@superime: You've opened my eyes right now.
I've been watching the series for three years, but I just found out that Isaac is Aramis.

@superime: and it doesn't bother you a bit that Aramis is white and Isaac is Indian in the Characters?????You should at least Google the cast before writing such nonsense...

A good start to the season. The plot and staging are not bad. The action is present, in moderation. I look further).

An excellent adaptation of Dumas's novel for original British television! so convincing that every time I mentioned a French name or a city, I wondered what France had to do with it if the series was about English medieval special forces?) but it doesn't matter that the Musketeers turned out to be a little more English than they should, right?! the main thing is that the characters are conveyed very accurately. The actors are talented and charismatic, the adventures are exciting. what else is needed for the happiness of a TV series fan))

A really good series. And personally, the Musketeers persistently remind me of pirates)))

This is such a free interpretation of a famous work that they have only names in common with Dumas. Historically, almost no hits, such utter crap is shown in places that I watched episode 1 with great difficulty.
The Musketeers never fought with their hands, much less with their feet, they were all nobles, and kicking is plebeian.
My lady with the demand for a bath- well, this is absolutely out of the question!!! Yes, no one ever washed there in those centuries, it's a well-known fact!
And mestizos and obvious Black roots, it just killed me.
Honestly, I don't understand at all why spend a lot of money on expensive costumes and make such an absurd series.

@oakhmedova: Do you seriously think that the nobles in any situation cared only about not looking "plebeian"? ))) Read the real memoirs, be surprised!
Here is one example of a "duel" from Tallemand de Reo:
"A certain nobleman, a Huguenot, named Perponchet, who served as a captain in Villa Cotre under Marshal d'estreux, once commanding the gendarmes of this Marshal in the detachment that Monsieur d'Arpajon led to Lorraine, in some kind of scuffle that broke out due to accommodation, received from a relative of Monsieur d'Arpajon received several blows with a cane, which the offender did not really want to admit. Arpajon decided to bring about a reconciliation between them; but on the day when it was to take place, Perponchet gathered all his gendarmes at headquarters, told them to hide their pistols under their cloaks; and when they gave him a stick in his hand, he struck with it half a dozen hard blows to the one who apologized to him, and he did nothing I couldn't help it, because the force was on the side of Perponshe. They stood up for him, and the matter ended in a draw. "
If hitting with a stick is better than with a foot - well, I do not know ...)))

Yes, it turned out to be a very loose interpretation on the theme of the original book, but compared to the 2011 film, it's almost canon)
If you don't expect the series to match the original or the story, it's very, very good.

@BATCOH: In the third season, the echoes of the story are audible to the naked ear. Only Aramis is like Mazarin (but this is more logical than Anna's relationship with d'Artagnan, as in the "Iron Mask"! ))) Priests have always been in her line. XD Some cardinals were courted by four pieces!)

An outlet for the eyes. It's easy to delve into, because a lot of things are familiar. The actors are well chosen. I like.

Приятно, когда в исторических фильмах-сериалах, особенно экранизациях, небелый персонаж имеет исторические основы, а не diversity for the sake of diversity.
