I don't quite understand Derek, and he doesn't seem to understand himself either. Addison is trying to fix what she did, but Derek doesn't seem to care about marriage at all and he stayed with her for the reason "she's my wife." And in the end, it's Meredith's fault, who didn't know about his wife at all.

@wow-lovely: Quite a faceted IMHO, a self-confident woman. And Derek found himself in a stupid situation, which he was morally unprepared for, because of her wagging her tails back and forth. She first fucked up 11 years of marriage with him, "to attract attention to herself," he reacted as he should - left and closed the chapter, met a new woman and was happy with her. And then, six months later (or how many times did they say he was already in the hospital? 6 months or 6 weeks? It's still 1.5 months before the start of the series and + 2 of the first season) she showed up, and only because the head of the clinic called her, and at the same time decided to return her hubby. "Oh, I'm sorry, I made a mistake." Even during the operation, make a mistake, injure the patient, and then say "I'm sorry, I made a mistake" and expect him to go under the knife again. Cheating is a serious emotional trauma, the breakdown of a relationship, the whole life is down the drain. But the person has adapted, because he has the right concepts. And now it's because she's such a "charming beast" that she's convinced him to come back, but you can't really glue a broken one together. So if Derek can be accused of anything, it's that he thinks it's right to return to his wife, since she seems to have repented outwardly, although you can't tell your heart to do it anyway. Your Edison tore all the strings of his heart and soul (twice!), and now yes, let's call him a mattress... Although, I agree, fuck his wife, he would have saved his heart at least a second time. I shouldn't have hesitated. Leaving, go away. I don't understand Derek either. I think that my wife stayed in the series only because of the charisma of the actress, the separation from whom the audience would not like.
It's probably important that someone is annoying in the series)) For some reason, Meredith was my victim this time. I have a feeling that the expression of her eyes constantly does not correspond to the emotions that she conveys. They're always smiling at her. Or the expression is completely emotionless. Enrages.

@Virginia: I wrote about it, I think, at the end of the first season. The actress who plays Meredith has this sense of self and a look of "I'm fucked up, I'm a kick-ass", which gives her an appeal that justifies her appointment to the main role, but in most places it is stupidly inappropriate for the role itself, and it does not suit a woman crushed by emotional trauma at all, so she remains at best to portray "frozen trauma." If you put yourself in her place (the actress), you will understand that the above-mentioned feeling can be preserved as a shield from everything and even a pass anywhere, but only if you do not allow the slightest doubt in your mind, never and under no circumstances. And if you want to get used to the role of a traumatized girl, you will violate it, and perhaps irrevocably. So you can understand her, although this also deprives me of sympathy for the heroine, but this is the American film entertainment industry, apparently justified, since we are also watching all this, that beauty and charm are more important for GG, and not the ability of an actor to play complex emotions (they generally have such a theater school as ours, in There are no France, Great Britain and Australia, so at best we have imports of actors from these countries - K. Bale, I. McKellen, H. Jackman, S. Marceau, K. Deneuve, etc. - but mostly on the big screen).

@alavitka: interesting reasoning. In the end, of course, I got used to Meredith. It's impossible to watch 14 seasons and not get attached to the main character. Gradually, the luminous joy always left her eyes and she became more subtly emotional, agreeing with situations, so I began to believe the actress more in general. As for beauty, of course, it is always more pleasant for us to look at beautiful faces, and, fortunately, it happens that both beauty and talent coincide.

@Виргиния: Ну, возможно, дальше будет лучше. Видимо, в связи отсутствием у них толковой школы я заметила, что старушки играют вообще офигенно. Не исключено, что актрису жизнь пообмяла немного и к тому же за время, которое идёт сериал, она научилась лучше играть. У Бриджет Реган такой же взгляд, и если в Легенде об Искателе к нему не было вопросов, ибо Исповедница особенная (хоть как я ни ненавижу этот сериал за то, как он обошёлся с книгой), то в Последнем Корабле морская разведчица посреди постапокалипсиса с таким взглядом да ещё и обольщая капитана, который жену потерял, а потом женщину, к которой душой привязался, тоже меня сильно раздражала изначально. Потом капитану характер тоже малёхо поменяли (сломался, дайте нового) и стало не так диссонировать, или я уже привыкла. Возможно, это тоже с возрастом пройдёт. Никому не дано сохранить невинность...

@alavitka: не смотрела оба сериала, которые Вы назвали, поэтому не могу прокомментировать, но, думаю, что в любой профессии необходим опыт, а за 14 сезонов у актрисы было предостаточно времени его получить)

Ох уж этот поцелуй в конце... До мурашек.
Меня прямо раздирают воспоминания и приятная меланхолия о том, что будет дальше.
Все-таки это один из лучших сериалов всех времен, столько он принес мне слез, смеха, улыбок, столько душераздирающих моментов, когда кажется, что сердце вот-вот вырвется из груди. Один из самых трогающих и драматичных tv shows, какие вообще есть.
Стереть бы сейчас себе память до конца и наслаждаться просмотром этого шедевра, но на самом деле, и во второй раз и в третий раз... Каждый раз, как в первый раз. Эмоции зашкаливают.

А Алекс и Иззи-это что-то такое воздушное и нежное, лишние слова тут не нужны.

Понимаю что сериал как-то более для девушек, всё так Анатомия Грей ведь. Но как же меня бесит сифозный Алекс. Он же отвратительный человек, и какую бы там глубину он в себе не скрывал, он просто самодовольный. грубый красавчик. Причём ещё походу и врач так себе..пока складывается такое впечатление. Хоть я и вижу что он все 16 сезонов будет. Он и Иззи просто олицетворяют для меня алогичность отношений.
И всегда обидно за Омейли, тоже просто до скрежета в зубах архитипичный друг девушек, находящийся во френдзоне.
Мне интересно смотреть сериал из-за качественных драматических сюжетов, но "ванильные" разглагольствования Грей (иногда моральные и в точку, а иногда вода водой), и просто растянутые любовные отношения всех со всеми...Хотя постойте, я же смотрю сериал об этом!
p.s. загуглил Омейли, актёр гей. Фиаско, братаны!

Со своей колокольни легко других судить. Мы бы и операцию правильно завершили, и любимую женщину выбрали (без оглядки на прошлое), и врачебной ошибки не допустили. Но мы зрители, нам проще , а у них жизнь, и она такая, с ошибками)))

Shepard's choice is somehow unconvincing. He looks in relation to Addison (by the way, which is still correct - Allison or Addison??? She is called this way and that in the film) frozen from the word at all. There is no spark there. It turns out that purely out of a sense of duty, she was chosen, they say, by her wife, period? But why ? There are no common children, they are not too burdened with obligations. Derek claims 11 years of marriage, which is not so easy to erase, but at the same time says that he and his wife are already estranged from each other. Maybe this is purely my experience, but when you move away, it's easier to run away; there is no doubt, especially when you have a passion for another woman on your agenda. So, Derek's refusal to divorce really looks purely like a director's move, they say, Addison is too gorgeous to take her out of the series so quickly, and, they say, you have to look at the love tosses of the main characters, it's not interesting without them. Okay, I don't mind, but then it would have been better justified: passions would have been added to Shepard's ex-wife, which would have tormented Meredith and the audience. Or is Derek just a heartthrob in the guise of a kind uncle who gets high fooling two women? Well, it doesn't look like it either... Although, it could be. We will look further.
