The first season is not about anything at all! But after reading in the comments that you just need to "survive the first season", I began to watch the 2nd season with hope.
It doesn't catch on.
I keep watching.
And now I'm already watching the second season, I turn it on in the morning, in transport and in the evening...
Hooked!
There was no special episode that blew up. It's just a charismatic series that makes fun of our lives in a very funny way. The positive from Leslie is very catchy! There is also a great mimicry game here!))

I've read quite a lot of comments about the fact that the first season is terrible or about nothing. I absolutely disagree with this. Because this series hooked me from episode 1-2. I don't know what everyone finds so terrible about the first season of this series.

Overall, I liked the first season. I liked Leslie and her team's positive attitude and self-confidence. but still, I don't understand American viewers a bit, how the rather weak first seasons of "Parks" and "The Office" gathered good ratings and were given the green light, and other sitcoms like "Selfie", catchy from the first series, are closed due to low ratings. I hope that the "Parks and Recreation areas" will accelerate, as they write here on the Main Street. I liked Andy's band :)

@kamarenka: they may look unrepresentative at a short distance, but they performed well at a long distance (The Office, in my opinion, is a cult series)

the season as a whole somehow doesn't work at all. It's too bland. no really hilarious jokes, no huge amount of mediocre jokes, no absurdity (which once attracted in the office). the characters do not arouse much sympathy and lack sufficient colorfulness. it is clear that it is necessary to give the series a chance, but the start is very unimpressive (

After watching the first season:
Boring. There are jokes, of course, but not catchy, I can't remember a single one. The characters are kind of weird, let's just say. But I'll try to watch the second season...

I sat down to watch and... some kind of ass. Nothing interesting. I think, okay, maybe the first episode is like this. No, it turned out that the whole season was pretty much like that. I may not have grown up to all these jokes and I'm still too stupid to watch it. Don't know.
I'll try to look further. If it's still rotten, I won't look.

@Lady_Phantomhive: The office starts off sour in the same way. You'd better look at it ahead. There will be slight similarities, but the series, as such, are absolutely about different things. It may also take a while to like the Community, or it may take a while. In general, these are the first sitcoms, the first season of which did not really attract, or even scare away, except for the Community, but the further I looked, the more they changed for the better before my eyes.

Люди которым что-то не понравилось в первом сезоне, простите, а вы на каком языке вообще сериал смотрите, пишите сразу, чтобы было понятно - обоснованы ли ваше "претензии". Потому что там процентов 50 юмора это игра слов и всякие афоризмы/фразеологизмы. Небось смотрите в каком-нибудь ужасном переводе, а потом удивляетесь "почему не смешно".
Сериал абсолютно гениальный, 10/10 просто, 10/10.

Как ни странно, мне в целом понравился даже первый сезон. Персонажи все со странностями, а ситуации максимально комичные. Понимаешь, что в жизни всего этого скорее всего быть не могло бы. Юмор тоже специфический, но что-то в нём всё же цепляет. Смотрю данный сериал в качестве отдыха от сериалов с глубокомысленным посылом.

Мне скорее понравился первый сезон, чем нет. Тут бывает такое что серия может состоять на пятьдесят процентов из забавного и на пятьдесят процентов из испанского стыда, но чем-то он таки пока цепляет =)

Прям интерес берёт какой же там второй сезон и понравится ли он мне, учитывая что и первый то вполне зашёл

Хороший сезон, мне очень даже зашло. Не понимаю почему все плюются с этого сезона. После первой же серии стал ориентироваться во всех персонажах и запомнил все имена, что редкость. Индус больше всего понравился, ну и юмор у него, потусторонний. Главная героиня больше раздражает, слишком позитивная какая-то, эдакий свидетель Иеговы без Библии. Ещё понравилась Эйприл, угрюмая вся такая и ее фирменный взгляд исподлобья. Продолжу просмотр с большим удовольствием.

тоже не согласна с теми, кто говорит пропустить 1 сезон! знакомство с персонажами, юмор, все зашло)
между прочим про офис так же говорят и он тоже понравился с 1 сезона)

Привет из 2023. Ничего не знал про сериал кроме как его сравнивают с Офисом и видел мемасы оттуда. И блин, офигенный сериал со своим юмором. В общем смотрим дальше. Лесли очень своим позитивом располагает)

Я в числе тех, кому этот сериал понравился с первой серии, но так и с Офисом было, который я в итоге ужасно полюбила, поэтому надежды после первого сезона большие)
