, for the most part, a dream, it turned out to be quite fascinating and revealed the story of Dot well. Anyway, sooner or later, according to the laws of drama, it would still have to be told to the audience somehow) As for me, it turned out very original, I especially liked the part with the dolls.

I didn't really understand where Dorothy went: her plan to take Linda and go negotiate with Roy looks like a dream of a 15-year-old girl)
Anyway, Roy has her, he won't kill her, he'll take her to the ranch with him, a 500-year-old psycho is going there, which means some kind of mess is inevitable.

@CURI0SITY: скорее всего, она ехала просто за помощью: может, к каким-то старым знакомым на ранчо у Роя, может, за какими-то уликами (как говорили раньше ФБРовцы: она наверняка знает, где и кто прикопан), чтобы можно было подключить федералов полноценно и посадить Роя на пожизненное. А почему приснилась Линда - когда Дот села в кафе и посмотрела на стену, среди флайеров она увидела открытку с "Кэмп Утопия" и "блюдо дня - курочка", именно это и породило в ее сознании убежище для сбежавших женщин, которые живут единой коммуной и готовят роскошные ужины друг для друга. Не факт, что Линда вообще жива, вполне возможно, что ее люди Роя когда-то уже нашли и "вернули должок". Либо она уехала гораздо дальше, и к ней попасть уже невозможно.
Что же касается самой серии: комментаторы как будто не смотрели все предыдущие сезоны Фарго (взять хоть первый сезон и всю линию со Ставросом, рыбами и притчами) или другие сериалы вроде Голяка, где тоже в последнем сезоне для трагичной предыстории использовали кукол. Отличное решение, так как не надо вымучивать трагизм из актеров, но иносказательно все становится более, чем понятно. Хороший ход для затишья перед бурей.

I liked it, the part with the dolls was cool done. Yes, it may be delayed, but the narrative goes on, which was necessary to show. The accident, as I understand it, was this very fargo trick, an accident, circumstances, etc. The accident itself was unexpected, but the arrival of this cowboy in the ward was immediately read, of course.

It was only on this episode that an idea came to my mind: last season, on the episode with the tornado, many people said that this was a reference to The Wizard of Oz. Да, блин, сценаристы 😄 Я думала, у Дорати уже хеппи энд почти. И куклу за ночь сделала, а не годы потратила на это, и Линда с ней поехала. Но в итоге всего лишь заснула, а потом еще машина сбила. Шикарно 😂 Кстати, не совсем поняла, почему Оле так к этой бабульке привязался, что даже всплакнул, когда сын Шерифа ее убил 🤔 хотя сына этой бабки сам же и прикончил без проблем?!

В этом городке совсем ничего не замечают? Оле посреди белого дня перед домом замочил сына бабушки и н кто не видел, не слышал!? А она сама тоже странная, конечно, пофиг живём дальше.
Потом Гатор стреляет из винтовки и разбивает стекло в машине, бабушка кричит, возникает потасовка, она умирает и опять никто не реагирует 🤷🏻‍♀️
Настоящая Линда как мне кажется мертва. То что она подложила 15-летнюю девочку под мужа, конечно отвратительно. И домашнее насилие это не оправдывает.
За авно, что сам Рой избивал всех трёх жён за любую ерунду, а мужика, который делал то же самое - застрелил.
Ещё интересно, что с родителями Надин. В истории с куклами про них ничего не говорилось, она сирота?
