I am very glad to see Joe back, Vera had a more personal relationship with him than with Aidan, and this added depth to both Vera and the series (now I love the series no less, but in recent seasons there has only been a personal matter with Vera's relatives, and in the beginning there was a lot about her father, about his influence on what she has become). And what a smile blossomed on Vera's face when she noticed Joe)) After all, they were not only colleagues, but also friends (Joe even managed to drag Vera to family dinners).

I don't even remember right away if it has happened anywhere else that someone who was excluded from the main caste was returned many years later.
The series is good. A twisted intrigue spreading in different directions. And, as always, magnificent views.

Yes, it's a great series. A life intrigue tied in a knot and masterfully unraveled by our grandmother.
I watched the episode and remembered the first seasons of the series. It was interesting and dynamic. I hope that the spirit of the first seasons has returned with Joe.

The series is good. Especially the vibe between Vera and Joe. Of the rest, I never tire of adoring Kenny. The detective twist is also not bad.

@KseniaZ: Yes! Kenny is actually handsome! He immediately stood up for Faith and shielded it with himself. I don't think he needs this promotion and all the problems associated with it. He would have told Vera about it long ago, given their close relationship. He is satisfied with the place he occupies, doing the usual things. If you're already digging around before retirement, what's the point of such worries?

Но Джо в чем-то прав: по сути Вера не выращивает себе смену/приемника. И без нее отдел сам по себе не знает что именно делать. Тот же шаблон для опроса, позже взять на допрос молодого сотрудника, чтобы научить - всего этого нет.
