@ShrecKer: the conventions of a fictional universe. There is no hard Sci-Fi here, you should not look for logic. The weapons were made according to the models of guns of the second / First World War, and maybe a lot of other things too.

Somehow, with each new episode, interest in the series fades more and more. I hoped that in the final season they would try to surprise me with something in order to end the series on a high note and compensate for the shortcomings of previous seasons, but so far there is nothing to cling to in the third season at all. The creators simply can't tell you something new. The empire is looking for Omega, then Omega was captured, then Omega escaped... Let me guess: in the remaining episodes, Omega will finally incline the clone doctor to the side of goodness, the squad will prepare a plan to save Omega, maybe Tech will resurrect, there will be a final epic battle, Omega will be saved, and maybe some kind of surprise will be prepared... Banality, variations of which we have already seen in previous seasons. I will be glad to make a mistake.
