A strange incomprehensible ending, and it is clearly possible to ask the question - is there a need for a sequel? The series turned from a serious psychological drama of the first season into a police thriller of the second. And although the season turned out to be strong and interesting, it is clear that the series turned on a completely different track from the drama of the new lost generation towards the detective thriller of a happy family of good killers.

Я совершенно не уверена, что в 3 сезоне получится что-то путное, но, в принципе, можно и совсем закончить, концовка в стиле 2 сезона "Настоящего детектива" в чем-то. И половина героев пошла в расход. Я плохо помню 1 сезон, начинала смотреть вообще ради актрисы, которая Грейс играет. 2 сезон начинался бодро, но как-то все пошло не туда. И весь сериал такой. Идея есть (даже книга была в 1 сезоне), актеры есть хорошие, но сценарий проседает. И тянется сюжет местами. Вероятно, 2 сезону пошло бы на пользу сократиться до 8 серий.

I no longer understand principled cops who didn't give a damn about the context of the crime.

As much as the first season was great, so is the nonsense in the second. Half of the characters have changed their characters, they have twisted nonsense. Conspiracies, intrigues, investigations were made of a realistic thriller...
