All the time I was waiting for a trick from this Tully. It was a shame for George right up to tears when his friends took Tully with open arms in spite of George. Isn't it up to him to decide? Annie giggled quite unhealthily in general. But I was very pleased with how desperately Mitchell defended Annie, changed his mind the second he found out. How will it end in the end? Vampire porn is a tin, of course ><
What Aiden is in the American version, what Mitchell is in the British version - they carry all the intrigue, charisma, horror and prudence. And the hysterical sufferers of a werewolf (Josh and George) look like kindergarten compared to the darkness that vampires hide =)
Tully surprised me. He looks like a tough, goofy survivalist, a boor and an asshole, and suddenly he got into a loop out of loneliness... I'm glad George sent him away.
While there are too many parallels between the series, I hope the stories will diverge more in the future.
Still, the characters are revealed pretty well here (for the most part). Some kind of rot from Tully was felt immediately, then it grew and grew, without backup and motives, and then it began to grow with these motives and understanding appeared. Yes, he is still a vile manipulator and, most likely, he was like that in human life, but it becomes clear why he stuck to George so much, why he arranged everything in such a way as to bind himself to himself. He just wanted to be with his pack. And all his intrigues are for this very reason, and not just because he is a nasty type.
