Perhaps the most difficult farewell. Especially realizing that actor David McCallum actually died in September 2023

The whole episode I sat with my eyes in a wet place, just from the first seconds, and by the end I was already crying in full force 😢😭😭 Weatherly's cameo is great, of course, I didn't count on Harmon, but Michael came and brought the spirit of that very NCIS, as well as scenes with memories and photos with the teams. In general, a gorgeous series, but very heartwarming 😢💔

I didn't expect to cry a couple of times, to be honest. It seems that the show is not the most beloved, and the character is not the most beloved, and I was warned by the comments under the last series, but time is taking its toll! For us, they are already like family members damn for so many years. The wreath from Abby was cute. But the fact that Gibbs ignored the funeral of a friend is somehow not comme il faut at all. Ducky's quote didn't help.

I cried the whole episode. As the guys said, Ducky was the glue that connected the team. One of my five favorite characters. The fact that David McCallum died makes Ducky's death even sadder. Well, Michael's cameo is in the heart. I just felt the atmosphere of the good old NCIS, which has been gone for a long time. Tony, that's Tony. It's a pity that Ducky didn't fork out for the best moments with the departed characters, after all, Ducky had a stronger connection with Ziva, Tony, Abby and Kate than with the new ones, but it's understandable, the series is moving on. At least for the wreath from Abby, the photo with Kate on the wall and the flashback of Ziva, thank you.

In total, after 21 (!!!) The year of the series' existence, there are two left: McGee and Jimmy Palmer.

@vk1282665: In fact, only McGee remained from the first line-up. Moreover, the actor noticeably lost weight :(

@lliinnii: There is no one left from the original one. McGee and Jimmy both appeared after the start of the show. McGee is in the middle of the first season, and Jimmy is at the end. Just considering that Jimmy has been in the second or third rows for a long time, he does not feel like such a veteran of the show as McGee, but in fact they are in the show for almost the same amount of time.

@without_name: I'm talking about who has stayed since season 1. But still, McGee became the main character much earlier (season 2) than Jimmy (season 10).

Dakki was really the glue of this team. Absolutely everyone came to him for support and advice. And he always had a lot of stories. It's a pity Gibbs, Abby, Ellie, Ziva didn't come. Well, at least the flowers from Abby were shown. I was pleased with the return of a very special agent Anthony Di'nozzo. It is a pity that he is no longer in the series.
I will miss the stories of Dhaka, because they lasted 21 years. And I will definitely review the whole series from the beginning.

Saying goodbye is always hard... Moments from the past are pleasant nostalgia, but now with a noticeable hint of sadness. Dakki was a wonderful character, cozy and truly connecting between all the members of the team. David McCallum has invested a lot in him, for which I thank him. I'm going to miss you... another piece of the original series is gone, only this time it's really irrevocable.

What a tragedy! I didn't read the spoilers, and I didn't see anywhere in the news that David died. It was very unexpected (although quite expected, if you think about it, the age is still). I really liked his character, an insanely charismatic actor. In recent seasons, very little screen time was given to him (it was hard already on the set, apparently), we will remember and love <3 Thank you for all the stories and informative facts, Dr. Mallard! And special thanks for this series, some flashbacks smiled, some made a tear. A great actor and a great hero.
