The expiration date starts a little later than the middle, when the general plot starts. And the poker series is especially good. I'll mention the music separately - it's gorgeous.
After completing Devil may cry 5, I decided to remember my youth and watch the anime that I watched 7 years ago. And you know, it's even cooler here than I remembered. Yes, it's not the greatest masterpiece of all time, but it's quite atmospheric and so native. Well, Dante is love in general.
"How to attract visitors to the bar? Add strawberry ice cream to the menu."
With his archetype and silver hair, Dante is very similar to another ice cream lover and jack of all trades, Gintoki from the anime Gintama. Even their appearances on the screens happened almost at the same time. But as for me, the stories for one episode don't work as well here as in the same Gintama. It gets frankly boring here in the second half of the season, while Gintama can keep you going for 50+ episodes of the same kind, which have their own story within the same series. The drawing is excellent, old-school, but I can't help but note that even when viewed with subtitles, there are very big problems with rendering the characters' faces. So in the end, he doesn't even reach a solid 7 and gets the most ordinary "Normal" from me - 6 out of 10. A product of its time, so to speak, and in those years of youth, these episodes that were played on TV flew with a bang, because it was at the end of the 2000s that I first saw this anime.
