A brilliant series! How could I have avoided him for so long! Dmitry Yuryevich's voice acting is especially colorful. I was pleased how they posted all the obscenities in translation for TV3, but forgot to remove the Russian mat in the original road)
Marty and his wife eventually gathered all the mafiosi under the roof of the new restaurant, amused)) That's how HBO knows how to shoot not TV series, but real works of art, and it doesn't matter that it's 2018, it's such a powerful work that in 20 years it will look like a classic!!!
Cool first season. I started watching it several times and it didn't go in, but now it just went in and swallowed it in one gulp. The charisma and color of the characters is something with something
A perfect ending to a wonderful series. It's just a classic of American TV series in all its glory.
I am very glad that I decided to watch this series after all and fell in love with it literally from the 2nd episode. The series is very "real" in terms of working out the images of the characters of both the first and second plan. You really get into their lives / experiences / passions / problems.
The very cool integration of the psychologist into the series adds interest to the place.
In general, thanks to the creators, I'm running to watch the sequel.
I tried to start watching several times But he still didn't come in And then it just went down. I'm more drawn to that good old American atmosphere here. Everything is so lamp-like, cozy, homely I really like the atmosphere. Now they're shooting in a completely different way... Although I don't like Puchkov, but it's just incomparable here The series is not about everyone, not for everyone...it's hard to advise watching it, but whoever feels it will be cool
The series ended well. The season is generally a bomb, but minor issues are purely on the last episode: 1. Why is the series called that? Tony's Kusomano dreams take no more than 30 seconds. Dreams are either a gun on the wall, or an attempt to confuse the viewer and play on his expectations, or the name was invented to fuck off 2. What kind of cream/paste/what is it on Polly's face in the restaurant in the final scene?
@EasyMan: Regarding the title of the series, the wiki says that these were Jimmy's last words. I'm looking at the voiceover, I didn't hear this phrase myself, it looks like they forgot to translate it.
A great end to the season. Almost all the lines have been tightened and something has been closed, something has been given a new direction and somewhere a thread has been left
keep in mind, guys, that Melfi's words about BPD have nothing to do with real psychiatry. people with BPD are not psychopaths, they have feelings and they can enter into normal relationships with other people. Soprano's mother has no signs of BPD - except for caricature ones
@crazybee: You should decipher the abbreviations, otherwise not everyone speaks English. I had to Google to figure out that you were talking about borderline personality disorder. And it's included in the ICD, but yes, it's definitely not psychopathy. Although their relationship can rarely be called normal.
@eastfield311: Time also has an effect here, there's a lot of stuff from psychotherapy that's outdated. Even more so. I think Mom has sociopathy in all its glory there.
A great end to the season. Tony showing a heart to the feds is just lovely :) And how I like Dr. Melfi!
Tony's mom is a dangerous woman. You won't understand if she's doing all this on purpose (during the season) or if she doesn't really understand what she's saying.
"All the problems are due to cunnilingus and psychiatry" 😂
Tony's conversation with Artie is great! Tony honestly said that he did not set fire to anything, he only gave orders 😅
A wonderful episode, the scene with Livia in the hospital and the scenes with Dr. Melfi are just the peak of emotions! The legendary quote about cunnilingus and therapy was put on repeat 10 times. I really liked the first season, such quality, everything is so fresh, you can't even tell what was filmed in the last century, as noted above. And the acting is just super!!! And I just love the screensaver, the best screensaver!
The ratings don't lie, the series is great. As filmed, actors, lives, streets, murders, emotions, etc. all really like it. James Gandolfini in the title role is wonderful!
How I love Tony's relationship with the psychiatrist, they have such chemistry and I ship them furiously! Although it's as if if they really have something, this chemistry will be lost and it won't be the same. But it's a pleasure to watch them, and in general I get high from the series.
I am happy that I discovered this masterpiece at a conscious age, and did not watch it as a teenager. all the characters are so colorful, cool locations, the shooting is amazing (if you don't know that it's ‘99, then you won't even say that), the dialogues are entertaining, I fell in love with the series from the first episodes. My mother was bombed throughout the season, just frantically, the writers worked this moment out great. I'm sure she's faking it, I don't believe in such coincidences. Once again, I am convinced that HBO are geniuses and masters of their craft! I am looking forward to it with great pleasure.
An amazing series! Thanks! The actors, the script, the music — everything is incredible! It's a pleasure to watch this, I'm not afraid of this word, a masterpiece!
- Mom died. - Really? When? - Six months ago. - Give her my regards.
This old bastard keeps trying to ruin his son's life. Even in his dotage!
- I didn't burn down your restaurant. I swear by my mother!
A minute ago it surfaced that your own mother turned you in, and now you swear on her life? It's kind of lame.
The scene in the hospital wing with a pillow left a strong impression. The elderly scum was obliged to die with a pillow on her face, but again managed to get away with it. The unsinkable man.
@olekolegovich: it's more about the fact that this comment about "I swear by my mother" did not particularly convince that he did not burn down the restaurant)
@Paulina_Moriarty: so it's obvious to us viewers that he's lying (even if we didn't know about the restaurant) And his friend didn't know what was going on with his mother. He saw how much he cared about her, so he treasured her and wouldn't throw such words to the wind.
The guys from Tony's team run very funny, which I notice again:D
Polly Iago is pure water, it's interesting to review the series and notice all these subtleties and he really looks like a murderer, a real psychopath.
I really like Carmela and Adriana, although Adriana made fun of the former in one of the previous episodes, but I think she really looks like her.
It's a strong male series, I just got involved, atmospheric and relaxed. I didn't like the first episode, of course, because of the session with the psychologist, but starting with the second one, it immediately began to drag on, and the sessions already looked more lively and even funny in places) And yes, you really only need to watch it in Goblin, it's just like it was made with just such a voice acting. By the way, Tony's wife and mother are really similar in appearance. But his love for a psychologist disappeared at the end of the season. I was hoping to check out her boobs again. I'm following Tony's sexual fantasies all over the show. First the psychologist, then this amazing Italian, but it's a pity that she's not real. His wife is also beautiful, by the way, she has some charm.

I got to the sopranos in 2026. It's a good crime comedy. Actors, my respects. No wonder the series is called one of the best. The soprano is the same voice in the singing, a subtle reference that Tony sings about our case for this psychiatrist, subtly, subtly.
The only thing I regret is that I didn't watch this series during the depression. It would be very useful to me. Now I'm already looking at everything from the outside, both at Tony and at myself. And my relationship with my mother ended almost the same way.…

62And oh, that grin of Livia's.. A scary man
