I liked Bubblegum's phrase: "I will declare war on the whole Lumpy Kingdom, ruled by your parents, if you don't apologize immediately!"
I directly felt that she was ruling her kingdom. IMHO.
and the phrase of the PPK: "of course you know me, I'm the Princess of the Bubble Kingdom, everyone knows me!" made me laugh :D

I still don't understand why the whole series takes place in some area and what happened to Johnny?

@eugene_onegin: I will assume that all those who got into the sphere of time travel without registering their molecules * appear outside the circle, as Babalgam said*. Johnny himself appears outside the circle at the end of the series, in parts, as he was sent into the past by the PPK)
