The series is just amazing, it's only the second episode, and it's already almost great.
To build the whole series around the fact that Matthew McConaughey is the first thing that the search engine gives out for the query "cool" is fine. Rust Cole's famous monologue from the mouth of Dave Franco, who plays an alien, sounds new and unexpected, funny to the point of colic. Five points.

@eto_arenberg: yes, unexpectedly, new and very, very appropriate, especially about the locked door and about the dream of being human, ha. more appropriate than in TD itself, which is amazing. and the phrase "he got kind of boring" seems to comment on the career of McConaughey himself. and I also, of course, liked this one, from dazed and confused: "the older do you get, the more rules they're gonna try to get you to follow."

@eto_arenberg: By the way, Ken didn't comment on the quote from true detective because he didn't watch it, because he only watches old movies?

it's like a Sci-Fi version of community, I think. and the scene with McConaughey quotes is a damn masterpiece, already one of the most beloved scenes in the TV series ever.
Paul Feig is great.
