I can't stop thinking about the scene where Ava and Deborah are holding hands and riding motorcycles. Also to the music. There is also a close-up shot of their hands. There is no heterosexual explanation for this scene…
I'm no longer talking about the fact of holding hands, but about how it was filmed. It is a close-up shot of hands to romantic music that is a scene straight from a romcom. If a heterosexual couple were in their place, I'm sure you wouldn't even respond to my comment, much less put cons)))) At the same time, I realize that in the canon between them there will most likely be nothing more than these fleeting touches and conversations about feelings around (don't leave me, I want to be where you are, you are in my head, etc.), but this does not prevent me from seeing something more in this scene. And of course, it's interesting that Ava broke up with her gorgeous girlfriend because she wanted to work with Deborah, do you also perceive it as a friendly gesture?
@_____mermaid___: She didn't break up with her girlfriend - she left her. These are different things. Ava thought she could sit on two chairs at once, but predictably it didn't work out.
I'm saying that when she decided to leave, her girlfriend said, "if you leave, then let's put our relationship on pause." Yes, it's not really a breakup, but it's still a temporary breakup and a huge risk to the relationship, and I don't even remember Ava thinking for a long time about what to choose
@_____mermaid___: and I absolutely understand what you mean. It seems to me that this whole season is about the fact that sometimes people who are perfect for each other are born at different times. I think they would be an ideal couple if there were no age and status differences.
@_____mermaid___: About the fact that Eva chose to work for Deborah, I also have a different view. I don't remember Eva putting restrictions or conditions on her girlfriend at work, etc., so why can't Eva choose what she wants in this situation? Why are conditions or me or something else the norm at all? Working with Deborah brings her incredible feelings, she feels like a top, is satisfied with her profession and does what she really likes. But no, if you love, stick your ego away and stay with me, because that's what I want)))
I've been thinking since the first episode that Ava and Deborah should be together... I don't care how it looks to the whole world, but "you're in my head" is the peak of romance!
@_____mermaid___: No heterosexual explanation? Seriously? ))) that is, there is no such thing?)) So is intimacy and friendship and understanding of each other necessarily a subtext of homosexual relationships? How differently we see the same thing. For me, the hand-holding scene is exactly about friendship and support, despite all these jabs and jokes.
Well, I'm not saying that the way I see their relationship is the only correct interpretation) you don't see any subtexts and for you it's only friendship, such an interpretation also takes place. But I wonder how the fact that Ava had a dream about having sex with Deborah fits into the context of strictly friendship? Or is this a normal phenomenon for you between girlfriends?
@_____mermaid___: Well, how can you not say?))) when exactly do you say that there is No hetero explanation, that is, you deny all other interpretations, because, according to you, there are none) As for sleep, why can't it be a banal transfer?
I think I've only just realized why you're all reacting so sharply to this comment. "there is no heterosexual explanation" is a meme. I didn't mean anything straight serious, of course different interpretations are possible.
Perhaps the best, most heartfelt and funniest episode of what we have already seen this season. The moment with the "tire" that Ava was so proud of for a whole second and a half :D
Ooooh *chef kiss* it's been a long time since I laughed like that, a crazy episode, like the sixth! It's nice when the series doesn't lose its grip on the third season
Definitely the most favorite episode of the season so far and in the top of favorites in the whole series in principle😭 Just not one extra second. The series could generally be counted as a separate episode or even as a short meter, it can be watched separately from the entire series. I don't know how else to describe in words how much I liked this episode, 11/10💔
God, I'm in love with this show and this episode. It's both funny and meaningful at the same time. Their interaction and the way they rode motorcycles holding hands💔 It feels like this season is not only no worse than the others, but even surpassed them in some ways. Well, I would like to note separately: Why are you doing this? I don't even know you.😂😂😂
Great episode! The fact that Deborah and Ava were "separated" from civilization and from the whole world made this episode one of the best of the season. After all, the more their interaction in the frame, the cooler it is. And it's funny, and mentally, and there's something to think about. PS Jokes about Ava's big palms always make you smile for some reason)
At the same time, I realize that in the canon between them there will most likely be nothing more than these fleeting touches and conversations about feelings around (don't leave me, I want to be where you are, you are in my head, etc.), but this does not prevent me from seeing something more in this scene. A wonderful series!!
