Honestly, it's funny to watch Betty trying to get through to everyone's conscience. Those who have a conscience do not survive in big business. And they don't do very well in life either. Such naivety looks annoying even in a TV movie.

@Puf: Personally, it's not her naivety that annoys me as much as her inability to learn from her mistakes. As in the case of this high school enemy friend of hers (Lindsay Lohan). Okay, I decided to help in trouble - that's understandable, but when she openly started saying what a schmuck Betty was and that she would get her fired, then her reaction was completely trash. She stupidly refused to do anything and just waited for Mark and Amanda to do all the dirty work. In short, her ability to solve "dirty" problems with someone else's hands is very annoying. There are a lot of such moments in the series.
