We've already seen something like this about Hayley...
how different Hayley and Petrovich are, but they work very well together
The police are jumping over their heads over and over again and getting steeper and steeper

@Sоfia_27: Well, the Police were initially stronger than the Firefighters, starting with season 1.
But the Police still specifically slipped, the last three seasons for sure. Voight stopped being so tough, Ruzek specifically got fat and they don't pay attention to him, after Jay left, they don't know what to do with Hayley at all, they generally scored on Kevin before the scenes, and they continue. One joy is Burgess, well, she was carried through such a tin that she was a star.
Novaya Petrovich may bring something fresh to the series, I really hope.

@Egor871: well, the Firefighters took a completely different approach - they had a very cool backbone from Casey and Severide + excellent Cruz, Herman, Bell, and so on. Their fire department was a real family.

Probably in vain that the actors playing in the series in the contract do not prohibit the disclosure of retirement until the end of the contract..after this episode, one would basically expect a new arch for Upton if they didn't know about her impending departure..
