The acting of some actors does not always look natural, because they are theater actors. Exaggerated emotions, vivid intonation - pure theater. It's a pity, of course, that the actors can't rebuild, but that's what we're happy about.

The lack of wigs really hurts the eyes. Otherwise, I like it so far (although, as noted above, some actors sometimes overdo it a lot).

I expected more from Maria Saltykova. She looks too much like the princess from "Poor Nastya", the same way of playing. Maybe that's how it should be. at first, but I want to see her in a slightly different image of a princess. especially Catherine.

What kind of Princess of Wales was invented? This title is not given at birth, it can be obtained only by marrying the heir to the British throne. Menshov plays terribly, in my opinion. Overall, I like the series!

The Cossacks, of course, are great and all that, but they were really used as a "private military organization." There is plenty of evidence for this, including government papers from several eras.

I really like Alexandrova as Ekaterina. I don't really see her in other roles anymore. Season 1 is the coolest.

It's always interesting to watch historical series, to see how people lived, dressed, and the story itself is addictive. Cool TV series, I'm watching it all the time

Beautiful Marina Alexandrova! And I really liked how the actress plays Elizabeth.
The scenes with Ivan Antonovich made my heart sink.
If the series does not slow down further, then we can say for sure that it has fulfilled my expectations based on positive reviews.

Elizabeth certainly reminded me of a psychopath, especially when she talked about prison and a monastery. It's creepy.
These are the kind of beast emperors we had.
